Chapter 1

In the outskirts of a town nestled between rolling hills and dense forests,
there lived a humanoid lizard creature named Krarkrax. Born into a family of
revered priests, Krarkrax was raised amidst the ancient rituals and sacred
traditions of his kind. From a young age, he showed promise in the ways of
priesthood, learning the intricate supplications and sacred rites passed down
through generations.

However, Krarkrax was different from his kin. From the moment he gazed upon
his reflection in the shimmering waters of a nearby pond, he became
enraptured by his own image. Vanity gripped his heart like a vice, and he
grew obsessed with his own self-image, believing himself to be superior to
his fellow saurian.

As Krarkrax matured, his vanity only intensified. He would spend hours
preening his ebony scales, adorning himself with jewels and finery stolen
from his family's sacred artifacts. His prayers became self-centered,
focusing not on the well-being of his community, but on his own desires and
ambitions.

Despite his family's attempts to instill humility and piety in him, Krarkrax
remained obstinate, his pride swelling with each passing day. He would flaunt
his perceived superiority to the other saurian, mocking their appearance and
belittling their accomplishments.

As time went on, Krarkrax's arrogance began to sow seeds of discord within
his community. His fellow saurian grew resentful of his conceited nature, and
whispers of discontent echoed through the town. Yet, Krarkrax remained
oblivious to the turmoil he had caused, convinced of his own greatness.

One fateful day, as Krarkrax stood before a mirror, admiring his reflection
and reveling in his own magnificence, a sudden realization dawned upon him.
He saw not the image of a divine being, but the twisted visage of a powerful
entity consumed by vanity. The image became muddled and twisted and after a
few moments the image of the dark entity then became that of a graveyard
covered in a foul mist and lastly a decrepit church was visible, rising
through the mists.

Shattered by this revelation, Krarkrax fell to his knees, tears mingling with
the waters of his reflection. In that moment Krarkrax knew he must seek out
this entity, for how could such a dark essence distract him from his own
beautiful gaze.

Chapter 2

In the depths of Krarkrax' twisted soul, there burned a darkness that could
not be extinguished by the light of redemption. Rejecting the path of
humility and compassion, he embraced his vanity with fervent zeal, seeking
not redemption, but power and dominion over all who dared to stand in his
way.

Driven by his insatiable hunger for self-glorification, Krarkrax embarked on
a quest for forbidden knowledge, seeking out the greatest library in the
realm. There, amidst dusty tomes and ancient scrolls, he delved into the
mysteries of vanity, scouring the pages for the key to unlocking his true
potential.

In his relentless pursuit of power, Krarkrax uncovered the name of a deity
whispered only in hushed tones among the most depraved and wicked souls: the
Great God of Vanity..MORIUS. With newfound purpose, he swore fealty to this
malevolent deity, offering his undying devotion in exchange for unholy power.

As a testament to his newfound allegiance, Krarkrax committed the ultimate
sacrilege. He lured his own brother, a fellow priest of their revered order,
into a trap, his heart consumed by envy and malice. With cold calculation, he
struck him down, his brother's lifeblood staining the sacred ground beneath
them.

In a twisted display of devotion, Krarkrax melted down his brother's
belongings, fashioning them into grotesque vestments to his own vanity.
Adorned with jewels and precious metals, he adorned them as a grim reminder
of the depths of his depravity, a beacon to all who dared to defy him.

With each passing day, Krarkrax power grew, his influence spreading like a
malignant shadow across the saurian village.

Yet, even as Krarkrax reveled in this sacrifice, a darkness loomed on the
horizon, a force far greater than any mortal ambition. For in his blind
pursuit of vanity, he had unwittingly awakened ancient evils that hungered
for the souls of the living.

As the tendrils of darkness closed in around him, Krarkrax stood defiant, his
heart consumed by the same arrogance that had led him down this path of
damnation. He hoped the Great God of Vanity gazed upon his most devoted
disciple with eyes as cold as death, Krarkrax knew that his fate had been
sealed from the moment he embraced the darkness within.
