#296, "What are Justiciars and Vindicators, and what is the differnce."
|
I have been tryin to find what they where for a long time and i seem to not be able to find exactly what they do, is it because there roles in the game are foggy on purpose(cant see a foggy role in the tribunal) or is it that hard to find information on what they do on purpose? If ya cant tell me just come out and say it.

You have
Magistrate - Duty to warrant criminals and kill them Justiciar and Vindicator, is a magistrate broken into the tow parts
Justiciar takes the part of investigation and warranting criminaks Vindicator takes the part of hunting and bring criminals to justice.
The difference between magistrate and the other two, are the other two are given power developed to better aid them on what they are designed to do.

They have been very vague in the past. We are currently working on changing it and adding helpfiles for the various pieces. It is in progress and will hopefully be unveiled soon enough.
The basic breakdown is Magistrates: Policemen of the Cities Vindicators: Hunters of Criminals Justiciars: Investigators

>Both of them are tribunals that are able to use guards, >manacles, and vigilance outside of town.
In the past, this was true.
>They fill the same basic role. While magistrates watch the >towns, the Justs and vinds go out and hunt criminals on their >own ground.
In the past, this was true.
>The difference comes from "WHY" they go out hunting criminals. > For a Justiciar...JUSTICE is the main concern. For >Vindicator...the LAW is everything.
Wrong.
>They get some interesting powers...one of which is the ability >to call mob-citizens of a city to go out hunting the >criminal.
Wrong.
>And they have powers that are different.
Correct.
>Vinds have another manacle like power that is stackable with >regular manacles...as well as doing damage every step the >criminal takes...a VERY pimp power.
Some wrong, some correct.
>Justs on the other hand have some sort of weak hp transfering >power. (At least last I heard, it might have changed)
Wrong.
