#1933, "Request"

Is it considered OK to request something you've no use for but want to identify, if you hand the item back once you've finished?

As long as I don't hoard or request for others, then? Got it, thanks.

If you want to just ID an item, I think it's acceptable to request an item you don't know if you need if you then give it back to the mob after requesting it if you notice that you don't need it.

Unless you're a thief, or you happen to try to request the item anyway, you'd have no idea that the mob had their piece.

I don't know if that would tie-in to the 'goodie mob time-lapse eq returning' code or not.
