#28387, "Hyuga is gone"
|
I would like to thank all the players that I've interected with. You all, friends and foes, gave me a good time. I wish I could continue playing but my school term starts next week and along with a major exam at the end of this year, I really have to stop playing. Hope all of you will understand my decision.
Many thanks once again to players who brought much joy and laughter to me while I was playing Hyuga.

Thanks a bunch for the gear. All I really have to say, since I didn't know you, is that you really should use your imagination more next time, because stealing names from famous anime series are kind of lame.
But cheers and good luck with the exams.

Hrm...never knew my name was from an anime series for I don't watch them. Which anime is that?

I'd bet that well less than 1 in 5,000 people outside of Japan gets that reference at all, and a sizable fraction of those people wouldn't take the time to berate someone's character over it. Please find another hobby besides pointing out how disappointed that you are that you can name a cartoon character with the same or similar spelling, and leave the Battlefield for comments about the character that matter.
While you may have a framed, autographed, special-edition, director's cut, still-in-the-original-shrink-wrap, gold-plated version of whatever the heck Naruto is, it's not nearly what we would consider a "common reference". The staff does not care about fine-tooth-combing character names like that, and we're happy with how the current naming policy works for us.
