Well this was fun.

My first char to reach hero status. Only done one or two atemts at Carrion before. But couldnt quite bend myself away from my old mud.
This time I realy got into it and had alot of fun.

Thanks everyone at the fort for helping me out and teaching me the do and donts.

I hope I'll have as much fun on my next charecter.

Personally, I have con-died a metric tonne of characters. I have on the converse never understood someone who throws away a role and hours invested if they drop down to a few notches below full con.

Anyways...Adorath was good and I kind of didnt know you were that close to death when I Acolyted you so Im glad you got a bit of time in the position. Hope you had fun, and the little poke in the ribs at the end there was just to get some fire in you. I can understand if you were hurting and didnt want to walk into a death...especially that close.

Cool way to go out. Good char. Good luck with the next.

Corrlaan followers are NICE. With a capital NICE!

Just kidding.

I just lose it for people who are a ghost every time I see them. After a while, they can do little to impress me. It's hard to be in awe of someone who does that.

Example. Boca. I loved that guy, but i was constantly frustrated by his suicidal behavior, no matter what side I was on. I just felt sorry for him when ever I saw him nothing he could do would make me think, uh-oh! Danger! As a result, a fun character to be around, died off.

I have the most respect for people who age die (Insert favorite Arial Bard), again, something I've never done.

Any way this is becomming a hi-jacking so I'll sign off.

hehe I have an image of the fortress at the moment as the roaches from the raid commercials. Ado was cool, liked him quite a bit.
3 cheers for the con death! I'm really feeling pleased with so many fortress folk con dying instead of deleting... makes me feel all warm and bloodthirsty inside.

It's just how I feel about a character of mine when he loses a handful of CON.

I'm the exact opposite.

Whenever I watch myself type "delete delet ..." I feel like a complete quitter. The guy who starts whining when his team is down 28-7 in the 3rd quarter. By nature, I'm just too competitive to give up and quit, so I never end up typing the final "e".

Never give up! Never surrender!

I fight to the bitter end as well.

But for me the game ends when it's over. I set my sights high on a lot of things I do, and I expect perfection.

For me each Character is a different chapter in my CF story. Some are better than others, but, for me, they quickly lose their luster.

I guess I see it less like you do. I see it as losing 28 games and 7 wins. Each character isn't the game for me. Each fight is.
