Well, I had a lot of fun with this character. Gakken started as a
lowbie PKer so I could show my friend a little about the game
and how to PK. I never had much intention of making something
out of him, but this game never lets you do what You plan. So
I hooked up with a bunch of scion apps when I was a lowbie,
and getting in wasn't hard, I just had to clear my range
to impress the Imms. Pretty soon Pre-level 40 I'm titled
and tatted soon thereafter. I finally got to a point where
the character was too stressful to log on, and if I had an
hour here or there I couldn't take it because it would seem
like I couldn't get off, or that an hour wasn't much quality
time to put into him. My internet dropped a couple times when I
had him, and this last time I decided it was time to go instead
of holding onto a character I couldn't possibly keep up with anymore

IC, this character was a blast. I can't recall many more characters
where I had many more enemies. It was a constant challenge to live
and pick people off, usually I'd be playing alone or at least
walking alone against 5 or more marans, plus other enemies
It's nice to see the fortress strong and putting up a fight. Most
other evils I've played usually just plowed through fortress
hordes, this time it didn't seem to go so easily.

Fire Giant Thoughts: Plenty balanced. I never did master flurry,
which I really wanted to. Balance was good with Whips/Flails, as I expected it would be, And I didn't like cry of thunder, mostly because warcries are long and I don't use any sort of triggers, so
something like chilling would have been better for me. Prepping was
VERY hard, a downside to playing warrior classes for me. I can find about eight different haste potions, and I could almost never find haste, I had to horde them, which isn't easy at all with Giant dex.
People who can do that get huge props for me, because it just isn't
for me. Give me wands any day.

Goodbyes - Imms -

Eshval- Giants don't really understand art, but Gakken tried to make
lots of it for you with action. Hope you enjoyed watching me, I tried to be a Granaak/Kalraak/Kamandee people that stirred up trouble in the game, which a Good fire giant will do. Wish I'd interacted with you more, you are a cool Imm

Lyristeon- Thanks for the tat, this is the first one I've had in like
seven years of playing. Made my role come to life and Gakken learned
a lot about himself from you. Which translated into me learning a lot
about RPing in General with this char and what to look for when writing future roles.

Anubris - Gakken liked you, we always seemed to have something to
tear up together. Hope you learned a lot from me. Keep trucking

Judaao- Heard you lost it or something. I thought you were gonna be the next chancellor. Good luck with whatever you do

Akscerah- Gakken liked you because you liked him. Always had my back
or grabbing me stuff when I was dead. Good RP too

Restraal- I really, really wanted you to stay. If I'd had like 8 more ranks when you did, maybe you wouldn't have deleted. We woulda made
a good team when I finally turned beastly.

Treyis- And then I really wanted you to be my Restraal. But, I hardly
ever saw you then we were both gone.

Runa- Good Luck, I liked your muterness.

Fortress
Iramath- You handed me my ass constantly. I was dying to stay alive
long enough to get enough + STR to prep out the ass and kill you,
but it never happened. Good Job on being a nasty elf.

Icthaen- Not quite Iramath, but almost. Also deadly and gave me problems.

Healers- Liked Rilliana the most. Others just annoyed me. Hoped you
liked my gate trick Llyria. I noticed I never saw another one

Battle-
Kjelror- We fought a lot. I won some, I lost some. Post some of me winning if you got any. I don't log much

Vershelt- Another person I wanted to kill. Ran you off before but
I never finished you. Beastly, Good Job

Granaak IC, did not mind being the main warrior (only most of the time) in Scion

Me OOC: I was desparate for another competent warrior to rank up, anything, or anyone! and I pegged you for that person.

When I finally had a few in game hours to spare I asked around to some midbie's about whom they knew about..and you were right up there on the list...being feared is a good thing for a scion warrior. Plus I gave you one of my two weavers so you had to know I at least liked you a little bit =)

If I could of had scion members from any point in my lifetime active at the same time, you would have definetly been on that list.

Anyway this is a very long way of saying great job and I wish we could have run together and I wish I had chosen whip over mace.

I liked gakken you caught me with my pants down a few times where i payed for it incredibly. You weren't afraid to fight a thirsting cloud berserker, and because of that you waited fights out longer than most, and some of those fights worked out well in your favor. U did well man, btw i interacted with queesha on a past char of mine, liked that one too. all i can tell you is that we were killing the lobster a long time ago, i was in a certain cabal, and ran out of seaweed and you tried buffeting me out, see if you can remember . anyways well played and good luck with your next zerker. heh.

Good job. I enjoyed watching you hunt and doing some incredibly brave things. More times than not you overcame some lousy odds. And that's what the game is about. If you are going to log on, you need to play to get the props/tattoo/immteraction. Your rp really did pick up after that first meeting and that is a big issue with me. Good luck with the next.
