I was ill for a bit and so played an alternate character that would not matter if I screwed up and died. When I came back in better health I then royally screwed up twice in quick succession. Once when I cast magic missile on a rager I was clearly going to beat with my angel, elemental, construct and familiar melee. He spellbaned and hit be for 3 massacres or something and I died. He was cool and didn't take much, if anything at all. I had been carrying about an item I had wanted to get cleansed so I could use it and when I rewore it by accident in the get all corpse;wear all I was rendered below 0% hps and unlikely to recover BUT I did. However, I then, trying to circumvent the choker that hurt me, I typed 'wear ring', and ended up wearing the choker that apparently had ring in its key words and ended up stunned and died some 5 ticks later and got full looted by a passing lowbie duerar AP.
Absence + Stupidity + Stupidity + Numptiness = delete delete
Shame really as I liked the role and was looking forward to playing it out but looking at Fort numbers it may have been too full for my tastes now anyway.
