I wasn't the one bragging about killing you, and I wouldn't have until you started swearing up a storm, and bringing everything totally out of text. I really don't know if you were speaking about me with that accent thing, but this is one of the first times that I have tried it, and I rather like the way my char has progressed. And honestly, you did win a few of the battles that we had, but you never killed me, and I killed you even with everyone saying that sylvan has lost all it's important pking powers, but that is another topic, and another time. I wish you good luck on your next endeavor, even if you still have some cooped up feelings that require swearing at the top of your lungs and making up hideous opsenities.

This isn't the forum for discussing ways to do quests, especially ways that are against the rules. If you want to provide alternative solutions to quests, suggest them to the area author privately.

I'm not trying to be spiteful or anything, and I probably will email Sacer and all...

but the point/question still stands, why is what he did so horrible now, when its been done in the past by imms and other chars of higher standing?

I never really have a problem with your char, I thought you were alright for a evil guy. You full looted me everytime you got your chance, even if I had a pants and shirt that has no armor - points to sash and whatever. Last time you killed me was in the inn. You stole my wedding BAND LOL!!!!!!!!!

anyway have fun with your next char. See you in the fields

I never full looted you, the people around you did. And that last time I killed you you kept asking why I did, and while in the game wouldn't go totally ooc, so here it is. It's a PK mud, meaning people kill each other. I was a Scion...you weren't. I felt like killing someone, you were there.

Well, another hero down, although this particular one I pretty much detested for awhile, just wasn't what I wanted. I did try to stick it out a bit, but after daemelin I think this one was either just too much of a disappointment, or I just had enough of shifters for awhile. Either way, just decided to delete. Did stay around long enough for a trip to Hell, although did not go as well as I wanted, was still interesting seeing the difference between the armadillo and mongoose down there. Alright then, on to the farewells.

Goodies...
Marans, dwanies, warlocks, all the same to me. Not to be...eh, arrogant suppose, but none of you were overly impresive. The paladins were bs, hiding in that little niche were heroes can't touch them. Still the same problem with the assassins as the last time...just can't do much to them unless I somehow catch them offguard, and even then likely to pound me into the dirt. That's ok though, got something coming up for you guys. The rest of you...*shrug*

Sylvan...
There any of you even left? Suilvanum, yes, you did kill me, and you can keep bragging about it, but you had a healer, and I chased him away then you til you herbed, and then not even an hour later I stomped you into the ground. If I knew more of you I might say more, but that whole hiding in the bushes thing makes knowing names a bit difficult.

Tribunal...
Everyone of you I ever met, ever spoke to, ever had any interaction with, were incompetent. You guys are more corrupt then the damn barons, and certainly less useful. What happened to all the arbiters? Even they were better. That day I went a little unhinged was a joke. Me fighting three heroes and their guards, plus the guards of some other tribunal just out of reach, and sure, you killed me a few times...but I killed as well when quite frankly, shouldn't have killed anyone. Astein, maybe you should take over inductions or something, do recruiting, bonus plans, something. Seems the law enforcers are always a bit...weak.

Nexans...
Who?

Scarabs...
See above...

Barons...
Didn't know any really, and never really wanted to. Never have liked barons, seems they all try to overplay everything and they just come out sounding like they just got hit in the head with a bat...repeatedly.

Battle...
Hralleth, Goapa, Manarei...what a joke. Not even a funny one either.

Scions...
God, from daemelin and lokilith to a slue of shifters, think that helped in me deleting too. I few of the heroes I think were somewhat new to CF, although for the most part they did decently. A couple people were beyond useless and should have not only been removed from the scions, but the game as well. Jerraric is a good example. Still too much internal bs and not enough of a united front. I gave two rituals the whole time I was a scion, which overall wasn't too long. Loerec, I'm sure you're a newbie, and had I been a bit more awake I would not have given you the ritual, but at the time I just said what the hell. Iillien, Halisstra...decent enough job. Not going to blow sunshine up your asses, there have been better, but there has definately been worse. Halisstra, even tho you're playing a drow, lighten up a bit, seemed a bit...aloof...to me. Iillien...what the hell is with the whole food thing? Everytime I try to get inducted by you always with the food. You not get enough at home? Deuras, hell of a thing sticking in there, especially with those damn paladins around. Not bad at all. Korezxemp, Lhogram...only other two shifters I really knew besides Iillien, pretty good job, Lhogram...what can I say, you got screwed on your forms. Karnavex, Brotmin...well, Karnavex I knew you as daemelin, brotmin I think was coming up in the ranks at the time. Would think people that have the pretty titles would show up a bit more. Mmm...if I forgot sorry, and to all you heroes that show up once every two weeks, delete or play, but choose.

Immortals...
Well, started with a RP plan in mind, but along the way I had alot of bad days having to do with court, work and women, three things that can ruin any day. Didn't speak to a one of you. Would like to say one thing, whoever transfered me to grazzur'ukal when I was collecting seeds in Hell, absolutely uncalled for, and still, not a single word spoken to me. Things like that sometimes make me want to slap you people. Otherwise, you guys are still doing a damn good job...although I miss the CF I started playing seven years ago sometimes. Think there's a certain point where reality should be left behind.

Well, that's it, on to the next character.

Stop the World! Let me off this crazy ball!

Thats pretty harsh. I never saw a bad flag against you, never *DIED* to you, and killed you five times. If that is incompetency, then what the hell are you? Are you just trying to sound like an ass? You never once gave me a chance, the first time I saw you was when you were coming after me because 'tribunals are morons, and I'll kill you all'. The roleplay afterwards was great as well *snort*. And what was with full looting and sacrificing everything from everyones corpse? You're right, your character was a dissapointment, to me anyway.

Well,
what can I say. Other than that i got shafted in the goodbyes...but thats ok. I was very sorry as a char to see you go, but honestly happy as a player. I think you do a good job, when you do it. How long did you stick out Daemalin or however you spelled it? Its a regular occurence now that shifters delete if they don't get what they wanted. I can't remember the other guy's name that did it, but heroed in like a few days as a hero tranny. When he heroed he didn't even have shift mastered, so he was casting it. Granted, he mastered it afterward, but still, you can just tell the char isn't in it for the roleplay, just to rank up and "see what I get." I give huge props to Iillien, of all the people that got shafted, I think he got it worse than anyone. Alligator/Shark combo...weak as all get out. He gets beat severely by paladins. Oh well, thats why he wants me in the high ranks and I accept that, but he is "sticking it out." This was meant to offend a little, but more to make people think. Maybe you could have gotten a quest form. I sure think Iillien should get one, he will deserve it if he keeps at it.

Sorry, didn't mean to leave you out. As for how long did I stick out deamelin, he con died, somewhere in the 400+hours. Deleting deamal wasn't just about forms, that was just a part. Of all the major forms, dillo is the one I dislike the most. It's a walking rock, you can beat on it all day and it won't feel much, but on the other hand it won't hit back. Panther is pretty decent. This particular character I wasn't having much fun with back at like the 25th rank when I was going to delete him first, but I decided to "stick it out" so to speak on the off chance I might actually grow to enjoy him. Didn't. Another factor, do scions really need another shifter hero?

....O.k umm... I was the only tribunal that didn't kick your ass. Does that mean the spire is weak? No. Does that make me an incomptetant tribunal? Well maybe...but did you ever kill me while I was on duty? NO. Did i kill you while I was on duty? Yes, so think about it. I know I don't play my shaman like a shaman can be played...I know I am supposed to whoop your ass but why does it bother you so much that I dont? And The other two heroes that are on consistantly hand out asses all night long...the spire is damn tough right now so stop talkin out of your ass.

You seem to have the Jhyrb disease.... Its such a waste of your time to rank a char up and whoop on us....I just don't get it and I hope I never will-I'd rather stay at my current skill level than have your attitude.

you.
you of all people, are among the list.
The only times you are on duty.. is when you word away after raiding the chasm.
what kind of lawman is that?
you raided the chasm with meushen, who was a criminal at the time.
what kind of lawman is that?
he isnt speaking primarily of your pking ability. i am sure you rot and wrath away when you can, or rot/plague energy drain away. best ways to do it for a shaman.. eventually they will end up dying sooner or later.. if not.. then keep away for a bit and try again.
he is speaking of your lawman ability.
raid/word to safety.
leave city for clothing, anyone speaks to you, you are off duty.
word, heal up.
raid/word to safety.
that is what he is speaking of.

I'd like to see me in a log with any rager. You are either misinformed or flat out lying. The only time I've ever been assisted by a rager is when goapa poulticed me while being ganged outside the east gate by two scion-and I have NEVER been assisted by a criminal though I've had offers. I've never faught you, nor have I ever been to the chasm with you logged on. I've never been to the chasm with Deamal logged in either. As for my ability and time spent on duty-I spend many hours sitting in town on duty. Do I word home when I'm getting my ass beat outside of town? Oh hell yeah I do-whats the problem?

As for anything that happened last night before 6:30pm west coast time, if Gorgan was logged in it wasn't me. I asked an Imm to check if I had been on and changed my pword but they haven't gotten back to me yet. I logged in with a bracelet that I didn't have when I logged off and people are bitching at me about fights/flags that happened while I was at work.

I didn't get a lot of interaction with you this time around but just as before I thought you to be skilled. I respect game knowledge alot, and you had that in abundance. Our lack of interaction would be more from differing playing times, and not my lack of showing. I play about 2-3 hours a night three or four nights a week between 8pm till 2am. Except for some work related breaks that kept me away that has been a pretty consistant thing for some time. Work, wife, life keep me from age dying in a month or binge playing but I think that is resonable. Without trying to sound like a smartass how many hours a week do you think is resonable for a titled character?

Mmm...for a titled character, or a leader, chancellor or the equivelant, I'd say you're right about there. From your note it's 6-12 hours a week you play...I'd say about 10 or so would be good, enough to keep a presence. And true, this character I wasn't around overly much at night, mostly having to do with work. I do remember with deamelin we saw each other a lot more, just this time around we didn't, wasn't sure if you played less or we missed each other more.

Ok, not to pick on you specifically Kay, but what is with everyone and their speech? Does the english language not get mangled enough all day long across the world and you have to add to it? For all you giants, dwarfs and any other race you play as if they were dropped as a baby, type 'score'. Does it say average or 15? Alright, do you consider yourself as a person of 'average' intelligence? Do you drool on yourself? Then why the hell does every dwarf, giant and villager talk as if their intelligence should be a 5 instead of 15? Just wondering...and if anyone feels the need to reply to this, what say you take the knot out of your tongue first?

Because trying to talk with an accent puts you in the mood for Roleplaying. Why not?

In return, I'd like to suggest to you to take a look at the complimentary nature of Kay's post, and your insulting reply, and think of it as a perfect picture of your general attitude. I think not being able to say a single complimentary thing about your cabal's enemies says more about you than about your enemies. Better luck with your next.

yup. I have to say I am one incompetant invoker, but losing connection during raids isn't helping much either. (I lagged so badly last time I ended up sinking into my own quicksand and only reconnected in time to have one chance at fleeing.)

If anyone levels charges of incompetance against this character, they're probably right, but I've managed every other class fairly successfully.

However, one thing I think Daemelin/Deamal has overlooked is that warlocks, for example, have a little less discretion than scions in when they choose to defend. And warlock powers don't exactly help much against a shifter with even an ounce of common sense.

Well, I don't play my int 16 character as stupid, but he does have bad speech. Why? Because for almost his entire life he had no one to speak to etc, so no one ever taught him the proper use of language.

However, unless you asked my character about his/her speech, you would have little way of knowing this, especially after only on or two interactions, and would put it down to "the stupid giant syndrome". (not to be taken as implying that I am a giant)

I just wanted to say, I've known tons of people who are extremely intelligent who speak in nothing but slang. Speech patterns are more a sign of where and how someone grew up then their intelligence level. Add to the fact that in Thera the common a duergar or orc speaks probably isn't their native language. I've played a fire giant that had a well rounded vocabulary, ala Trillox, but it's not as much fun. Besides playing a dwarf without a scottish accent just wouldn't be fun
I think you need a break from Transmuters, Try a Scion Conjurer, there hasn't been a decent one in a long time.

I'm all for trying to roleplay and different accents definitely give characters some uniqueness. I'll be honest, however, in saying that some people take it to the extreme. Frankly, I don't care to waste my time trying to decipher what it is someone is trying to say to me. It's both tedious and boring.

The problem is, a lot of applicants to Sylvan spoke this way and it was not my character's role to turn them away based on speech. Often, I did anyway. I bet it sucked for the applicant to have to go find another Warder to talk to, but I'm here to have fun too.
