Chapter 1

Somehow these sessions of self mutilation did not kill him, or injure him
greatly somehow he healed swiftly, far quicker than a half-elven should. Some
say it is the source of the strange language that has been tattooed onto his
face, the runes give him strength, power, good health, drawing their power
from dark powers unknown. Leaving the cult, not willing others to paint his
picture for him, he decided to mould the land with his dedication, in his
pursuit of power, he will use who he must, to achieve what he wants. To see
the innocent, the meek, the weak burned, their ashes perhaps, turned into
something useful.

Chapter 2

Lightning cracks in the pitch black sky, lighting up the land for a brief
instant, in that instant, a dark man, looks about his self, realising all
hope is lost, he offered out, the one thing he had to save his life, his son.
The cloaked figures smirking at each other quickly snatched away the bundle
of towels shielding the child from the storm, as the figures turned to leave
the man breathed a sigh of relief, when the face of relief was turned in an
instant to a face of shock, another crack of lightning revealed a dark figure
behind the man, cackling with glee, holding a sword wedged through the torso
of the dark man. As the figure withdrew his sword from the corpse, lightning
strikes once again, lighting the mans malicious face, covered in a gruesome
tattoo, it seems to be writing of some foreign language, grinning down at the
child he muttered a strange prayer and then said My child, you have no idea
of your future
As the half-elven child grew in this, dysfunctional family, he grew with the
knowledge that he was half pure, half a lightwalker, and he despised his self
for it. When he reached puberty, and his hormones kicked into overdrive, he
became violent, first unleashing his rage and hate upon other adolescent cult
members, but soon, he turned onto his self, trying to cut out the elf inside
of him, he disfigured his own ears with a crude blade, cutting them like one
would cut a tree, he made his ears smaller, now they resemble disfigured
protrusions, more like gnarled rocks on the edge of the ocean. Moving on from
his ears he moved to his eyes, his delicate, slender eyes, he began cutting
the edges, making the more round, no longer slender they became disfigured,
his eyes now too long, almost as though a large tear scarred his eye sockets.
