The time you made me, a lvl 30 bloodoath go and try to retrieve, alone, with a fortress full of healers and paladins really pissed me off. Not so much that you told me to do it, but that I finally managed to pull it off, (A HUGE effort on my part)and you didn't make me at least a citizen. Then you had the balls to try and make me go do it again. I just ignored you the second time.

Yeah, I was a bastard like that. I didn't think you would even pull oit off, you surprised the hell out of me. If I could have promoted you, I would have. I didn't have the power to though. Needless to say, I was impressed.
