Chapter 3

I have now travelled the lands far and wide from my home and all is worse
than I could have ever imagined. The plague of civilization has spread
outwards like a spider spins its web, its reach now far and wide. Roads
like tendrils spiral outwards in all directions with those from cities
spreading their disease upon the world. During my travels, I came upon
three stones ancient beyond measure. They tell of a fallen faction that
was set out to protect nature from those that would bring harm to her, to
push back at civilization and the tainted. They failed and were destroyed
by those of the like of Empire, Scion and Tribunal. However, from their
ashes, the Outlanders were born. Now I have joined them as a reaver with
the dark ancients as my guide. Learning from past failures together, we
will eradicate civilization and restore Thar-Eris like the way it was in
days of old. I have practiced hard to endeavor to train my abilities to a
high level and help bring this goal. I have felt the calling of the dark
ancients and with fire, blood and ash, we will purge this world of this
plague that has fallen upon it once and for all.

Chapter 2

As weeks become months, my sorrow turned to anger and vengeance that
fueled my entire being. I continued training myself not as a warrior of
the city but as a warrior of the wilds. Using skills taught by my father
I become one with the wilderness, learning to master my techniques in my
new surroundings. I practiced hard, but what pushed me through was
vengeance that I would bring to civilization for taking everything from
me. Occasionally, as I peered upon the vile cities, my hatred
intensified. It became even more obvious that all those within were blind
to what they had become. Seeing them moving through the streets, spilling
out with filth. Living without a thought to what their ruthless expansion
and overpopulation was having upon the world. Their cities will return to
piles of wood and rubble and the wilds will slowly take back all which
that it has lost. The world return to the way it was in the days of old.
I will tear down their walls around them, burn their cities to ash, kill
with fearlessness, and revel in their blood dripping from my claws!

Chapter 1

As I sat in my cabin, nestled by a warm fire deep within the wilderness,
my thoughts turned to memories of my father. He was a weaponsmaster, well
known for his highly trained techniques and their deadly execution. He
was such an important part of my life and his story is the reason I now
live in the wilds far from civilization. It is the path my father took to
becoming this deadly fighter, training in the city day after day
unknowingly led to what I have become. His fixated path learning to
defeat his enemies in a frenzy of combat that would lead to our
nightmare. He had two sides, one being driven to be the deadly foe to any
unlucky enough to face him and the other where he had love for my mother
and two younger siblings. A side we all loved being happy listening to
his tales while sitting content around the fireplace.

However, our lives changed forever when a devastating plague swept
through the overcrowded city and its outskirts where we once lived. A
disease that was a direct consequence of civilization pushing back at
nature with its overpopulation. Within weeks, the plague had run rampant
through the city with our mother and both my siblings succumbing to its
voracity. With only father and I left as survivors, we fled far from the
city seeking refuge in the untamed wilderness. His heart broken fathers
entire nature, overcome with grief and despair, increasingly diminished.
Slowly, he withered away, becoming a shadow of his former self until his
ultimate death. I will never forget the last night I spent with him in
this very cabin. His life fading before my eyes and with his last dying
breath, he whispered, Never forget my mistake. The cities are a disease,
a plague spreading across the lands. Use what I have taught you and make
them pay for what they did to us. I swore to him as he took his last
dying breath that I would do just that.
