Something about Look vs Look HERE.

Yes, I know it's in the help file. As a former player, I walked fairly carefully through the newbie area, especially with the new commands. This is one that was not included, that I noticed. And if I missed it in the academy, feel free to thwack me across the head.

We all know that no one reads the help files unless they're put under our noses.. and really.. look is look.. Errr.. why would I check the help file? =)

With the current Academy, I'm a little worried about information overload. A number of recent tweaks (you can only walk into your own guild instead of being able to wander through them all, you look into a pool instead of seeing lots of signs explaining every alignment, etc.) have been towards cutting information that isn't urgent.

That said, we're contemplating expanding the Academy one day with a more 'advanced newbie' section, and this level of information detail might be useful there.

Sort of a place where people can find information that is more CF specific and less MUD mechanic specific.... also, a good place to brush up on stuff after an extended vacation from CF. I highly support this idea and demand that some heroimm begin working on it yesterday.

If I were a heroimm I'd likely volunteer to do it. =)
