Well, so here I am trollin the battlefields for some familiar names and I come across this. Sorry to see this but when you get burned out you get burned out. Not sure if you remember my char at all but for a long while there you were a big influence on how I tried to model my thief in terms of sneakiness and general attitude. I really enjoyed talking with you and actually getting to hear the story behind the lady that Zanbatou had come to look up to. Just sorry that I left before I could see all this interesting stuff people are talking about with alignment changes and the like. You helped me alot and I learned so much in just that short time I figured at least a thanks was in order. So, thanks. Thanks for making such a rockin character and I hope the next one does even better.
See you in there. And glwyn

I f-ing loved that bracelet. It was worth it. I was kicking myself after I got rid of it hoping that would be a good start on the trail to fix my alignment.
As far as the alignment change. The dream - My ONLY interaction on the subject. Speaking to Marcatis: Definately just another step to figuring out what I had to do. I liked the interaction. Was told I was too chaotic, so I dropped it, thanked him, and went on my way.
Asking Scions if they needed help lasted about... two seconds. After alignment change, I thought cabaling might give me the boost I needed to get interested in the character again. Obviously it would have just pissed someone off. Aside, I'd been at the Chasm before a few times helping without being asked, so it wasn't really anything too new.
I prayed to Rayhim at first because it was suggested by a neutral avatar. So, after a few days of that, and absolutely no responce, I decided to test out Daevryn. Roleplayed my way to finding both the bathhouse and the mansion, since the character had no idea where they were. The whole "If mommy says no" would pertain at all if only I'd gotten -any- responce but silence. So, after about a week of visiting shrines and praying, and realizing how much I already disliked playing the character, I just kinda burnt out on it. If I pissed either of the Imms off, sorry, was just trying to find something to do to with the situation.
Pretty sure I was just praying about bugs and things along that line, but it's an old character, and I've learned just not to pray at all. So, sorry if I annoyed, it wasn't intentional. The helpfil for prays says every fifteen minutes or so. I was waiting at least fortyfive to an hour. Might wanna fix the helpfile if you're going to rag on people about it, yknow? Again, if I annoyed, it wasn't intentional. Sorry about that.
Yes, I hated Heralds. That's what happends when one of them uses the word 'cunt' in rp conversation. I only ever attacked two Heralds: the one who called me a cunt, and the other that said there was nothing wrong with it.
Anyways, I just wanted to vent that all out a bit. If any Imms are pissed or whatever, sorry. I really enjoyed playing this character, but I'd stopped being interested far before the alignment change, and having no responce didn't fix it for me. I know that making me interested in my own character isn't your jobs, and I wasn't looking to be handfed.
The alignment change just really pointed out to me how bored I was, so I tried to do some rp to get back into it, and that didn't go too well, obviously. Thanks for all the interaction and exp that I did get. Sorry for all the headaches I seemed to have caused. I'll be more aware of it in the future.
Thanks for all your hard work Imms. I know I couldn't do it.

Thats one of the big problems with cf now adays. It seems that since the little comments became more used the immortals seem to wish to interact less. It wouldn't take much to pop out of no where, interact for a bit or even just say, NO... Or a personal echo to make you realize you are stepping on dangerous ground. The mudd is roleplay MANDATORY, but when you are looking for that roleplay it just doesn't find you. I tend to just not pray at all if I can help it and not even think about playing empowerment characters. You may enjoy yourself more.

Man, you had an eventful December. I did too, but in RL. Have no idea how Href would've handled Sybea being evil, would have been fun.
Wish I could've been around. Just *hate* that we never got to hit anyone with x number of damage traps in one big A-bomb step. And I found a new ingredient too!

There was a time some months back where traveling the eastern road was a major pain in the ass, no small thanks, I am sure, to you.
And at the most inconvenient times someone would be crouching in the shadows doing suspicious things. I liked the element of added trouble, so thanks for that.
I also liked that you didn't want to group in the early days when we were in the 40ies because Throkk was an outlander.

Hey... the spelling was darn close, even if you did miss it by a tiny bit. I wanted to stop by as I stopped playing a while back, I just keep waiting for my auto to come through, and say I thought you did a good job. One of the many reasons I dislike playing classes that cant fog, or detect hidden is because of thieves that are done as well as you. I know this from prior experience as you and I had a long chat with another of mine Behrious for that same reason... when you and company would clean out his weapons while in the middle of raid situations. The whole dream/align change and everything was some tough #### I bet... And I truly was sorry that things happened the way they did right after it... I really didn't tell anyone where you were. Kinda wish I had more interactions with players like you, they make the game even more interesting... Oh and I really enjoyed that you were talking to Setabos or whatever that necro's name was when I came he summoned and I killed him anyway... lol Good times...
Final note. Well played, and jump back in it again. I am sure the pk failure that was Klyndenstrom wont be my last char as I would hate to end on a bad note, so see you in the fields sometime.

Should have deleted a long time ago. Thanks for all the PC interaction, everyone.
The Imm that did the Dream for me: Sorry, but I already hated playing Sybea at that point, and I really didn't understand what I was supposed to get out of it. Klydrenstom (sp?) gave me a little talk right after that, the only player I talked to about it, and that was awesome. So, thanks for that, too.
I didn't understand the alignment chance, but it was all good. Losing a skill sucked as far as sealing PKs goes, but that was all good, too.
The characters that I'd really like to thank for RP and such: Istalin - You kept me interested for a while. Loved the Rp. Thanks. Ildmrin - Goodness. NOTHING I can say to thank you for all the Rp. I had a great time sparring, running around, and chatting. Fal - Like I said on goodbyes when you age died: Not enough good I can say to tell you how much fun I had. Href - I missed you when you stopped coming around a lot. Good luck with the character. Loved the endless sparring and the same build on a thief I wasn't trying to kill.
If I missed anyone, sorry. After nearly 500 hours it's hard to keep track.
I'm done with trappers for a very, very long time.
See you in the fields, Sybea, Myrakie, Arkuss

Ah, I can't believe you made it this long!
Let me just tell you, without your company Hrefnwik wouldn't still be around. So many things about your character amazed me, your persistent RP and making of enemies regardless of the consequences, your knowledge of the class, your lack of knowledge of Theran geography! and your basic deadliness compared to my adequateness, despite me always outsparring you!
It's very funny that two trapper thieves, the only ones in Thera besides Maethron, would happen to be ranking so slowly over 5 months (or more) up the ladder, and taking the same build. You were always just a few ranks above me, but often close enough to have some fun. I wish our play times overlapped more, it seems I'd just be leaving, or you'd just be leaving.
I first saw you in Cragstone, and as a player knew you were probably practicing on svirfs, and Href should have killed you for that, but was getting ready to quit out, and so Href took you at face value. I didn't attack, and soon this half-drow was always talking to me and we became friends instead of enemies.
With my play times so sporadic and my life drawn out, Hrefnwik didn't have many friends - Sybea was it, and you were a bad influence on him! But I'm glad for that. You rp'd to the hilt and just made the game fun, and the class too. There's too much damned mystery about trappers to figure out alone
Sybea is in my role, as big a part of Hrefnwik's life as you were. Thanks for making the game fun. Wish we coulda sparred in the arena!
Oh, meant to give you that storm shear you'd been wanting, but I couldn't seem to let go of it. Instead I'll get your PBF.

Really makes me want to throw up sometimes. I'm still horrible at getting around to places I haven't been a million times, but at least now I have the Cabals down! (Thank you Arkuss!)
Ahem. I know Sybea was a bad influence on Href, and I always exploited it as much as possible when I was rping with you.
Too bad we didn't run into eachother more. I think you caught me in Cragstone mastering defenses at like... level 15. Anyways, glad you took it lightly instead of what I expected. I already had a mace in hand and was flying when you came in, if I remember correctly.
Good work, and good luck! See you in the fields.

Thieves live too long and get too much nice gear. wah wah
At least thats what everybody says anyway.
I died alot but thats just because im such a newb.
Great times were had. I wish I was a little more ballsy and pked more. Of course, I couldn't sleep people, blind them, boneshatter them, get them bleeding and stack up so many hampers that armor just doesn't mean anything. Course I was always lighter. Good for evading.
You were the one consistent I saw with any character. I even learned what gear you were wearing so I could locate it and see if it was safe to walk around.
Maybe I didn't get to tie you up and drag you around but nobody liked me anyways.
Keep them coming.

Well, there goes the last of Satebos' contemporaries. I'm sorry to see you go, though I was half expecting an age death. A shame we didn't interact more, Satebos was always so busy, and couldn't see you when he's not. That conversation about who nipped the staff of wonders will always be a fond memory, Sybea will be missed. Have fun with your next one.
Out of curiosity, did you remember more about that token?
