Good to have known you, sorry you died so soon. We had some fun times and then you just took off learning. Well, its a bit harder when you can't group with most everyone! Anyway, I like the char, and you were the only non-guild thief Alarin had any trust in before you became a member. Good job!

You are the first person in a long time I actually looked for. Most times I rank with whoever, maybe more than once, maybe not, and rarely speak to them unless it's let's go kill this guy or they strike up a conversation and I'm bored. I liked the fact that you knew I had no problems with magic, and didn't really harp on it. Made it alot easier just to hang around and let it be what it was. Sorry I took off so quickly, it just happens.

As a rager, it always seems like a fine line between allowing some magic user to be a friendly type, or not liking anyone cause the might have a potion. Well, the later is tough, and the first is tough also when trying to stay with your character.

Well, think I may have gotten a record for youngest age death. Note to self, don't screw with things you shouldn't screw with. First thief since right before my last cleric I believe. And I mean cleric, not shaman etc. Not sure why I haven't played one since, but I haven't. Actually, I had Yerul right before Melikar to get an idea of the paths, and deleted him at 26 when I maxxed out what I could learn. Cut down to two paths and maxxed out at 31. Only real regret was taking death strike and losing the chance to get acrobatics. If I had known it was my last skill, I would have switched it. Was fun playing him, although I think this death was actually fortunate, not sure how long I could just wander around stealing, although it was damn amusing for the most part. Avoided fights for the most part. Think I started about three, was in maybe eight. Was going to go scion (of course), until I actually talked to Jhaelryna at I think 40, which was the soonest I could actually get her or Darian to have free time. So I spoke to her and it dawned on me, why the hell would I want to be a scion? Go freelance. And I did. Interaction with people was little really, was either stealing, training or ranking. So, my only good-bye really is to Gastaad, my tailor. Hope everything goes well for you.
Now I am going to decide on my next character. Thought of a good way to do it. Flip a coin. Heads I'm still an evil bastard, tails I'm a good bastard.

He had a wife and basically he was a REAL harsh slavedriver. Never let him hang out with his friends in the guild. I remember one time after drinking all night with Wyleder at the bar he went home drunk and then he showed up in the meeting chambers the next day with a black eye and scratch marks on his face. Furthermore, she took away all of his hard earned cash saying something like she needed it for the home and she only gave him a small percentage of his earning to spend for his personal use.
So to sum it all up. She sent him to an early grave. Hell, I would die if I had a wife and she was like that.

Just a quick note from work here. Sorry if I was rarely available, since there's so often so many things to do, and I prefer to be really in depth about interviewing, not to mention inducting isn't something I'll do lightly (for a number of reasons, IC, that I won't discuss here). Glad to see you did decide you didn't want to though, I think that's a lot better to realize beforehand rather than pulling your hair out wanting to get in, then getting in at least and realizing it sucks for your character because it isn't what he wanted.
And damn, that is pretty young. Better luck next time, at least.

I don't fault you for not having the time, or feeling you didn't have enough to do a good job. I'd rather that be the reason than alot of others. I think going for scion was reflex, maybe I need to stay away awhile. I would say make an enemy of myself...but seems scions are having a rough enough time these days *smirk*

Yes, just heroed last night, and thanks again. I know how it is to hero and finally be done with ranking, and still out there doing the repetive kill kill, 25 more to title, 24 more to title.. and you both stuck around for two ranks, so it was pretty nice. I did mean it when I said feel free to ask...just turns out you didn't ask quickly enough *wink*

I had plans for you Melikar, big plans. Hey I bet you thought you were getting the better end of the bargain when I traded you that "thing" for those boots, but it looks like I got the better end of the deal. I mean come on man! Those boots were suede!

Actually, I got the better end of the deal still. I've had the item before, played with before, just never had it work me over so fast. On the up side, anyone who has known my characters, or seen my posts knows I tire of things pretty quick. Just about every moment I had with this character was fun, minus the few odd hours looking/waiting to learn. This is probablly one of the most content endings I've had. As for plans...well, everyone has plans. Mine certainly wasn't a massive coronary at 30.
