Well, this character had a lot of potential, the idea of making a
scion empowered by a dawn imm itself was interesting enough. I had
some of plans for this character though scions don't seem to rise any
time soon and almost all the times I was around we either didn't have
the item or had to retrieve it or had to defend it so plans were put
on hold because of never-ending fights. These constant fights were a
lot of fun especially when we decided to strike back and get someone's
item despite the number of enemies. Waves of warlocks together with
sylvans and ragers with marans not to mention uncaballed didn't stop
coming. Being wanted for quite long time in the end added occasional
tribunals to the pile.

I hoped to do some exploration but the only time I went to silent
tower (out of curiosity I went with a quiet looking woman and didn't
know how to return back - bug?) I spent 3 hours getting back through
an alternative way because I didn't want an xp hole (I was level 49 at
that time) and of course was raided. That was all of my exploration.
But it was fun nevertheless, I never played a character who'd fight so
often.

But in the end things turned different and I was basically forced to
delete by the circumstances. I won't go into details, I'll leave it as
a weight on certain immortal's conscience.

Here are my personal farewells to those who I met in my short life.

Scions: I can count the number of scion heroes with my fingers on my
hand. Dullameh, Krivohan, Dahlisyn, Dwoggurd, Yuerien. I can't believe
that cabal with three leaders has so few heroes. I don't know if it's
because of bad quality of applicants or that leaders like to pk so
much that they are busy all the time

Dullameh, Krivohan - you definitely know what you are doing. Sorry
Dullameh, I didn't interview any of the applicants that you sent to me
for recommendation. Every time someone sent me a tell that you sent
him to me, it would be in the middle of defense.

Dwoggurd, Yuerien - you both kick ass, both worth 3 warlocks in
fights. Keep it going.

Eleke - You're good too, too careful in your login time though.

Dahlisyn - saw you twice.

Zodrimauk - saw you once.

Warlocks: There were always many of you, absence of your leader
didn't help much. But even more there are good-aligned mages who don't
mind helping you to fight scions.

Thyladanieth - I already wrote about you in your delete note.

Moko - compared to you Thyladanieth was Zorszaul.

Lasella - You happened to be the only warlock around several times and
it was fun to make you feel helpless. If I had enough time, I'd raid
alone against you.

Eidoran - We fought a lot, you died a lot, heh.

Nilomasan - Perhaps you are good. We didn't fight one-on-one though so
I can't say anything else.

Ragers: You came in a big wave. I did my best to stop you from
domination in hero range, but it happened anyway. Synchronous
logins/logouts of several ragers always made me wonder...

Thralkoz - good leader, true rager.

Ooqagar, Grubbin, Lohrn, Swirrza, Sakhta, Solphia - first wave of
ragers, after you ranked into hero range, others ranked up after you
and things went only worse. The usual bandwagon stuff. With changes to
the warriors I expect more ragers to come.

Tribunal: Being flagged added some fun to my life.

Constance - Good tribunal, you even came hunting me down to the chasm
though after two deaths you weren't so brave

Gegreigar - I knew that in most solo fights against a warrior I win,
but so easily as that time in the chasm...

Riatsila - One class I couldn't do anything about was shaman. I tried
to make you stay away from the chasm so that you wouldn't at least
interfere in raids.

Marans: I don't know what's the fun to make a character that is
dressed in all glowing-humming stuff logs in once per month, raids
scions and is never seen again. This cabal really needs some
cleaning.

Tylinn - You didn't have many chances to win against me in a duel

Sylvans: You always either hid somewhere or came to raid/retrieve...
together with warlocks. Heh.

Jhaolyren, Danical - Shamans I tried to avoid the most. Healers really
aren't made to fight them them.

Alysrith - Yay, one and the only sylvan who I killed.

Targaryen - That time in the chasm you asked for being killed.

Nexus: Could of been playing another mud for all the difference you
made in the game. So much for establishing balance...

Dawn:

Sinde - it was an unpleasant surprise to meet a dawnie who fights back

Uncaballed:

Brindelbink, Paraybnha, Abravisnick - my little gnomish army. Helped
me quite a lot to fight the rising wave of ragers.

Lintronea - goodie gangs surely needed an uncaballed bard to join
them.

Skaraqueria - A conjurer with archon who I killed alone. Ha!

Mortheon - We could never finish our fights. Every time someone would
intrude so I had to leave You were the only warrior who used the
right tactics against a healer. Not that it would help you.

You were so *irritating*! Nothing is worse than a healer criminal! I was kind of hoping you'd try that business of gating to me while I was on-duty again, and had a few more things I wanted to try to see if I could getcha before you managed to gate away again. Though that was a good move the first time you tried it, the time I managed to word away from the Scion group in Shadar Logoth while while convlusing on the ground. I didn't expect they'd send the healer to gate after me to try to finish me off *wince*. I didn't expect it, and if I hadn't been a class that was able to heal myself first thing, it would have worked too.

Chasing you in the Chasm was fun, but between you and I, I didn't think for a moment I'd get a healer in all that rucckous. Managing to get Truean before my cold corpse hit the ground was good enough. I only died once though. Milhran managed to word me the first time, so close to me dying I thought I was dead for a moment, too. Paladin's luck.

Good luck with your next character!

Luck with the next. *whispers* rager!!!

It's been one fight that wouldn't not win alone. And you were raided at that time. Well sword specs tank well

Ah well. No. Not while there are many of them. When I made my healer I was afraid there will be a scion bandwagon too because Dullameh became a lich. But things turned out he didn't scare people enough . Somehow I don't feel like being a 10th rager in a group who'd spam cranial on the eastern road. Same about making good-aligned characters.

Hah. Aren't I full of surprises? I was never sure if you noticed, but I actually gave you back that mace after having stolen it the first time. I thought that tactic was a little cheap, but of course you kept coming back so eventually I had to do something with it. That time you were retrieving and we went through that cycle of me spamming circle/kick, you fleeing and healing sleeping, me healing at the healer, then repeating the whole thing was...humorous to say the least. I actually considered carrying around two non-wrathing mithril swords just<\i> for you and your annoying shield, but never got around to it. Anyway, congrats on a well played evil healer.

I noticed. But it really wasn't that precious to me so I decided to continue with retrieving. I always could get it back. You wouldn't believe how much evil-only equipment is out there on mobs and no one takes it. I think I was the only one who used the mace.

Unfortunately, work has become a greater and greater burden on my time lately, so to speak. Very soon enough it may just mean I'll have to delete, but that's a story for another time. I think also when I did play, it was usually at times you weren't on (like early morning - I know I saw you one time then). It was too bad though, while I was younger the one thing I always wanted around was a Scion healer. As far as exploring, I'd have loved to, but it always seems like we get caught up in having to fight, well, everyone, so I share that feeling with you. Anyway, good luck in the future.

I understand your frustration at the apparent idea that we came at the same time as the Warlocks. The one time that I saw warlocks about, we individually raided and got our items back. I think we got our item back first, then came the Warlocks. I actually stuck around and battered around a few of them, but there were a lot there. We never "raided" together though, we have been at war since Danical came to thera, so "together" never happens. Honestly, to a shaman of the light, its a frustrating war, one that I should still address in my role! Anyway, the only one fight we had that I liked was during that raid with you and Dwoggurd defending. You guys did a great job, I knew I would never be able to finish Dwoggurd with you protecting him.

It was fun fighting you all the time, though with the walker, it made things a bit rough some times. I'm learning more about protections, and would probably hold up better now. So you know since we're talking ooc here.... I seriously didn't set up that ambush when we were dueling before. Riatsila came runnin out and started pounding on you, the young paladin probably ratted you out to her *chuckle*.

As far as the marans being around, I would at least partially disagree. I'm around as much as I'm able (which some days is a heck of a lot), but the rest seem to have almost totally independent log on times. So you never really see more than one of us at a time sometimes. I think we do pretty good, but that's just my opinion.

Ha! I know she came by herself. I went through the eastern gate of Galadon and walked past her. I was sure she'll come so I was checking where as we fought. So I was ready to get away as soon as she came. And I couldn't waste such chance to laugh at your honestry and honor

ights against assassin were worse than against a warrior because I usually lost my weapon, but do you realize how much health I could heal in the fight? I could of kicked you to death if you stood still

I meant maran storm paladins. For some reason there is a big number of storage characters among them.

One of the most competent healer I've seen. Its always a nightmare facing you and that thing you know. Never spoked with you, just mainly fight which I hardly had a chance when I was you know. Anyway a big well done to you. Why did you delete anyway??

Ok, maybe this will help you a bit.

  • Wind wall's blinding can't be healed other than with healing sleep, that would make me stop attacking the angel at least for a while.

  • Demon mace is not cursed. Get a fumble scroll, use it, or better yet tell Eidoran to fumble me and sac the mace.

  • Acid path spells screw switching weapons too and there is a chance to lose the mace too.

  • Gel + earthbind from wand would make fleeing difficult if possible at all.

  • Troll amulet made me vulnerable fire and resist fire doesn't last long. Immolation was a good spell to use because it wouldn't let me sleep/nap.

  • Many times I'd have haste/shield/stone skin on me becides communes. You should've tried to dispel haste, better yet have slow scrolls.

  • I didn't, but many people wear valuable items made of stone. Stoneshatter them, stoneshatter against those who use stone skin.

Instead you tried to buffet, then pebble, then buffet again. If you'd try all of the above, I'd go look for an easier target.

I'm pretty sure this doesn't work on water since there's no debris to blind you with

Heh, took me a while to even realize you had that. I wanted to fight you again so I could do just this.

>Gel + earthbind from wand would make fleeing difficult

Gel isn't nearly as good as quicksand. You probably wouldn't have as hard a time fleeing as you think. Besides, you could always word or gate away.

>Troll amulet made me vulnerable fire and resist fire
>doesn't last long. Immolation was a good spell to use

Didn't even know you had that.

>Many times I'd have haste/shield/stone skin on me

Frankly, I'm not scared of a hasted healer.

>I didn't, but many people wear valuable items made of

I for one definately under-use stoneshatter I think.

Anyway, you always made for an intersting fight. Not that you yourself were much of a threat (before you got that mace at least) but you made every other Scion twice as dangerous. Can't say I'll miss that.

Mmmm posted some logs of my deaths, though I have gotten more scion than died to. You where close a few times, was obsessed by holding you there. And well I was not very afraid of you, nor any scion, but you and dwoggurd made a damm good team! Only danger you where to me was your mace. But thats how things are, it mattered if you where about, as retriving and raiding is alot harder. Well done.
