For anyone who's wondering, Alligator is a thoroughly useless form. It has a few nice qualities to it, but nothing redeeming.

Battling for 4 rounds of combat against an axe specialist and 10 rounds against an arial sword specialist -- through the majority of which he was manacled -- and not landing a hit makes it impossible to do very much.
