Half ah lifetime past, Ah was one o' them fool Battleragers - They were all puffed up 'bout crushin' wizards till them
spellslingers actually came knockin'. Quick as roaches scurryin' from the light, their so-called valor turned to whimpers
an' snivels. They flapped their gums somethin' fierce, ahn pranced 'round like kings o' the caverns all puffed up. But
truth told, they scattered at the first whisper o' real danger. An' Ah couldn't lay a finger on any O' me sisters en
brothers O' tha Battleragers. They all be knowin' full well they was protected from me craft, this done infuriated me ter
tha core!

Cycles on cycles, Ah gritted me teeth whilst they played at bein' heroes. Till one fateful day when that buildin' rage
finally burst forth. Them lily-livered pups that weren't even hatched when Ah fought mages had the nerve to mock me! That
rotten centaur whelp Eeke an' some snot-nosed gnome runt laughed at me struggles, callin' me worthless when it were their
own fool actions that led to their demise. An' they tried to claim it were me fault somehow! That were the final dambler
crack that broke the rockbat's back. Ah couldn't no more stomach their weakness an' that fool's courage they hid behind.
Ah saw 'em true then - snivelin' runts undeservin' o' any real power, beggin' fer what they didn't earn. An' Ah knew only
tha Empire could grant such strength an' order, havin' no use fer weaklings that crumple at the first threat.
So Ah turned me back on that sad lot forever more. Let the curs play at bein' heroes if it sweetens their dreams o'
self-importance. But not me - Ah thirsted fer tha Maul, the perfectin' order that'd put them sniffers in their rightful place.

An' that's when Rillan hisself came callin'. That dark god led me afore the Emperor's vanquisher. As Ah knelt, he laid
his splittin' maul cross me shoulders with a mighty thud. "Ye've been forged true in strife's fires, Wumrg," Rillan
rumbled. "An' ye've proven yer mettle. Arise anew, a crimson shadow honed fer the Empire's purposes."
With them words, Rillan bound me soul to the Empire through the bloodoath. Ah felt that dark power course through me
veins as the Emperor looked on, solemn-like. From that day forth, Ah was reborn - a shadow sworn to enforce the new order
by any means needed. Rillan told me Ah had one cycle o' the moons to come up with a thousand golden blazes fer him an'
another thousand ter donate to the shadow sect, which Ah knew would spell bad omens if Ah failed an' become anathema. Ah
seek to become the shadowlord, me rightful place at the Emperors side!

Ah'll be pilin' tha bones into mountains if any daren't impede tha Empire's inexorable march! Fer Ah am Wumrg, Trapper
an' Poisoner, thrivin' through tha harshest conditions. An' order shall be achieved, no matter ow many shallow graves Ah
must dig ter make it so!

At 114 cycles , Ah'm standin' tall among tha Battleragers, well-seasoned en
trappin' an' poisonin'. But makin' it here? Weren't no easy stroll through
tha caverns, let me tell yer. Them shapeshifters, they kept on me trail
relentless-like. Jaulvad, ah right powerful assassin, aimed ter shatter me
when Ah had a mere 29 titles. He stripped me bare, wantin' ter break me. But
then, he slept. That mistake O' his, It only stoked me fire, drivin' me even
harder. Reduced ter ash, Ahh rose fiercer, gainin' titles with each rebirth,
trainin' harder than ever. Every time Ah returned, Ah came back even
stronger.

As Ah toughened up, Jaulvad sought ter bring me down more, bestin' me with
his advantage. He stripped me again, but it just fueled tha flames O' me
resolve. Meanwhile, shapeshifters, they swarmed me, relentless packs that
kept on takin' me down. But here Ah stand, defiant ahn tauntin' tha wizards,
challengin' 'em ter come face me. Their magic? Nothin' but ah shadow against
me unyieldin' spirit an skills.

And amid all that strife, Jaulvad, tha very one who aimed to break me,
turned. He became an unexpected ally. Together, we faced them swarms, workin'
en tandem against tha unyieldin' swarm that aimed ter crush us.

Chapter 2

Shadows receded as Wumrg clawed her way to freedom, compelled by smoldering
oaths taken in the Underdarks gloom. Strange vistas unfurled overhead, yet
still she found no respite from grim memories etched underneath.

Sunlights unfamiliar brilliance now bathed her charred skin, standing
apart from the unrelenting darkness once called home. Verdant meadows
stretched invitingly yet could not eclipse visions of kinfolk smoldering,
their twisted agony seared into Wumrgs mind. Such vile deaths birthed iron
resolve to oppose the arcane, to become a scourge against the careless
sorcerers who treat lives as playthings.

Disguised amidst Theras dwarves, Wumrgs false beard shrouded dual
lineage, masking the duergar blood that marked her for torment. Ax and guile
maintained the facade while her russet eyes scoured tirelessly, seeking
sorcerous shadows that must be extinguished. Determination grew within her,
nourished by memories of flames consuming all she loved. The time had come to
douse such pyres forevermore.

Crossing Kinnas path catalyzed destinys forge, their shared contempt
welding kindred spirits. Identifying Wumrgs resolve, the dwarf warrior
revealed her battlerager bonds Thera's greatest warriors who crushed the
arcane. Her gift was an elegant dagger forged without magics stain,
presented with an oath: Sink this inter tha spine O' ah wizard, that's ow
ye repay me.

Chapter 1

As a young dwarf/duergar hybrid, Wumrgs hidden sanctuary was shattered
when Teth Azeleths archmage assaulted it, hungering to exploit her rare
lineage through twisted experiments. She cried out in dwarvish as arcane
flames roared, her father Rumnaheim bellowing Flee lass! in his gruff
brogue while her duergar mother Vrutha unleashed guttural curses against such
vile magic.

Helplessly witnessing mystical fires warp her parents into contorted agony
before silencing them forever, fury and anguish hollowed Wumrgs spirit.
Scrambling through flaming wreckage, she claimed her fathers false beard,
singed yet intact on his melted face, using sap and ash to bond it as a
disguise for her unique heritage.

Staggering into collapsing mines as the sanctuary foundation gave way, Wumrg
swore an oath- one day she would raze Teth Azeleth's soaring towers for such
sins against her bloodline. Its archmage would choke on hellish flames...an
inferno to erase the mystical oppression allowing such torture in the
Underdark.

Wandering those gloomy tunnels fueled her hatred, vile images haunting a
young Wumrg.. her kins agony as arcana melted their flesh, the archmage
grinning as her world burned. She witnessed the full depravity magic
inflicted casually, mindflayers claiming sentience as their plaything, drow
flesh-shapers creating driders. Gifted mages had forgotten lives
quivered helplessly under their domineering spells.
They would reap what they sowed.

After years hiding disguised amongst dwarves, blending shadows with axe and
guile, Wumrgs conviction renewed. The time had come for baptism by the
very flames that shattered her innocence. Soon she would return to the
Underdark transformed, no longer fleeing magic but ruthlessly hunting it.
Through courage and cunning she would become a scourge against mystical
oppression so that no more need fear the fate her parents suffered. many
towers beyond Teth Azeleth would feed the cleansing fires, so that one day
the tortured might find hope emerging from arcanas burnt out husk.
