Well, Gryeil was my first hero on CF, and the first char after a two-year leave. Actually, before that leave I was a complete newbie (had one midrank thief - Llorenthos inducted him into Empire - and that's about all). CF is a great mud which started my mud addiction, which has devoured hmm... about two and a half years, and I hope it will do no more. But hell it was a great time ). So, no more chars, real life waits for me. About the char: Didn't try to perform a super-roleplay, the reason partly being that English is my second language and the other part that I just don't like to play any role but my own. Although, never spoke OOC, as this really spoils all the fun of the game. Gryeil was rather pointless, but it was in his role. A bird that enjoyed travelling with those of light and wilds and fought madly those of darkness. Friends: All those of the Fortress and the Grove I interacted or travelled with, special thanks to Braiden and Raukyr for the fun travels and interaction, you were my best friends. All air shifters (except evil and nexites - hmm, nexite actually) - was fun to share the sky looking out for prey. Foes: Scions, all those of darkness and nexites (for some reason, I hated nexites even more than scions - they seemed to me much more nasty and treacherous). I tried to kill you whenever I saw you and killed you whenever I could. Was fun to search for you, track and fight you. Was boring when you weren't about.
All in all, I got quite old, I got slightly bored
*A golden eagle flaps his wings fiercely and flies out of sight*
P.S. Braiden, I'm sorry I didn't make it to DAWN

Combined with the four or five other air/kittys you pretty much keept me from ever doing anything constructive. That being both a praise of your skills as well as a lack of decent player-to-player behavour. Really I can not say I will miss you, since as mentioned, you most prevented me from roleplay and creating zombies. The third time someone blinds you and leave you should pretty much know that is what the un-prepred will do and then leave it alone alone for a time. But you didn't and nither do the rest of the fortress so I can't blame you alone.
A bit bitter, Waskes

Hmm... you are basically saying that I should leave a spectre alone and let him get his zombies, right? Obviously the best time to strike a necromancer is when he hasn't got his zombies yet... why complaining? As for the blinds, you seemed to get every blind through, otherwise multiple repetitions wouldn't be needed maybe. I think, the point is: don't prepare zombies where birds can see you. But I agree with you that offensive/air transmuters are sort of.. scary. It is very easy to find anyone with them (provided that he/she doesn't hide underwater or underground) and knowing that a lion is flying above your head and can attack you every minute is just... extremely annoying. A lion can get unprepared necromancer (actually pretty everyone else) from full health to writhing/convulsing in one round.. now you are really not sure if you want to be not at full health at all.

NO! What the heck happened here. Damn You were one of my best friends. I can't believe you left. Oh well, It was fun while it lasted. Shed any insight on the deletion? Braiden always looked at you as one of his closest friends, and I always enjoyed out interactions. It was truly a pleasure gryeil. Good luck on your next character. Hope you make a dawnie!
Braiden
