I guess I wasn't explicit enough when I tried to warn you about that sword. I had age killed a character before with it after about two fights (it was close to con death anyway), but couldn't really say that so explicitly.
I thought about sacking it, but I thought maybe Melissa had given it to you to see if an orc could strip the blessing. Also, the axe you were using had a + age effect as well. I had been offered that axe as an orc before and turned it down because of all the examples around (well two or three) of orcs who used gear with age effect and age died around mid 200 hour range.

It's just a static +age affect that leaves you when you unequip it.
It's possibly I set a bad precedent by giving him one sweet progging weapon with some nasty drawbacks, and so he wasn't too put off by a second sweet progging weapon with nasty drawbacks. But no, I didn't give him that sword. I had him unwield it the moment I saw it on him but it was already too late.

This was going to be the login we were going to unleash the pain.
I mean, you know this but just wow. I knew that thing was bad news but I didn't know how bad. All that time getting ready, and..
Melissa is going to get a complex. Another one.

Yes I was speechless about it, I was very much looking forward to materializing our devious plans! One good thing that came out of this was that I did learn AlOT from you about many things, thanks for that! and that claw... it was a beautiful claw

Shame. I enjoy having a good enemy. They should change the zurcon if it ages you that much.

Except maybe losing the bless flag.. grumble
It's incredible power at a cost. That's flavour. That's CF. I like that. As much as i dislike that it happened to Somot.

No, there's no such thing as vuln_age, but when you're talking about things that age your character by years then orcs, arials, and humans get the short end of that stick. It's going to hammer those characters if they lose ten years of life (What, 10% to 25% of their lifespan?), whereas an elf, gnome, dark-elf, etc that loses ten of over 1000 years barely cares.
