The first fights we had it was all about neuro, neuro, neuro. I was well enaugh protected against it, to make it largly useless. Later on your started with various disrupts, got MUCH worse then. Sitting in some pit somewhere waiting of a 15 hour disrupt organ isnt fun.

88 kills at hero eh.. I was pretty deadly it seems. I totally loved this character. Thanks, Amaranthe(...I will come to that later)! I made Zavin to try out an arial invoker, and I can hands down say they are THE strongest vokers. Air affinity + perma flight + all weaknesses removed.. Because of the perma flight thieves were never a danger, only an annoyance(I will come to that later also). Invokers, especially scion invokers are just insanely strong. 1500 hps in addition to a damage redux no other class can match, this in addition to elemental immunity. I soloed Tiamat multiple times, which give some pointer to invoker strenght. But it has to be said, I owe much of my success to the exploration I did with Azharadon back in the day, and Zaknafir later on. My wand knowledge is good enaugh to gather two of each ABS in less than 15 min. This was something Kak took great use in, he probably lifted 30 barrier wands from me(Not to mention a pletora of shield and aura). Ah well.. I've started work in a Kindergarden, which I mentioned in Llyendbels short goodbye thing. This will sadly limit my playing time by quite a bit, cant play 10 hours(+) a day anymore *Chuckle*.

-Immortals-

Beroxxus:
Sorry about the hell tatt, but I knew I only had a few hours left in the char(untill I lost my hell gear). For the first 400'ish hours of Zavins life I did not hear a word from you, but you know.. Softball and stuff. Just wondering, if I had not gotten the hell tatt.. and been around some more hours. Would I have gotten the mark of happiness, love and compassion?

Amanrathe:
THANKS A BUNCH! Totally loved the interaction. Hope you enjoyed the interaction, but I guess you did since I got a title from it.

Zulg:
I've retaken the scepter with 5-6 hero marans on multiple times. But thanks comment "old guy with large axe".

Morts:

During my quest for absolute evilness i've met far to many to mention. I wont mention anyone, so none is forgotten. If you post I reply when I see it. Later ya all.

Zavins out.

Recent chars: Starkad, Azharadon, Zaknafir, Hrafnir, Llyendbel.

I liked Zavin. Though, with the amount of dam redux you could put up along with most marans' inability to dispel and/or lag, it may not be as impressive as you think that you retrieved against 5/6. Even if, combined, they could outdamage you, you still hurt them as well as the Tara'bal by using area spells. That meant that while you were healing up, they had to heal themselves as well as the tara'bal, plus regen mana if they were paladins. But in any case, I applaud you nonetheless for being willing to spend your wands in order to retrieve.

btw, you were just extremely unlucky w/ regard to my tattoo. I got the sense you felt it was unfair after it did its thing twice in a row on you. Trust me, that was an anomaly.

Irresistable force vs. Unmovable Object.

Untill one of us ran out of mana and left.

I can agree to the fact that 5-6 marans werent overly dangerous to me. But I could take down the maran outer in like 10 rounds of combat. That dont leave much time for defenders to return anyways.

You were a powerful invoker, there is no doubt about it. You showed me plenty of interesting places which I recently began exploring for myself as a result. Thank you for that. We also made an interesting team from time to time I'd say. It reminded me of the times with Kwalin honestly. Alot of carnage, not to mention alot of fun for us two.

I wish we had had more oppurtunity to interact with each other with regards to roleplay, however. There were some questions Arthakar wanted to ask you, but now it is too late for that.

Indeed, too bad you are gone.

Well we fought a bunch whether it was raiding or just seeing each other somewhere. I believe you got me once at the Giant, the rest of the times either I tiger clawed you and you ran, then came back and beat me up till I ran, or you just bugged out. you were a damn skilled invoker and I always had to be super careful (that and blasted tiger claw working 2/5's of the time). Good luck with teaching

Zavin was an excellent source of Fortress wands with Kak around. I also enjoyed badmouthing Zavin with other marans in front of Llyendbel. Looking back, that was a fun moment.

Did you find 2H or Shield Paladins more annoying?

I really liked our fights, because I knew if I was fighting you, and it wasn't a raid I was fighting just you. I'd like to think you came to expect the same from me.

Our fights were often long, drawn out, and bloody as hell. When we first started tangling, you had the clear advantage but I wasn't about to back down from some damn chicken-man! Then the more we would fight, I'd use different tactics against you, and things weren't quite so gloomy for me.

Was that death at the Fortress your last one? If so, I feel honored to have caused your death for the last time.

What is with every single mage in the land now having barrier?

Anyway, it was a battle in frutility most of the time but I must say we had some really good fights. Between quicksand and cone of colds, I think I did pretty well against you. Considering you usually had somewhere between 1200 to 1500 hit points, a/b/s'ed and five shielded, and kicking out area spells I can't do anything about (and you most likely had mastery of too). Oh and the stoneform amulet, BAH! I have never seen so many grazes and scratches in my life.

Some people say one character can't change the tide of cabal wars, but I think you did a really good job supporting and bringing back Scion. An invoker is a huge boon to a cabal, and you showed that. Good luck with your next.

Whenever I saw you on, I had that sinking feeling. Everyone else, I atleast had a chance against if I bloodthirsted and directed my damage appropriately.. However against you, it was most definitely an effort in futility and a death sentance unless I felt like breaking role and not defending. Something I only did once nearing the end of Vargal's existance.

I say good riddence to Zavin.

Goodluck with your next (let him not be an invoker).

In response to Reply #16

There is a few classes, played by a competent player, than can totally build a cabal. There classes must be able to survive bad odds. Invoker, healer, shaman, paladin.. Is very good examples of class types that in the right hands can turn a tide.

Without barrier mages have NO chance to beat a strong rager.

A invoker without barrier, would you ever have to flee from that?

Well I guess thats what you would say about me.....

You were a badass! But you probably guessed I wasn't one to give up on a fight! Anyway, you were mean, no doubt about that. And you were careful, only ever fighting with bucket loads of dam reduc.

Luck with the kiddies. Just don't go pulling a christian priest on them.

I totally understand about the Hell Tattoo. I would probably have done it myself were I in the same place. Low Con and many hours, so getting close to age death, but Beroxxus does not care for betrayel to much.

Yeah, May pretty much totally blew for me and some of June has been fairly busy as well. Got to hate real life sometimes.

As far as getting the tattoo. I do not know honestly. I didn't get to watch you enough, so I can't really say. Since you played Zaknafir, you should know that I handled Zavin differently. I try not to keep an exact cookie element on how to get a Tattoo. I kinda change certain approaches to see how people will react.

I also know you were looking for leader, but to be honest, you were just to weak in the con/age department and with the little time I had recently to watch potentials, I wasn't just going to toss someone leadership. You probably would have been a fine Advisor or Chancellor, especially knowing your other characters now, but such things happened. Hopefully (odd word for me to use =P ) Scion will get rolling once more as my time opens up a bit more.

Your constant random immolations of me without reason made you hella annoying. I can only hope that I annoyed you as much as you did me in causing you to take an entire hour to fetch your barrier wand that one time . I was gonna call outside aid, but you weren't doing it, so despite my greed for a barrier source I could monopolize at least one wand at a time of, I went for a fair fight. And next time, please, only 1 barrier wand at a time, I know me a good... 1... 2... 8 sources and only 1 is not dried up because pretty much, porc w/healing/regen is about the only monster that can solo that beast. THINK OF THE CHILDREN! Anyhoo, hopefully next time we won't become enemies so we can interact some beyond immolation and harry. *wave* Be back soon!

I've interacted with your every character (I liked big Starkad best, I think). Anyways. Having to fight an invoker (who knows what he's doing) as a bard is just plain loss of time; unless I could get a fiend through, I was sure I would have to run.. perhaps not the first or second round, but man, it's really frustrating. Spending those preps and knowing they don't really work is.. well .. frustrating.. Two attacks per round that are scratches or grazes, my damage song (fire and ice) reduced to zero (and the other two 3-round lag songs and hardly damage through your shields), the only thing that was left for me to do was roundhouse.. anyways, we met yet again.. and again, well done man, another excellent character.. I know this comment will be useless, but still: good luck with your next.

I know who you have played before..

Yeh.. bards have very little they can do one on one, but in a group fight distort can become really, really annoying. Also, if there were more than you around, I worded and killed the fiend. If it was you and.. maybe one more.. I would just outright kill it in a few spells.

You're welcome. I did enjoy it. That whole "Time of Mothers" quest series on Mother's Day weekend was about watching how characters reacted to the various situations with the mothers, as well as exchanging and telling stories afterwards. In almost all cases, the "mother" was the mother of something the characters routinly killed en masse, yet most (naturally) immediately wanted to sympathize with the mothers and "solve" the quset. You definately took the prize among evil particpants for taking an appropriately callous, twisted, and evil approach for the character that you were playing. Well done!

There was just no point in fighting one on one. A waste of preps. No skilled invoker should EVER die to another invoker solo.

Good char, I loved the roleplay before I went and spoke to the combative mother.
