This character, to me, pretty much epitomized the stereotype of 'Tribunal who sits on lots of awesome gear he doesn't really use.'
He also pretty much is the perfect example of the thing I hate most about playing good characters -- knowing you'll never get a reasonable crack at some of the best gear for your character because there's another good character out there who doesn't really do anything whose inventory is a better set of gear than you have.
Also, not a very good Tribunal. Lots of stuff I'd boot for if I was running the cabal.
Other than that, welcome back, I suppose! I have no idea about the Tower stuff.

>whose inventory is a better set of gear To my defense, I carried mostly weapons.
Ya, I should probably have given away my things before going AUTO. But I went on vacation for 2 weeks, came back and just did not really care afterwards. Sorry about that.
You are using: <worn on finger> (Humming) a thick platinum ring edged with gold <worn on finger> a strange black opal <worn around neck> (Glowing) a brooch set with blue stones <worn around neck> (Glowing) a brooch set with blue stones <worn on body> Five-Color Dragonscale Mail <worn on tail> --- <worn on head> (Glowing) the helm of brilliance <worn on legs> a pair of golden dragonscale leggings <worn on hindpaws> crimson-stained claw pads <worn on forepaws> a pair of razor-sharp front claw extensions <worn on arms> a plain phylactery <worn about body> a tattered, color shifting cloak <worn about waist> the elvish sash <worn around wrist> (Humming) a bracelet of woven gold <worn around wrist> the Bracelet of Longevity <mainhand wielded> (Glowing) a ruby-hilted scimitar named 'Desert Sun' <worn as shield> ---
You are carrying: a flecked potion (Glowing) the Scepter of Light (Humming) a long titanium spear (Glowing) (Humming) the crystalline eldritch sword named 'Spirit Breaker' (Humming) a bluish-white scimitar named 'Arctic Moon' the Bracelet of Charms (Humming) the shield of darkness the Weaver of Doom the hide of a desert troll a monk's robe ( 2) a ring embossed with lightning bolts (Glowing) (Humming) a flawless saber of pulsing hematite the hood of repentance a sapphire periapt an emerald periapt the Staff of Justice (Glowing) the fiery mithril sabre named 'Phoenix Edge' (Glowing) the Heart of Brimstone
Your character has the following edges: Strong Back: You have a strong back, more able to bear burdens. Kansetsuwaza Adept: You are especially good at hyperextensions. Smoke and Mirrors: After you vanish, you fade silently into the shadows. Master of Uraken: You are a master of the powerful uraken technique. Master of Nin Dogu: Your martial arts specializes in stealth and clever tools. Endure Paralysis: Your meditative calm resists paralytic magic. Zo Buki: You are unstoppable during your martial trances. Master of Owaza: You are a Master of Owaza. Master of the Garrote: You strangle with a concealed garrote. Speardancer: You deliver crippling piercing strikes with a spear.

This was my come back char in year 2007. And second assassin in my CF career. Gwarkul was intended mostly for exploration. I've joined Spire but this was always secondary.
I liked class overall. Especially with the addition of edges. I could pick fights I want and skip ones I did not like. Once I got a good grip on class I don’t think I died in PK past 35. Kicks sux though. They miss too much to be relied in PK.
My biggest regret I was unable to get into Silent Tower for some reason. It was/is my favorite area by far. Was it a bug or intentional from Nepenthe, I have no idea. I paged you on numerous occasions. This would be been nice of you if you gave me at least brief explanation why I could not get in. But oh well.
Several "meh" moments: -Imm modifying weight of my eagle staff so I could not use it in pk. Boo. -Another imm screwing my ability to request and saying nothing about it. -Getting "Desert Sun" sword (which is unique) and finding out it's proc is pretty much useless. I expected more from such rare weapon. (Desert Sun suddenly grows warm in your paws. A sheen of sweat breaks out on a sergeant's forehead and he looks thirsty.)
Couple elves who stood out in my memory:
Maethron - More often when not I felt you were cold-blooded drow of the Law (like Astein) rather then kind elf. Latter on you adjusted your RP and I think we came closer to liking each other.
Xinrithil - I liked you a great deal. While we did not always agree, I've always admired your style and was looking to talk to you. Well done.

I wanted to turn you into an enemy of the Spire and ally to the Tree, but after you left the Tribunal I just didn't see much of you and the order cabals grew too strong for me to have a safe conversation for any length of time. I didn't know about you running afoul of the gods, but I liked that you weren't a murder everything stooge to the Empire, and I was fascinated with you when you became uncabaled. GLWYN.

Eagle staff has been too heavy for felars forever Swist. That hasn't changed. You'd need to be a warrior with fist of titans to use it.
Cheers, Jhyrb

There was a bug for a bit where they could use it. Basically, it ended up with a fractional weight at some point in some area file conversion or another (e.g., 17 pounds and 15.99 ounces vs. 18 pounds), and some revision or other of the wield code made it only look at whole pounds, rounding ounces down. (And not, say, using grams which would also have worked correctly.)
I think both are fixed now.

You broke the law every time you could. I was amazed at the fact that you stayed in the Spire as long as you did. You hated my guts but still wanted to be friends with me because you needed a pocket healer for exploration. (I suppose I did the same to you.)

>You broke the law every time you could.
It is not like I intentionally broke the law to get some benefit out of it. I was simply reckless when chasing people. It just happend from time to time. And I tried to go along with it.

I did not hate you but it annoyed me quite a bit you were so buddy with Empire/Scions/certain Orc (even WANTED). You were supposed to be a wise gnome dedicated to serving the Law and not Team Evil pocket healer.

Pretty much everything Nep said about sitting on a mountain of gear. I was looking for some of that crap my whole character's life, and you just say dormant with it. That sucks in a huge way.
