Optomkiptum, though unfortunately lacking a sex drive, adored you for the art you provided him with.
I suggest Carrionfields upgrades all their Svirfs to Svirfelite 4.5, as the new model does include a sex drive. Plus a free membership to the Stonemasons guild.
Frankly, being on duty was the most boring thing at times and you inspired Optomkiptum as well as entertained. I even attempted doing some drawings on parchment for Phaelim but it never panned out as I couldn't possibly compare to your quality
Thanks, do more!

Its something I'd been putting off for a while and unfortunately I decided to do it rushedly in the middle of Lemath age dying.
I would have loved to sit around and say goodbye but I know what would have happened - it would have been a mess. I apologise for the rash way in which I did it but thats that.
Optomkiptum, like my other characters, was just a bit of myself I put into a role and acted out. My sense of humour combined with a bit of grumpyness is how I'd describe him. I didn't even think about his race and class much, I just decided I'd like a svirfnebli mage and that conjurers or invokers are too much effort. And there. I created him several months ago and almost instantly fell in love.
My main aims were to play out a svirf the way I thought a svirf should be. They're wise, small, ancient creatures with a secretive manner to themselves and deep, deep voices. I gave him repetative actions like the 'hrm, hrm' noise he always made and a slight misuse of the word 'Demand' to give him a foreign edge. I even gave him a mildly fanatical like for Mushrooms that just made him feel 'oh so rounded'. I fell so in love with the character, that when Muslhinay introduced me to Phaelim's religion I even started writing out whole books in my spare time at work just to add to his collection. Unfortunately, I had my exams in may and had to study/take time out. What happened next was more painful that deleting. I began to lose the character, mainly because of stress in RL I lost my sense of humour somewhat. Playing Optomkiptum then became more of a chore than a joy as I found it hard to put myself in his mindset for playing. So, I left him, hoping to return. Unfortunately I've already started out on other characters in the hope I can find something as enjoyable to play as Optomkiptum. If I thought it were possible, I would have gotten back into him and made my big comeback. Unfortately, I just couldn't find it inside me. I apologise for that too.
Well, to end on a happier note: Here are all my goodbyes that I remember!!!
I demand we begin!
Immortals: Because you guys are so big.
Velkurah: Brilliant. Your a kind and devoted imm, and I have to thank you for everything you did. Being scared of you was hard to act out at first, so I just found a way to give up. It was nice to learn a bit about Ki-rin history - I didn't know you guys came from eggs Please, keep up the commitment to the Tribunal. You've helped along some brilliant characters. The interactions I *suspect* were you were fun. I loved that one time the city was on fire and you acted out the guards. Perfect timing.
You say 'I demand you can get off-duty early, good work!
A special guard cheers and sings... he is just BURSTING with joy!
nofollow -------------------------------------------------- The cook yells 'Ah, Mushroom soup!'
Phaelim: Another brilliant immortal. Sadly, I couldn't return to preach your religion but from vague gatherings I am having trouble seeing many followers. Who knows, maybe I'll follow you one day but I think right now your religion is under appreciated. The amount it made me think RL was great fun, thinking out all these philosophical points. I'd love to say the slow way I took it was Rping a slow-learning svirf but it wasn't I did write about 4-5 more books but never got a chance to publish them. I'm sorry I couldn't commit more.
Lyristeon: Royal pain in the butt I know you love teasing Tribunals and Optomkiptum was particularly easy to annoy. He had a hate for chaotic mages (through a great talk with Phaelim on history - cheers!) and you seemed to fit his hate perfectly. Unfortunately, Optomkiptum was terrified of immortals and ran like hell whenever you appeared. You seemed to do it at points just to scare him!!! Thanks for the dreams, keep it up.
Grurk: You were an awsome vindicator. Little + large combo! Well done on immorting and have a great time. What ever happened to my desk?
And so, it was told: The Grurkicator did much Grurkicating. And in time, lo, it was good. He was rewarded with mushrooms and little statues made in his image. It was a time of great rejoicing and shall always be remembered as so.
Jinroh: Pffft, bully. As much as I hated getting chased about and smacked by you - well done. Unfortunately, my class was just not designed to handle ragers and I did get pounded upon often. Did you really have to embarass me by chasing me about town for HOURS? Sheesh... respect for immorting though. Well done.
Tribunals:
Lemath: What can I say, you started out as a quite, moderately Rped shifter that just seemed to have a warm edge I adored. Turned out you were the best apprentice I could ever have chosen. After Agarah left, Velkurah approached me for an opinion on who should next lead the Spire. He may have had you in mind already, but I went through all the provincials and gave him reasons not to promote them just encase. After that and a little shouting from me to encourage better paperwork, you bloomed. Everything you got - you earned. It really pained me to have to give up, but when I saw your death I just couldn't stand it. I'd call it a rage delete. Good luck in the future, I hope you roll up a svirf.
Lochzan: You were as commited as Lemath was in your role. I can't believe I was lucky enough to see so many commited players in the Tribunal in my life time. I loved the dark paladin thing but alas I couldn't like the character IC - the slavery thing. I tried to help you a bit in what ways I could allow myself but at times it was painful to see you beaten up. Hope you did a fair bit of beating while I wasn't looking - they should have given you some amazing power to make up for your losses. You earned power word kill in your life time!
Baendra: Great stuff. A good alround necromancer, Tribunal and philosopher. Thanks for the help on the Phaelim stuff and the jokes. You weren't quite as evil as I thought a necromancer should be, a bit submissive, but other than that it was perfection all through. Besides, thats just my opinion. Obviously everyone else thought it was perfect. You bring up some good characters with my level of devotion to detail and I hope you continue to do so. Sorry you didn't lich and sorry I wasn't there to pay back all the favours by helping you. Good luck.
A zombie is here... eating something. A zombie is here... eating something. A zombie is here... eating something.
cb I demand there not be Zombies in my halls!!! cb Ack?! My paperwork!
Odrirg: You grumbly, little dwarf you. Your so huggable. If only I had enlarged myself and dared do it one day! (side note - nice fake log from Alarian, pictured you perfectly) I was gutted when they chucked you but I'm glad to see your back up there. Like the others, you earned all of it. Great character, thanks for all the help. Keep ahold of that mark! To that other dwarf shaman - forgotten your name but thanks too! (Dwynlir?)
Kaplanov: He, he. Mr.felarwarrior - you got beat up a lot but you were definetly dedicated. Sorry I didn't 'hang' with you one last time, it was always a hoot bumming around on duty with you.
Having trouble remembering more names so I'll come back to Tribunal later.
Others: Well, there were a few outside the cabals like Yalanka, whatshisname elfconjurer, my exploring buddies. Send me a 'hi' and I'll see what I can remember of you. Right now, memories are getting fuzzed by Kaplanov.
Likely add to this later... for now, heres my character history.
Hycteran, Dawn servant, Arial spear/hand spec. Anduin, Nexus druid (child-like mind, adored Divox!!! yay!) Yhorian, Nexus conjurer. (And shadowcat named Pushwance) Huroomhaur Dedhorn, Scion shaman. (minotaur, tattooed by Rhegma, hated humans) And now... Optomkiptum Bo-sundinni, Svirf transmuter, tatooed by phaelim.
Thanks everyone, hope you had as much fun as me!
Yhorian.

Deleting! Bah. I loved watching Opto, you were one of those rare characters that ALWAYS seemed to be solidly in your role whenever I watched you, which was often, even if no one else was around. You can tell when someone is really into their role, because they require no prompting at all to do things. And yes, I took control of your guards a few times, among other things. Anyway, you were a very good Tribunal and Justiciar, and I demand you'll be missed. Hopefully we'll see you back. Good luck with your next!

I thought you rp'd the character well. And the demanding part of your rp was so annoying at times, I wondered if you were a closet Imp follower. You reminded me of ants at a picnic so much that I just had to take out the can of Raid and scare you with it.
Good luck.

Well Optomkiptum was my mentor and I think that was obvious to anyone who saw us on at the same time. Even as Provost I looked up to you and loved it those times I saw you log on. You were a great character and I owe a lot to you for Lemath's success's. If not for you Lemath would of been long gone and the Spire may of been a totally different place to be in. When we started doing the paperwork I was excited I was hoping to take your place and see you raise to Provost. Then when Velkurah came to me in Hamsah and we started talking and I got Promoted to Provost I was like oh #### Optomkiptum is gonna be pissed. Shortly after you stopped loggin on and I thought oh hell he's gonna auto delete now that I got provost though I'm glad that wasn't what was goin on. You taught me many things and I'm greatful for that. What's even funnier is I remember Yhorian and his little cat in Nexus when I was Lorak. So I guess it's just sorta ironic. Well done and thanks for everything and good luck. If I make another I hope we get to interact some more.

I tried my best to fill the role, i couldn't see optom being Provost for some reason (to much actual duty, means he couldn't just whine about paperwork... which he loved doing ) so I decided to just pick the best. You were it.
I've said it once, I'll say it again. You earned everything. Well done.
Glad you remember my cat, first character I got a second name on and damn was I chuffed. Was an awful conjurer though!! Just loved Pushwance more than the actual character. Infact, I seem to vaguely remember wanting to roll a shifter so I could act as someones pet inform, lol.
Perhaps we'll meet again, don't know where... don't know when... la la la la la la...

Oh well.
Nicely done, about time we had 'a' desk. Just a shame its kinda like a combined purpose thing. A great idea to have it within the city so we can sit on duty though, I can see many interviewees already queuing up outside the office so the Provost can yell NEXT!
Thanks for the entertainment, hope I returned a bit.

....no mention of the guy who helped you sleep off your bender at the Inn? Little drunk so-and-so, really inspired my fake log in velk's forum.
You were *the* svirf archtype, you just sounded and acted like one should. I know that doesn't sound like much of a compliment, but seriously, logs of you should be used to teach people how to RP svirfs/gnomes.
It sucks you left after I got Justiciar, would of liked to learn from you a bit and interact more. Some people are just fun being around and you're one of them.

Felt like I'd started something really special *sob*
I really had a few books in the coming, but never quite made it out. Just imagine how much someone who has to stand about on duty can do in the way of chit-chat and book writing. Sometimes, I loved being a Tribunal for the herald-like part of the job. Being Justiciar gave me the opportunity to throw a bit of weight around as well to get information i needed... I had a piece that was of great personal interest on the Zurconic cult! Not exactly perfect for your library, but something.
Hope I can work my way back in someday, maybe find an excuses to publish some other books. Guess I can't do the zurcon one now
