#1044, "Trepidation and the Fun Factor"

Here is my problem. Yes, I am aware I am playing a race/class that might be adverse to the Outlanders, making me an open target for powers such as trepication and bio empathy.

Here is my problem. Pre 11, walking through the woods is already a royal pain, throw on top of that trepidation, and it makes me want to straight up delete because I am 2 hours for every step in some areas... Also it makes me want to shoot who ever the #### gets their jollies from seeing pre lvl 11 characters move like molasses, this is definately not fun for me, and if it is fun for someone else, they are sick and deserve to FOAD.

I do not mind it being allowed to hit me 11 and above, since you are in the pk-ranges, but pre-11 skills that very adversly affect lowbie characters I think should be changed.

At those levels, you can just RECALL back to your home town and totally avoid all the hassel you are having.

Plus, you'll end up at your hometown healer who will help refill your movement %'s also.

Also, there are a couple of different ways for low levels players to up their movement regain so they won't have to spend so much time sleeping to get fully rested.

Hope that helps.

Recalling does not help you travel forward to an area that you are trying to get to. Also Many of the best lowbie ranking areas are in the woods.

Also as to the last part, only a few classes have means to up their mv regen or give mana regen. And if you are not one of them, or are not with one of them this makes life a pain in the ass, when you need to traverse said wooded area.

Well, touche! I just assumed you were traveling -from- the area after the trepidation so that whoever is bothering you, would stop.

Actually, that isn't true. There are pieces of equipment that every class can get that will up their movement regain. I can think of two off the top of my head. One which is purchasable(sp) and the other part of a quest.

After that though, it seems silly, yes, but other than the "the gods protect you from" I can't really think of a reason (from a RP standpoint) that they shouldn't be able to give you a hard time. It can be aggravating(sp) for low level characters, I'll agree with you there.
