Meh, if you aren't feeling it, you aren't feeling it. I could tell the end was near after the Lich thing in Barovia. That sort of thing can definitely take the fun out of a char.

I liked Bruntaur. I'm not really familiar with any of your other chars but you always had this kind of nice, reserved quality that I respected.

It's probably worth noting that if I offer you leadership you can turn it down. I genuinely wouldn't be upset or look down on anyone that didn't want to be a Fort Leader. I know it isn't everyone's thing. I really try to convey that as a message when I offer it.

We had a talk once about expectations. I fell so far short of my own that playing the character became a parody of what I'd originally intended. Instead of this stoic, deathful paladin, I was an idiot-savant, blessed with superior knowledge of the right ideals, and no means to actually portray them as a follower of Baerinika. That began to chafe, and then the whole thing with the liches pretty much solidified my decision to play something that required far less personal expectation.

It really wasn't the leadership that was the problem. If I'd had my way, I'd have run it more like scion and told everyone who wasn't adequate to #### off, but Fortress needs to be newbie friendly in that regard, so instead I picked my spots to bitch and moan about how certain people acted and just ignored the people who clearly didn't have a clue.

I'll play a Baerinika follower again some time, and do it justice.

Wow. I thought you were a serial evil player?

I'm not. But I pk a lot better when I play evils.

We had a bunch of lowbies fights when i was playing my crummy fire villager Uknorae. I have vivid memories of when you played that dwarf paladin that ruled when I was in my shortlived prime with Gryshilniar. You strike me as a pretty cool player so i thought i'd chime in to remind you of that.
