anyway man village really IS tough to play especially being new.
but you had ideals with your char and kept with it, grats on that man.
I knew from a previous char talking to you, basically got the hint you were green in the gills, and from that knew you were new, and on that, con dying, I couldnt resist I really had to give you a funeral of sorts sorry man your the best new guy seen running aroun causing havok so had to do something. cf has been in a decline for a few years, I myself been off and on then had injury and been off for a while, then back on but seein a new guy like you gives a little hope eh?

Bogba died in battle, to the buffeting of a mage, just as he wanted, outnumbered but fighting.

It would have been better if the his last counterraid was succesful, but it was not to be.

I had played a ranger to level 25 2 years ago, but this was my first character above 30, first caballed character, first battlerager, first high level cloud giant. The learning curve was very, very steep, but I definitely learned a lot and saw improvement myself. There are still a lot of things I have to learn.

In particular, I think the leadership of the 'ragers is awesome. Very well roleplayed, very skilled, and doing all the right things. I've seen a lot of complaints from players who don't see the whole story, but as far I'm concerned the Commander and the Drillmaster are the best. I'd log in with the fear that maybe you guys con died while I was at work, just because it meant I couldn't talk to your characters anymore.

Speaking of which, I apologize to all the battleragers who I left for OOC reasons in the middle of a long raid/counterraid/fight. There's no IC way I know of saying: guess what? I've only got a 1.5 hr break, and then I have to get back to work, so if raiding the Island is starting to take 2+ hrs, I'm going to have to leave. I *do* have characters who can communicate that, but Bogba is a battlerager. There's no IC way I could come with of saying that character needs to go, because Bogba would do anything to keep fighting. So I apologize for that weirdness, and I hope people realize it wasn't cowardice ICly or OOCly.

For everyone else: I loved all the battleragers, and all our interactions. You guys were all really well played, and better than me. Bogba would get annoyed when Wonza or Ouvy or others would lead him to another preventable death, but on my chair OOC I was usually laughing my ass off.

The roleplay of a berserker, always up for a fight, retreating but never running or cowering, was hard on Bogba's con. Nor was the constant looting by enemies and vultures helpful. I can't count how many times the character got full looted. It taught me how to regear a giant battlerager, though. The comrades who leveled up with Bogba: Wonza, Istilion, Bayanil, all are chewed up and spit out as well. So much for that class of battleragers I don't think there's any character who fought Bogba who could claim cowardice.

The one thing that was messed up was pincering an Imperial Blade on the eastern road with an elf, Yvalthras, in the group who also fought him. Both player and character-wise, it was a heat of battle mistake. Bogba really regretted that, and to make it up for it he returned all the belongings and fought Tragnor or whoever it was 3 times in a row in solo duels (Given the 10 level difference and the enormous eq difference, the outcome was 3 Bogba deaths). No kudos deserved for that, but just saying the best was done to atone for a sin.

I'll do goodbyes later, and I'm always interested and very grateful in non flaming comments. If there's something i did wrong, I welcome the pointing of it out, but I really don't want personal attacks, or flames or implications I wasn't doing things with the best of intentions. This game is my stress relief, eh?

I could tell you were new. I did see the "deserting your groupmates" thing somewhat, too.

What I'd suggest for your next char is that you tell yourself that you need to start "winding down" when you still have a good half-hour left to play. Start telling the leveling group you have to go soon, tell your cabalmates you won't be able to finish the raid, etc. It's always better to leave 15 minutes early (with a good satisfied feeling of "finishing up that last thing") than having to cut out immediately.

All that aside, I thought you did a good job. You stuck your nose in there, got dirty, and (I'm sure) learned a lot.

Well, I knew this was coming soon, but I'm glad you went down fighting and equally glad you enjoyed the char. Battle is not just a start up and become very successful on your first char, though some are talented enough to pull it off, most of us need a few to get into the swing of things. Glad you had fun though and hope to see you again in the village. I swear I'm way to die hard rager to not see your next creation in some way or another. Good job though, and way to hang in there. As for the leaving thing, this is just a game homie, and with jobs/promotions/changing of seasons it happens to most of us. God damit I wish I was back in college and able to pull the 15hrs a day of cf again!

I knew you were a balls-to-the-walls type, and though I enjoyed watching you fight I sometimes thought retreat-reengage tactics would sometimes have worked better for you, and caused a few less deaths.

Without knowing you I'd say you have a balls to the walls attitude and that is always an asset in my book.

That fight made my day. I know on several other occations villagers called to have you defend against me and I laughed because I knew it would never ever go down like that again once you got at or near my level, but it was amusing because I don't think we ever fought again.

I have since stopped playing and haven't had any interaction with you post-induction but that right there was funny. +1 for taking one without being an absolute idiot. Hope you play some more and give me some good logs to read.

I had no idea that was your last bit of con, but I thought it was an excellent way for a Rager to go out. You toned down towards the end of your life, with your frequent log in and out sessions, but for the earlier part of it I thought you did a great job, especially for someone who seemed pretty new to the game. Good job on sticking it out, and I'm sure you learnt a thing or two in the process.

Well for a first attempt at a 'zerker you should be happy.
You went from being constant fodder for semi-skilled pk'ers to making them have to work to win, hell you even pulled off a few upsets!

Sometimes it was painfully obvious that you were new, but that in itself doesn't preclude you from Ysalovin, although I got the feeling I left you speechless a couple of times. You played a good villager, a good zerker and you learned along the way. I expect to see you back.

Great job for a first high level character.. Will be fun to see what the next one is.

its been a little crazy over here but I gotta tell you I loved logging in and seein ya on. We had alot of fun bashing though #### and it was always fun to have you around. Thank you very much for what you said about myself and I am sure brink is gratefull too. Alot of people give us alot of #### on "that other forum" cus they dont see the whole picture or because there just pissy in general so its great to hear some positive feed back. I hope you enjoyed this char as much as we (the village) enjoyed having you around.
