**** Sorry, didn't think this would post so soon. I'll keep this as the offical goodbye thread. You can delete the other if you want.
31 PK's with 28 of those Landing the KB.... A new record for me. We won't talk about the Ratio though cause it sucked, I was probably the easiest conjurer to kill hands down.
So, by far my best attempt so far. But that's not saying much. Early on, I had a bunch of success. Had after a perceived drought on Immterraction after the RC I got a bunch of love from Fort IMMs, which was really nice. I could complain about A/B/S but I won't. Conjurers that play conservitively can live without it, I just didn't play Miyo that way. I think Hero is where I fell down a lot. I tried to pick fights with other Heros without A/B/S and was routinely schooled.
Now goodbyes:
Immortals:
Twist - Thanks a bunch for the RC. It made this character much more fun to play. Though I can imagine the nashing of teeth there must be out there. That familiar was awesome. In the hands of a more competent player, I think it would have been 100 times more deathful to have it.
NNaeshuk - Thanks for the talks and the words. Hurry up and get a religion going man.
Adekar - Thanks for listening to the Whining and immediately coming back with the Quest for Maran. That was easily the best experience I have had as a player to date. I hope there is more of that coming in light of all the negative PR, I really think this rocked me as a player and kept me interested for long time after. Sorry for deleting after our last talk, but I just didn't think trying to get a leader spot with 6 con was fair to anyone but me.
Allies:
Fintilli - You were around lots with me. Helped me power through those last few ranks. It was a cool trick you taught me there. I'll have to remember it for my next Conjie. Good luck with Prophet on that. Though sometimes I think you were more suited for Maran than Acolyte. Keep trucking man
Kemrin - At first I didn't know what to think of you, but after the first few talks, you were really solid in Miyo's eyes. Thanks for the talks and running round a couple of times. Sorry I wasn't a better player to help you those times you wanted to Rank.
Allistia - Thanks for showing me a couple of things and the talks
I know there were more... Post and I'll respond
Enemies:
Hanord - You had some interesting RP, I'll wait for your death thread to comment more. We had some cool interractions. Bards always have my number when it comes to fights. Escpecially as a conjurer.
Kormand - Man you were fun to fight with. Always willing to throw down. I think I ended up on the plus side of our war though.
Charine - God, I hated when I saw you show up in the Who list. I always knew I could expect you to come. You tooled me more than once. I don't think I ever really got the upper hand on you. You are a beast.... Nuff said
Paraloiut - I am way glad I had the Coyote to know when you were around. I think you probably got me twice, but I don't remember. I never got you, that much I know. Drogal got you once before you were hero, so I was hoping to be better at fighting you with Miyo, but I just wasn't. Great character.
Mortanis - You tooled me that one time, hard. After that I was really worried about fighting you. But then I got Maran and it seemed you never wanted to stick around after that. Not much in the way of interraction beyond that, but I hear good things.
Cala - Man you were a beast. I'm glad i could run well enough to keep you from killing me for the most part. I don't remember you might have gotten me once or twice though.
there were more that deleted before I did, post and I'll respond

I'm glad you were around for the quest, but I think it would be a mistake to think it was in response to the negative PR or our talk the day before. It was part of an on-going quest that Twist and I had planned and it just worked out that you were the Fort player on when we did it, and you did a good job with it.
I have a lot to say about Miyo and think he was a good character for you. Here's a collection of observations:
1> While you did fine roleplaying a Squire/Maran, if I hadn't read the role he felt indistinguishable from Drogal/Lehi to me. They've all felt like kinda cookiecutter Fort characters to me, and while you do that well, since you don't try to hide who you're playing I end up thinking "okay, there's Welverin" instead of "okay, there's Miyo." Try thinking of something (an accent? a few quirks or more noticeable personality traits? a controversial belief?) that makes your next character more easy to separate from your previous Fort chars.
2> I think you could have really stood to benefit from choosing the Banisher and Sword of the Heavens edges over Inner Planes, Footwork, and Planar Rifts edges. It killed me every time I saw you fighting Charine and not dismissing. And Sword of the Heavens should really be most CG conjurer's main priority if they want to PK.
3> I didn't notice any of the behavior from you that I talked to you about pre-Maraning after you were promoted, so good work on that. I'd say it was definitely deserved.
4> I really encourage you to play something other than Fort with your next character. You'll learn a lot more about PK (especially at hero, where you're not as strong) and RP if you have a broader view of the mud.
Best of luck with your next. Miyo was definitely an improvement over Drogal.

You're welcome. I don't know if I posted it, but my "formula" for that particular RC was A: Role Quality and B: How well would this role make a script for a summer blockbuster movie?
I could totally see scenes from your role being made into some cool wire-fighting action flick with a bunch of ninja-type dudes and your dad doing some 3D cool magic ####. So you got big bonus points, plus the role itself was pretty quality.
I'm curious how you feel about your decision to drop down to one main character? Do you think it helped you? Personally I thought you got a lot deeper into this particular character, and provide a much more substantial presence to your cabal (which is, I think, a big part of why you got Maran).
I know my history said something about pity-maranation, but honestly I think one of the biggest things that the Fort Imms look for on a char (and really, all imms for any leader type char) is a consistent presence. Obviously competence is a big factor too, but I personally am a fan of rewarding folks who are just plain trying really hard, even if they aren't winning all (most?) of the time.
GLWYN.

I think I tried really hard to take your comments to heart on how to play just one character. I rolled a few that never got past level 10 every time I did something I thought was stupid. I've tried to do more quality on my roles after the debacle a few months ago with the Invoker. I really liked this one, though sometimes I felt it hard to play to as Maran. I think acolyte at some levels might have fit better.
As far as my goals with this character I got all but a leader position. I just don't think I was ready for that with the way this guy played out.
I remember the specific day that you posted about in my history regarding that deal. I was scared to death of fighting Charine and losing. Which if you look at my PK stats you can see why. That and my biggest bane with Conjurers was how long it took me to conjure most times because I sucked at getting preps and never really farmed slow sources until much later. So when Kalistas died because I wasn't there, it was a pretty big low.... It's one of those things when I read it the first time, I think to myself, yeah where were you guys all the other times, when I was retrieving 3v1 etc... But then I read it again and was pretty in tune with what you posted there.
Now on to try and figure out a new Role for my next.
Thanks Twist.
