At 7 o'clock PM, Day of the Moon, 14th of the Month of the Grand Struggle
on the Theran calendar Malzhaalohn perished, never to return.

Even if I did Farg up all the chances I got...boy was that frustrating to step on my own #### all the time...as the saying goes.


This was my attempt at liching. Didn't do very well at it.

This was my first necro who was over rank 36. And the last necro I played....was back before manifest shadow and such went in...back in the glory days of the old empire/old arbiter/Barons of Chaos.


Boy did I make alot of mistakes. A veritable AVALANCHE of mob-deaths because I just didn't realize my limits. Alot of pk deaths because of a lack of knowledge of anything but 2 shield wands. Alot of deaths because I *HATED* gathering an army.

Just so you know, Wraithform + armor of living bone + shield...was almost un-noticable from just wraithform. If I got MASSACRE'd one way. I 'd get MASSACRE'd the other, it seemed.

I had a whole bunch of fun in the run up to, and during, my time as Provost. But...damnit. I messed up. After that, my fun waned.

Sure, I probably could have ground out enough to MAYBE get a lich quest. But the number of hours it would probably take...hours that were becoming increasingly un-fun, were wearing on me.

Combined with some real life stuff at the end of last year that almost made me auto....I kindof lost my way.

I loved being Malzh.

And for those who didn't get it....Malzh hated you all. Every. Single. One.

He had nothing but loathing and contempt for all of you. He lied freely and often, probably everything he ever talked about containted some level of a lie in it.

But, he was smart enough to know that if he showed his contempt, others would hate him back. And people that hate you aren't as useful in some ways...aren't as easily manipulated in some ways...as people who think they are your allies.


I recently got enough money, so I will be paying for the PBF. I mentioned alot of others in my role...and what I really thought of you there, so instead of copying that and continueing my post there....if you are wondering what Malzh was really up to when talking with you....read his role. *smile*

Thanks for all of you who helped me rank. I never thought I would be able to get to 47 with a necro....but it happened, much to my suprise.

Thank you goes to Grurk. Great religion. ooc, there were times I had kinda wished I was able to go out hunting with a bard or a thief or a bashing warrior like some other necros out there...but dealing with the restrictions of your religion sure made things fun....if less deathful. And since I am someone who doesn't need to get pk#1 to be happy as long as I'm having fun....I really was grateful for your attention. Although that one session we had in Ysigrath sure suprised the heck out of me...in a good way.

Finding a place to pray to you that fit both your religion and my role was hard. I hope you liked the altar of embalmed flesh I would build for you.

The Plan...was to do everything I could to hide his hatred for everyone not himself...until lichdom at least....then let loose with it.

I was afraid that it was overly obvious that my "affability" was a sham, and that everyone knew that Malzh really wasn't like that.

I do not know if you recall but once when we were in our 20s or 30s we met up in Ysigrath. It was a definite balls to the wall fight for both of us and while I won in the end it was certainly a very close thing. Your blindness really cost me as I was pre-induction and so could not cure it, letting you come back and get everything. Ha!

Anyway, we had few interactions otherwise so I can't comment on much else, but that fight has stuck in my mind ever since. I hope you enjoyed it too, despite dying.

It was one of my first "hard" fights with a Necro.

At that time, it had been YEARS since I had had to fight a hard pk with a necro...and, looking back...I did ALOT of things wrong. If I had done one or two things differntly, I would have won.

It was an exciting fight, and it certainly tought me "what not to do"...so it was helpful for that.

Here it is.

The other two were Zachaury and Salsipuedes. All the stooges were uninducted from the Provost spot.

Zachaury was the big brother-provost who would guide magistrates and brought the 'let's try to guard the cities together' mentality, which made Tribunal seem like a family.

Malzhaalohn was power-hungry and calculating (clearly made me feel that the provost was evil that time), yet a strong leader. But a necro didn't seem like a guy you would bring all your worries to. Malzhaalohn took the induction duties to himself, removing the recommendation system, which is something I like to see from a provost. He was affable and got well along with Agantas.

I don't have much good or bad things to say about Salsipuedes as a provost, but that is only fitting for a neutral char.

But well, I liked Uak Bbohta (pretty good last name you made up too). Good luck with your next.

You're words about Malzh in the provost spot were exactly what I was trying for, so thank you much for that.

For those who didn't know....how I messed up...

Every time I summoned a rager to that room, they would attack me. I loved it.

So, I summoned one, and had "vamp" cued up with my hand hovering over the enter button for him to attack....

Well, He emoted or something ...and my reflexes hit the button before my Neurons could register that he had *NOT* attacked me.

Doh. Knew I was going to get uninducted. Damn. Not a day goes by that I don't wonder what would have happened if I had not done that and had stayed provost.

As for my last name, it's kindof funny.

In his native language, it's quite a bad thing to be called, and he was called it. It was his own private joke...he took something so bad, and made people use it with respect. He chuckled inwardly every time he heard "Provnicial Uak Bbohta" or "Provincial Uak Bbohta".

Again, that stuff is explained in my role, I've paid for PBF so whenever it get's posted it will be there.

Agantas was one of the people that Malzh had hoped to use for his "purposes" later on...if things went right for him. Alas, it as not to be.

I have this intuition that tells me when people don't like me. I could tell Malzhaalohn was a complete and utter hypocrite. So Lyra hated Malzhaalohn. I liked the sound of Uak Bbohta which sounded guttural and ugly, so I made it a point to call Malzhaalohn 'Mr Uak Bbohta' which was actually meant in a contemptuous voice.

Enjoyed that time killing Uak Bbohta in the city (and Veztel too) as a criminal. Just felt VERY fuzzy after that. Uak Bbohta was just a stinking political two-faced hateful bitchy necromancer =) Well done on that I think.
