Char was fun, for a while. Vynmylak's disappearance heralded the end for me though (Damn you Vyn..).

I had high hopes for the char. Was hoping for a non-cookie cutter paladin. Seems like too many paladin's are clones of each other. I had some faults, and such. But never had much chance to explore the role.

The Empire horde really got to me. I tried to play through it. But it's just not fun when you spend your entire session either (1) running for your life (2) making a suicide run into a group or (3) regearing. Usually in that order.

There really weren't many high points with the char. Vynmylak was an awesome Imm. Never made me wait for him or anything. I just wish I had a chance to interact more.

To the Empire horde: It IS possible to PK solo. Most of you've forgotten that. You might actually remember what it's like to have 'fun' too. There were a few of you that weren't that bad, but that was a rarity.

To the Fortress: Soo many of you were as bad as them. I don't know how many times I saw you running around in a gang, looking for anyone to kill. Of course, doing that was more important than speaking with an app. There were some of you that I liked, but not many at all.

I think I remember seeing your name on the who list a few times, but don't remember ever talking with you. What level did you rank to?

All I can think is our playing times didn't match.
Anyway I think just because Vym is gone doesn't sound the death knell for all his followers...and ummmm don't look now but doesn't that mean there is a Void in the Honor Imm dept? Something to aspire to? If you thought people in the Fortress were acting dishonorably and/or like Empire they why would you not take the chance to RP it and take a stance, make them see the errors of their ways (at least how you saw it).

I guess I just don't understand when people say they have high hopes and are going for a solid non traditional role then up and delete? If you were bored, fine, but I just see it as a lose of a potentially great character who lives through the adversities.

First off, I was only rank 37. But I tried to interact with Maran as much as I could. I don't remember ever seeing you around, so it was probably play times.

Alot of Maran were just "too busy" to talk to an applicant. So I would walk around and hunt some, then see those same Maran in a pack of 4 or 5 out hunting the only evil character at hero range.
To me, that's jack ####.

For the record, I was sphere Rage. But tried to "control" it, and because of that, I didn't show emotion very often. But sometimes it came out. Fun stuff. Anyway, I intended to rank up and make an impact, but I just never had fun with the char. I was consistently the only goodie in my range, and consistently hunted by a pack of Empire wannabe's. I should have stuck it out, but I just couldn't hack it I guess.

But there's still Kastellyn for the honor thing, but he's even farther off than Vynmylak from the "traditional" honor gods.

I do not know about "lot of maran" I can count 4 Marans at this time
Captain, Marshal, Lruthlor and me. I'm almost 100% sure you never talked to me after i became Maran not sure if you ever talked to me at all.

There are several more maran than that, although I'm probably counting some Acolyte's too.

I won't mention any names, but those that I'm talking about should know who they are.

Out of curiosity, what were some of your past characters?

Most recently was Simbach, dawnie bard.
I had the same problem as I did with Lloraven, got pissed off at all the full looting, so I deleted, ranted, then regretted it an hour later.

Can't remember who I played before him. I took a long break before and after that one.

No one else significant in a long while anyways. Lot of Dawnies, lot of rage-deletes pre hero.
