Man I spent alot of time with you with Kribli. Easily more then anyone else, as I knew we would always have fun and you were competant.
You may never have had a role but you had a definate personality all for Kareza, just sitting and talking in the holy grove was always fun. And who could forget the druid/ranger traps we would set for people, and my being killed by Srkytryn (sp) nearly every time I log on.

Anyway, thanks for the memories.

You were Kareza's best friend in the Grove thru-out
his entire life. And it sucked bad that you deleted so
soon, I had really wanted Kribli to be around when the
village war broke out ..

Sometimes having too high ambitions, or failing ones
ambitions can kill the character. There was no chance
this could happen to Kareza, since he was a no-role,
freefrom improvise character.

If you desire get back into the game, such a char
can be one way to do that. Anyway, Hope I meet a little
gnome again and make him my best friend

500 hours is enough. I actually age died at 470 hours, but
continued living, wheter this was the work of the Gods or
a bug, I have no idea.

I had much fun playing "Kareza", and despite having no role, and
no "concept" of a character when starting out at rank 1, I think
he turned out succesfull. I learned a bunch of the world of Thera, I rarely was attacked when not prepared, was succesfull in most of my fights and the ones where I wasnt I quaffed out and got away. Close to the end though I had a stream of bad luck,
and I didnt feel like re gearing no more since I technically
could age die any minute.

Thanks for every single one I interacted with, friends as well
as foes.

Jugynheim, sorry about not completing the quest. I had all the
items except the rough mushroom, and I just not could find it. I even went to such un-conventional means, as to ask in OOC forums, but alas no luck. I reasoned that the price I had the
chance to "win" from the quest was a title change. I got that
change on my own by much exploration of "Whistlewood". If the quest price included the chance of becomming Lieutenant, well then it's just too bad I never found that rough mushroom

This was second sylvan felar ranger, and my fifth character in total. Before "kareza" I had not played for 11 months becus of
work, work and work. I think I will take another break now, and
you can all expect me back somewhere around September/October
2002.

Thank you, and thanks to the IMM's who created such a very
fascinating game, which for some unknown reason makes me
keep comming back, with 11 months interval's.

Our trip into Kiadana was great. We were so very damn
close to death once in there, but came out victorious

Going in there and getting my hands on the "burning spear"
was one of my top goals with Kareza, and I did that with you,
just too bad the spear crumbled shortly after.

I am very unsure how to get a no_drop, no_rem and rot_death
weapon from a mob, hehe. I wonder if it can be done at all.

Take care and go for Lieutenant. Before I recieved my quest
from Jugynheim I had told him I would accept position as
Lieutenant if offered, and I was hoping I'd get the chance
when I got the quest. But after 500 hours, my time was just used
up.

Never got to interact with your charactor..because I could never see you (with my other charactors). Get out of the forest for your nect charactor. Try a drow! Or a conjurer! Just see what its like on the other side of the sylvan hunters. *hehe*

Yeah! Hehe, well all it took was a +8 onyx-bladed spear
and a +50 damroll from gear.

Well, "kareza" was my second felar sylvan ranger in a row, heh so I think I completely forgotten what its like outside the woods

I did actually think about a drow dagger spec warrior. But then
I thought about all the wilderness area I would be ranking in,
and I prompty dropped the idea! Hehe.

No, I am in for a good long break from CF. When I return chances
are good that it will be in the form of a sylvan cloud ranger.

Gotta agree, your ambushes were about 5x more fatal than any other - for some reason i could never land a single blow on you and you managed to chew me up with the spear even when i was wielding sword and shield and had full knowledge of spears..really annoyed me that an assassin couldn't last 5 rounds..

Reason you got your ass handed the two or three times
we fought was simply becus of gear .. As a sylvan
ranger (atleast back when the old powers was still
active) the cabal itself provided much for its
members. That combined with the ability to almost never die
(I had 3 PK death's from rank 1 to 100 hours into hero),
makes a formidable set of gear over time. I tried to get
as much + dam as possible while retaining atleast +10 str
from gear as well. Before I went into combat I ate a yellow
root which granted +5 more str points.

When I infact did begin to die, and loose gear Jugynheim was
always there to help me regear. He also ranked me and two other sylvans straight for 3½ hours to make the last ranks to hero.

Words cant begin to describe the work Jugynheim put into
helping me and the other warders, and the cabal as a whole.

Heh, about the spear, onyx-bladed is so easy to get that
you can stack 3 of them in 30 mins, alone. It was by
far my all time favourite weapon, easy to get, avrg 25 +4,
pretty light 12 pounds, and it accepts enchantment
easily. Mine was usually enchanted 4 times making it
+8 but if you had the time (and spears) it could go up to
+10.

I also found out, and this is something I thought about a lot
and tested over and over .. Spear seems to be doing more
damage when used in an ambush, than sword or staff does. And
this had nothing to do with vulns or so, spear just tore
them up worse than sword, and much worse than staff. I am not
sure about how axe compares.


BTW, reason I jumped Khrun was really that I was so
pissed off about being assassinated by Padgett in Past,
which was my second PK death, that I IC decided to
no more allow any evil assassin's into Past.

eheh , no, they were far from my proudest moments...i just kept coming back just so i could get a shot at you (any other ranger i could chew up)

(i wasn't in battle at the time and nearly stopped applying because one of the times i despaired at the utter incompetence of my 2 group mates )

Overall a decent enough character. I thought you did a good job, both in the general goals of Sylvan and in the war, you certainly put the time in, and you grew as a character. I could see more and more of a role peeking through, and I liked it, but the development was so slow that I didn't really think of you as leadership material. I went ahead and gave you the title change because I thought you had earned it anyhow, regardless of the quest, and I didn't want you to accidently age death with the Whiney Explorer title. I had a nice title that I was going to give you if you finished the quest though. Good luck with the next character and whatever else you do in the intervening 11 months.
