Steinigner the Thief Hero was put to rest.

Ahh well. I honestly did not want to auto-delete this character and was shocked when I saw his name deleted. Since I started working this summer my cf time has dropped considerably. I had lost interest after the whole Thieves guild started to fall apart. After Jonni had left I was the one that knew the most about it at the time, so I started to take control but the Immortal behind it was never around when I was(I guess). It did seem like it had some good qualities behind it to the Immortal that thought of it, just need to stick with it. I was probably the 4th character in Nexus. I honestly joined the day it came out to just see what it was. I did not like the extent of it. Some of the ideas I liked but I think it could be done a bit different. I spent about a week trying to find an earthbind scroll, That is a dream for a thief, but had no luck. Thieves can still be deadly. Those of you who say thieves suck at hero levels just do not understand how to ACTUALLY play a thief.

To the svirf thief, Sorry I wasn't around, I did enjoy our talks that we had though.

My pk ratio as some of you have talked about....I was not a ##### at all. I fought all the big time players. I can only recall one time that I died after I was rank 40 and that was to a human ranger in battle. He was convulsing I had 450 hp I typed trip x, deathblow deathblow You are dead. It took me a minute to realize I had died. I can not think of another time I died past fourty.

My final advice for thieves is....Be patient and wait for the prime moment.

Few people I remembered back when I actually played.

Daemelin - I know you hated me, I did enjoy our fights, I still recall it being 1-0 me, with both of us having close calls.

Jabeleik - It was fun hunting with you, too bad you never heroed.

Caelph - I was vaguely around when you were but it was fun traveling with you.

Vahlen - You and I probably interacted the most...yes that is sad when I think about it. I just talked to you like you were a good friend, Even when you were an Immortal. You did a very good job with your character(as I noticed with another character). You have done a good job as an Immortal as well. (I was only hoping you could give me a hint on that earthbind scroll, but I knew it would never happen

Dang it has been so long I forgot some others. There was the human necro that I got 4 times or so, I know you loved me My advice, be an arial.

Ahh well it is too hard for me to remember all those from two months ago, it was fun interacting with all of you though.

Last words of advice.....Thieves best skill...... Trip! That should help some of you younger thieves out.

Ya, hated you with a passion. As for that ratio, ya, 1-0, had a hard time getting you alone, always had another thief or something with you, had to stay a damn goose just so I could dodge all the blackjacks flying my way. Shame I got that mask so late in life...

Hey, sorry i never found those scrolls for you. Im still looking for them. IM just curious how you got such a high PK % with a svirf thief? IM still trying to get the hang of killing with a thief, all i am really good at is jacking people and stealing everything in their inventory

Would you mind giving me some advice on things such as duergar AP?

I kept looking for you but never saw you again. Dont know where you went. Did you get tired of playing a thief or what?

Pk ratio's can be miss leading. 87% isn't that great when you consider if he killed 100 people, he died 13 times. That actually sucks. He would never have a good axe if he was an AP.

How many people can you point to that spent >100 hours at hero and maintained >87% PK ratio? Take a look. I bet you can count them on one hand.

I dunno. Call me a disbeliever, but I say, show me a Hero char with a 95% ratio after 100 hours at 51, and I see a guy that didn't face very many challenges or risks (and maybe wasn't seeking them).

One word...#####. If you're at hero awhile, unless you're one of the useless cannon fodder types, you better be damn good. I know I spent 300+ hours at hero, and I'm sure my ratio was damn good, and I sure as hell looked for challenges, ask anyone who met me. I agree with the ap, % means little unless you know the numbers behind them.
