Aw, silly Avmenseur dying is for kids! You sir...we're a neat char, can honestly say I've never seen a fat elf before. We started off a bit shakey...but that was all in the past. Sad to see ya go! I know all about the ..gotta stop being addicted thing, but it calls you back, it calls you back!

That probably was the oddest request I'd ever gotten, to con-kill someone. Of course, you seemed determined enough about it so I thought, what the heck.
I was always a bit boggled why you talked to me whenever I was vis, considering Mayesha's and Arvam's religious ideas aren't quite compatible at all times, not to say that it wasn't fun. Shame you're dead, but I'm touched you asked me to do it. Heh.
As of what comes to immorting, hadn't I been given a chance when I applied, I probably would've kept playing as usual and tried again later to see if I had improved enough. I'll point to what Valg said, and repeat that if you feel like you could do it, go for it. It's worth it, IMHO.

Oh, darnit.
I must say -- I'm really sorry to see you go. I enjoyed the time that went spent together -- several hours, in game, really -- and will miss having you around.
I must say, though, I'm surprised by two things. First, the fact that you're dead already. And second .. 9%? You always struck me as being competent, and I'm convinced this isn't representative.
Best regards, and best of luck.

Av was very peaceful. In fact, I only picked a few fights, and died maybe...3 or four times to PK's. (A couple which were gangbang suprises that a lowbie mage just can't handle). If you note my previous character, Loranessa, you'll see a much nicer PK ratio.
Eh, anyway, you just fell off the face of the earth after you got your last rank. =(

Well, after talking with a friend I decided to try and cut CF out of my life. I've been playing for...6...7...or more years now, and though I love it, I also realize that this game is an addiction. I want to improve many things in my life, and I felt that this was the answer. However, I feel like a heel, because I couldn't go 15 minutes without starting the roller.
Trust me, deleting Avmenseur was very hard to do. I was hoping to get talked out of it, or offered some cool new twist IC...but eh, my RP for dying was too solid, and it was the only option. By the way, thank you for the hilarious death, Mayesha.
I like the new breed of Imms. Arvam, Mayesha, Grumorum, Valg. All of you guys go an extra mile to make the game enjoyable.
Also, I really didn't think my role was panning out like I had wanted. Av was almost a Baron. And, in retrospect, his role was *perfect* for a baron. I might have some derivative of it in mind for the future.
Now for a pleading question to the Imms...
Did you all reach a point where it was either "stop playing CF or move to the next level"? I seem to be at that point. I can make a hero just fine, but I want to Immort and give that a try. Having my own areas/religion is something I would absolutely dig. More importantly, did Avmenseur have what it takes to become an Imm? If not, what was lacking?

Not really.... I even had my next character in mind in case the answer was "Shoo!" or "Not yet!" I enjoy the game from both sides, and I'd have been happy to remain a player if the Big People didn't feel I was ready.
But yes, it is fun. I never got to know Avmenseur (IC, we weren't exactly a close match), but if you decide to roll up other character and hero and all that associated stuff (see the FAQ on this site), it never hurts to apply if it's something you'd enjoy doing, and are willing to work at.
