Wurkun the Templar Footman
DescriptionAt a small height of three feet and eight inches, this dwarf idly stands befo A long beard extends from the chin, covered in soot with a bit of white. Small, yet awfully muscular arms protrude from the torso. In a similar fashion, stumpy legs stand the body up. The skin is rather dark for a dwarf, perhaps covered and blackened a bit. The hands are covered in scars, perhaps all is scar tissue. While weapons are slung around the body, a blacksmith's hammer is present. The eyes gleam as they gaze in your direction, a vivid blue color. Pearly white teeth contrast the surronding darkened beard. Further inspection shows...

Immortal CommentsTue Oct 19 13:27:11 2004 by 'Grurk' at level 6 (4 hrs): Pray, log off, pray, log off, pray, log off. Shame we are not just sitting around waiting for prayers, might have time to get to him before he logs off. Owell.
Thu Oct 21 00:33:39 2004 by 'Grurk' at level 15 (12 hrs): Told to make 15th rank and seek me again.
Thu Oct 21 01:08:30 2004 by 'Grurk' at level 15 (12 hrs): He did. Empowered in the Rebirth cerimony.
Sat Oct 23 13:49:24 2004 by 'Grurk' at level 24 (28 hrs): Pk'd someone while in a group of 3. Expressly what I told him not to do, as it cheapens Vengeance. Also, he went to the Chasm to pk this person, at Muuloc's request. Breaking tenet 11 of the code.
Sat Oct 23 13:49:59 2004 by 'Grurk' at level 24 (28 hrs): Given a stern warning, and few plagues. This is not acceptable as my follower or as a Paladin.
Wed Oct 27 16:25:40 2004 by 'Grurk' at level 31 (51 hrs): Seems to be back on track, but dying alot more.
Thu Oct 28 00:42:41 2004 by 'Grurk' at level 32 (52 hrs): Ganged a Neutral Trib with 2 others in his group. Unempowered. He'll have to impress the hell out of me to regain empowerment.

RoleChapter 1 From old to new. Added Mon Oct 18 15:49:44 2004 at level 6:Perhaps more would be understood of my path if my background was clear. I knew very little of my mother, dwarven women are rare as they are, and similar to boot. So my father was the one who taught me the knowledge that i hold in my young life. He was a blacksmith, much like most dwarves, for we are great at such. But he was the best Blacksmith within my village, which used to stand west of Akan. That city does not exist any more, for in days past, evil came to take it. Even with the splendid weapons my father forged for our village, we could not win. Their numbers were too great, too impossible to conquer, but fight we did. My blackened hands were formed from my days at the forge with my father and that battle. A sorcerous demon cast fire upon me, and I blocked such with my hands, leaving them scared forever. My father fell that day, as he threw his sword through the leader, others slew him. I derive Anger from these memories, but only a little, for True Anger I still have yet to be taught. Because of this, I seek a new Father, one that will teach me how to use my Anger. And the evil in Thera shall know the name of Wurkun.

RoleChapter 2 Importance. Added Thu Oct 14 15:47:27 2004 at level 1:What is most imprtant to accomplish in a mortal life? Some seek greatness, others see entertainment, there are many paths of life. Must a person leave a mark upon these lands to be remembered? Each has their own story and reason to do what they wish to do. Some seek knowledge, some power, some to be the best of all. But what defines even great strength? The power of the mind? Is a giant with two swords of power stronger than a gnome with knowledge? Many races stake claims within these realms, like myself. Each hold their own view; I see greatness in the heart of each. A commander of anything is not great without the heart to led troops. A mage is not effective in his deeds with the heart to control his mind. Those that wallow in darkness have iced their hearts so they do not feel. They have forgotten what gives all their life and emotions, minus dark or powerful magics at work. Many the dark-heart use anger and greed as a driving force for their exsistance. But in doing so they do not feel True Anger in their cold hearts, they are incapable. True Anger is fiery like the forge, searing in heat, harsh light shining. Do I use the light to protect others? If it is possible I do so. But the darkness cannot affect others if it doesn't exist within these Theran lands. With my sword I shall burn them, pierce them through the heart. My sword will render their flesh, igniting it, the sword searing hot from a good forge. True Anger strikes the darkness, clearing it from the lands to truly protect those in need. My heart will flare and my life will be meaningfull, worthwhile. Thus my journey to become great and important has begun. Anger shall feel my limbs, and strike down foe unworthy of breath.
