Aawww, I liked you. I loved the way you talked, and the sorta sarcasm you had. Though, during your time things were swung pretty far in the Fort's favor so I figure things just got boring for you without very many people to fight. Things have changed now, but sometimes after a long break from a character I can't get back into it. Anyways, you were fun to be around.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. I came back to CF after roughly three years' hiatus, and was having a blast up until I hit hero range. It was 12-15 Fortress heroes and 0 evils 90% of the time, and the other 10% of the time it was one or two groups of evils and me. I like to think I'm better than that 27% PK ratio, but there you have it.
I got so bored of trying to find someone to kill when there were so many goodies around that when there were too many opponents for me, I threw myself headlong at them in an excited frenzy. I'd retrieve the Orb (was that our item? I barely remember  ) and then die three times in a row to Khalizad or something silly like that. Then one Fortress guy would show up... then another... and another and another and another and another and another and another until it was back to being 12-15 Fortress heroes with 0 evils. Pretty frustrating.
Eventually I stopped showing up, and after a while it seemed like it would have been tacky to come back, so I just stayed gone.
Does all this add up to me being the kind of player CF doesn't want? Interested only in the PK aspect and avoiding RP opportunities? Not exactly. I actually wanted to try and imm Drahmkouf. That was my plan, anyway. You always shoot high after being gone for three years. Then I realized they didn't really need any more heroimms, didn't really need any more areas... and I sort of gave up on that, too.
I'll post my role, if I can find it and it turns out not to have been too crappy, and be done with it. Nice to know one person remembers me, anyway.

Yeah. I remember those days of just logging on and hanging out. I knew things would eventually turn around, and they have been. I was kind of hoping you'd come back once things evened out a bit more, but I guess not
