Always enjoyed my chats with Aynwinria, alas too few and far between. The Night With The Book was absolutely delightful, and I remember early on you getting all wide-eyed about Rary's people's archery skills like a nerd. I certainly appreciated the energy you had for Herald events. It can be hard to get them planned sometimes, but seeing people who want them to happen is always good for inspiration.

First, before I get to goodbyes, I'm going to talk about Ayn's backstory. Written in the role, it wasn't sparkling or fantastic, but it really came to life when I got to tell it, to spin my RP abilities into telling the story.
Ayn's youth was massively tragic. As a young girl, she nearly drowned but was saved by her older brother who ended up sacrificing himself to save her. Her first encounter with Death.
This lead to a life of mental abuse for Ayn. Her father blamed Ayn for his only son's death, often telling her it should have been her instead of him. She was denied joy in life, no friends, no balls (she was a noble), no really good youth. Only bitterness and despair.
As she became a young woman, her father sought to marry her off to some random family just to be rid of her. He could not bear to even look at her. She was to be wed to some elf she had never met. This was too much for Ayn and on the night of her engagement party (Dad had to keep up appearances), Ayn attempted suicide. As she lay dying in her own life blood, Death came to her again, saying not yet, and she woke from her dark slumber to find a Priest of Einoh bringing her back to life.
This priest not only gave her life, but gave her hope, helping Ayn pull from the deepest pits of despair. Ayn seeing that twice she was saved wanted to do the same for at least one person in her life. So she fled from her home, abandoning her family name and taking up Watercup (water is often referred to life, so she wanted to be a cup of life). She chose to join the Fortress and serve Einoh as she was born under the sphere of Healing.
That was the basis of her back story. I chose hunter to be more of an archer then a hunter (I didn't even practice butcher). She studied herbary and used those to help heal those in need, and later altruism as she became and Acolyte and later Elder Prophet.
Immortals Einoh - Thank you for all your time, and talks. Thank you for believing enough in Aynwinria to tattoo her. Thank you for the Tend Wounds skill (I really really liked that. It fit and wasn't an OP ability). I truly regret deleting so soon afterwards, but after 2 straight weeks of work w/o a day off, and I wasn't sure what I really had left to accomplish. I wasn't going to try to age die an elf and leader. But thank you so much for your time.
Padwei - Thank you for making me an Acolyte and later Elder Prophet. I only hope you believed I did a good job. Thank you for the chance.
Nalsul - I figured you were helping with the inducts after a certain comment in discord . Thank you for helping look out for stuff and glad you got all that paper work straight.
Morius - That one night was entertaining with that book. That was a good laugh as I did everything I could think of to get rid of it.
Fortress
Laurandt - My mentor. I am glad we got to spend so much time together and appreciated the mentorship roleplay. It really made a big difference having you at my side for fights. I need to post that epically long battle where you and I fought against Wijara and Inaj.
Deverena - Thanks for all the early help. I was sad when you disappeared and left the Maran's leaderless. I only hope I did a good enough job as Elder Prophet in your absence.
Cedany - Thank you for the kind words. I really hope I gave you a lot of what you were looking for in the terms of RP. I could clearly see you were getting better at the whole healer thing. I do admit you leaving the Fortress sadden me. Good luck with the character!
Ariendil - Your ball room gift really really was touching. It showed me you listened to what we talked about, about my character. I hope your own story can be expanded upon. You are a good paladin (in the terms of RP, no idea about your PK ability).
Kayloren - Man it was nice having a competent Squire/Maran invoker. You being around certainly lead me to being a bit more aggressive. PS I never read your name as Kylo Ren, but always Kay - loren
Erinyal (sp) - What happened to you? Having both you and Kayloren come in at the sametime was going to be huge to fight against our enemies.
Vaerie - Amusing character. Don't know where you went. I was glad I could push Rarywey to do that event cause I knew it was up your alley.
Iliomyndil - You are good to have on the Fortress's side. I wish you had gotten leader sooner. Sorry about leaving you with all those pledges! Good luck on it!
Ilthuryn - Was me and you for a while it seemed like. Sorry I had so many of the good bows and that they are only slotted to be 1 in game, though I think the noremove one in Morton there were two. Was good having you at my side!
To the others. There are plenty of Imperials to fight. This should be your time to shine. I hope none of you are the Imperials. Get out there and curb the tide.
Outlander
Maeneekoni(sp?) - Kin! We had so many talks and raids letting fate decide who got the cabal items. Don't let the long hours you've got in stop you from playing. It is good to have a long time leader. You are bound to get more Wardens.
Arjandrou - We didn't hang out too much, but was glad to have you as an ally and friend. You were a solid character. Good job.
Ydane - I never killed you and you never got me. I did enjoy shooting you as you flew by the Fortress. Respectable character. Great job.
Battle
Ethelreverra - We traveled a good bit. I liked you for the most part, but your character was a bit fanatical about the magic hate. I don't know if you ever hunted good mages, or if you only gave them a solid talking too.
Scions
Narra - In all those hours that bat never did get me. Again you were one of those people that were fun to shoot at flying over head, or setting you up for the flyto snare traps. I can't imagine you have much longer in the character. Go ahead and push her!
Entropy
Pinninnip (sp) - You never got to be cardinal! I really wanted to see if you got the clothing and a book to be it. Was fun!
Neajess - While we didn't interact much, I liked what I saw. You were certainly the toughest AP I fought. And like I said in our fights, I wasn't running but using my class skills (worded in game differently). Can't use herbs in combat
Vodette - You can fly safely around the Fortress once more!
Empire
Inaj - I enjoyed our few fights and small talks here and there. Good luck in Imm Land. I know it can be tough to push through, but its worth it.
Wijara - After our first two fights (you killed me the first one) I pretty much figured out how to fight you. And no, I certainly had no plans to fight you in civilized areas
Uncabaled
Leoua - Thank you for all the eyes in the shadows and being a solid person to have on my side.
Maere - Wow, could there be a more opposite person then Ayn? We had so many fights and I never realized you were doing it without all your toys. I never felt threatened by you and that could be why. That and the tools you did have didn't mean much to a ranger. At least I got you once and you got me zero! Good luck with the newborn!
Orcs
Zods - I don't think you ever killed me, but that one time outside the village was damn close. I learned more about fighting against orcs and what to expect that I think our fights were really coming down to a draw in a lot of cases.
Lok - Sucks being the snare victim all the time!
Herald
Rarywey - Thank you for being a friend. I see you are really coming unto your own now and I hope you can draw in more Heralds. Do more events, aim for at least one a month! Good luck!
I'm sure I missed someone and I'm sorry if I did. I talked to a lot of people as Elder Prophet. Thanks to those who made the game fun.
Watercup out!

I am sorry to see Aynwinria go, she was such a great character. Great job. As always, you make the game a better place.
The only regret I have is that we didn't get to go for a dance.
Good luck with the next.

Kin indeed. I think I have plenty of time left . But seriously, every time I saw you come on I made the effort to reach out and just say hello. Elf power rangers unite! While I did not pry on your background, I did try to challenge your faith a little.
IMHO you were one of the more religious centric characters I had come across so I made the effort to discuss all aspects of your faith. Like Maere, Ayn made the game better and this is why I keep coming back.

Soooo many pledges. What'd you do to me??
For real though, I was looking forward to having you around, especially after I became Captain. We had a very different view on a lot of things, so I was looking forward to butting heads a little bit with you when we were on even terms, position-wise.
Awesome character though. You had a real presence and made a difference to the cabal for long, long time. You're already being missed in a big way.

We interacted on a few occasions and from my perspective you were a pretty good Elder Prophet. Kudos for sticking it out as the only leader for as long as you did.

Ayn's existence was really a point of light (ha) for Cedany. I absolutely loved how willing you were to RP at nearly any point (even with all the hassles of leader life). Ayn's story was so tragic but the character as a whole was relatable and really left Ced thinking a lot about what it means to live one's own life regardless of what happened in the past. I'm so happy Ayn was around for Ced to interact with and it'll be hard to deal with the loss. I can't say enough good things about every interaction Ced had with Ayn. Other characters seemed to really enjoy her and notice when she was awol, so I think that speaks a lot to the influence she had on Thera.
Also....who else is going to bring such innovative and heartwarming stories to the Inn?
GLWYN!
