At first, I had no plans of ever associating with you. After a while though, I really had no choice. It was either stick with you or get multikilled. I really liked you, you played a good healer: most of my deaths were just to overwhelming, overwhelming numbers, and that got frustrating after a while. After you deleted, I realized that things would get a lot worse before they got better, and the next gang after that was enough for me. Hope you come back to Empire soon.

You'll make a good sect leader, if you can stick with it. At first, I sort of resented you because we were almost exactly the same: in fact, the second legacy you picked was the one I would have picked had I made it that far. You were a good guy to have around though, and two people cranialing can do a lot. I'll be back in Empire, albeit as something that doesn't have the massive disadvantages that a Blade does. Stay strong.

I do think eastern road should not be plant growthable. Equally, I think mountains should be non-burnable.

Eastern road is a death road. Deleting because of a gang is lame. Take it on the shin, push some level-sitters and all will get back to the best.

It's amazing how often you find Warders on Eastern Road. Three cheers for the revamp of Eastern and its inclusion of the Copse of Trees. It's probably the most closely guarded "forest" in Thera. Here's something I quickly learned and now I'll pass it on to the rest of the anti-Sylvans.

Seriously...the Copse of trees doesn't change the fact that eastern road is a death trap. I've seen druids make the entire thing forest.
So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Alright damnit, I'd like everyone to stop lumping in the warlocks with everyone. I can say I was easily the only warlock logged for three hundred hours of my play time, retrieving against the village and grove alone every damn time I logged on. This talk of warlock gangs, and us as great oppressors is bs. We have half the size of anyone but the village and chasm, plus three and a half enemy cabals (Yes, half may a bit much for scion right no) to contend with. You want a simple solution? Play or don't.

If for whatever reason the Fortress can't gather the Sylvans, maybe they're guarding Eastern Road or mudsexing in the weeds, they can count on the Warlocks for the "much needed" backup. I can say without pause that 75% of the raids that occured while you were logged on had you as a major player. You may be a small cabal, but one invoker with 5 other raiders is a pretty formidable force.

I don't think I have EVER been around when we have actively sought the sylvans to help us raid or vice versa. I will admit that sometimes when we got the the imperial palace a sylvan or two might have been there. I will agree that from your side it might appear that we are all one big happy family, but I can assure you there isn't a great amount of love between the fortress and the warders. But of course, all of that is ic stuff.

I con-died one and deleted the other because I believed I was misunderstanding the cabal philosophy. I was wrong, some were just panzies. I'm still playing for team evil, don't worry. Just that some Imperials are not doing what they should do and the best of them are paying for it.

So, let me get this straight.
You know that the Warders are on Eastern Road... and that it basically is infested with them.
Why travel down it?
There are other ways to get from Hamsah to Galadon than to travel the (whole) Eastern Road.
If you know where your enemy is going to be, especially an unseen one, then don't be there. Kinda makes their ability to be unseen less of an advantage, since you (kind of) can tell where they are, no?
And lastly, to suggest that all Imperials go ahead and delete is just stupid. First of all, why? Is your only reason the one enclosed in this post, about the Warders? If so, then I hope current Imperials aren't as narrowminded as you are/were.
If anything, this is their time to shine... the scarce few left. The ones that just haven't gotten around to con-dying or rage-deleting. With everyone doing that around them, that increases their chances of being recognized by the Imms for their efforts.

Actually, we warders do not frequent that road as much as you think. When we do plant, it is when we have something entirely different planned instead of sitting and waiting. We sat that time awhile waiting for the three druids to get their bloody wards called and to stop running off everywhere. It worked out though, one less Imperial to "worry" about. But, as you seen from his post, I attacked him alone, was alone, and could have easily finished him off alone as you seen from my "perfect health' through the entire fight. It wasnt until he was almost dead that Pelthaas and Kalvalker jumped in with maybe one or two attacks. I am just not liking to hear that we Sylvans gang bang all the time. When, I think, that we are the Cabal that does it the least. Hell, I see more Villagers roving in groups than we do. (Though, no offense to villagers, hee hee.) Sorry Lao, good..fight.

When I played Manzinul I ran into briars at large crossroads a lot. Fortunately I expected it and didn't spam so I quaffed if the druid took the time to drink a stoneskin potion, and stunned or fled otherwise. Nevertheless I think I had to fight at least a dozen fights there against druids. In the end I even went as far as to buy enough potions of teleportation that I could teleport from west thera to the Aryth, and vice versa.
I know you never have to go down eastern. I know a lot of ways around it, but unfortunately any of the ones I know -could- have a sylvan somewhere along the route, if you start from Galadon for the sake of argument and try to get to the Aryth.
Enough druids/rangers, and they could cover them all. I think it would take about 5 to seal the routes I know of.

Yeah well welcome to my world. Nice to see it happen to someone else for a change.
>In short, everyone enjoys when >their enemies delete, I just happen to voice my happiness here >OOC, where I have the chance.
I for one do not enjoy when my enemies delete. If it happens enough, who do I have left? Just my friends. What the hell kind of fun is that? I log into CF to...sit around, chat, and go sit someplace else to...sit and chat? Where's the thrill and excitement there?
>Civility left the game when a >religion was created based on multi killing newbies. Oh, and >cheers Kalvalker, you did well (though, Vlad, count how many >spells he cast in that fight)
Uhh, I suspect rather strongly here that you don't really know what you're talking about, on many levels. Also, he only needed to cast one spell to ensure victory here, and it's exactly the one he used. His spell completely froze up your foe, enabling you to stand and spam fireseeds with no fear of your enemy fleeing. It made 100% of the difference in the fight. Had he not been paralyzed, he could have fled.

-I don't. I like having quality people to play against. I think a fair number of people feel this way based on the posts we see from people on their enemies' thread.-
I agree, for sure. But a good amount of the time they cannot be considered quality opponents, just band-wagon hoppers who get on a player's nerves.
-Civility left the game when a religion was created based on multi killing newbies.
I must have missed that helpfile.-
