Chapter 5

Never have I come across a beautiful place of the Light, the shinning
fields where not even snow-flakes can survive warms my heart with the
purity of Light. There is no evil here; simply does not exist and yet
I am so far from reality as I fast in the isolation to center myself
in faith and the purity of the Light. I've traveled to many places and
have seen many things; all in which has matured me since the first
time I stood before the spear-maiden. So much much has transpired and
been learned that I do not know where to start. But here, shining in
the fields; I regret I will have to leave soon.

Word has traveled to me from the real-world; that there has been some
issues with other responding to the defense of the Fortress; this is
a sign that I cannot yet be in this eternal peace. There is more work
to be done and while I am so attracted to this place; alas all things
must come to an end.

Perhaps one day I can see Thera in this way; peaceful with solace and
days where the sun never sets. Where the springs run merrily with
clean and un-tainted water; I would be foolish not to fill my canteen
before I depart here. The water is so pure.

As I look back at all that I have accomplished in life and my growth,
I embrace the findings within Morton, the findings of my people and
where I come from; the gauntlet-bearing blacksmith known as my father.

In a case I open in the plains of the field; the gauntlets of GoldFistz.

Passed down to me by the priests; they are but relics and an ancient
artifact. They were used in the old age and passed down through the
generations. Now it is my turn to bare them. To what secret powers do
they possess? For the legends speaks of enemies dying by the dozen in
events pf war and combat. To me, I see nothing but a shell of what it
once was; still my bloodline and heritage are within. To this end I
shall cherish them in the name of my fore-fathers and hope that it is
my destiny to restore the power of gauntlets; I see can make the enemy
shudder.

To the east out go, out of the fields and back into the pits of Thera.

Chapter 4

A scribe now, but I act as if I already an
Acolyte. Always offering my services to the
Squires and Maran's in hopes their path is
true, and remaining steadfast; I value the
work they do. Walking the Halls of the
Maran I notice not too far the Forge of the
Light; some consider it the single most
known tool of the dwarves; at least those
that make weapons exceptional. Instinctively
attracted to it, I ran my hands about the
freezing Anvil.


Brushing away the flakes of the season, I
drift into a trance of somekind, a dazing
day-dream.

The dream I observe a dark room, the smell
of molting lava and burning mithril. The
clashing of hard iron; overshadowed by a
blinding white light. I could now seen a
black surfaced anvil, polished and coated
with a smooth mithril foundation. A large
arm, bulging with massive strength. Another
slam from an enormous hammer striking a
sword laid bare on the anvil.

The strikes continue and they become even
louder with each swing. The snow flakes
seem to evaporate in thin air as flickers
of metal sparks flare wildly about the
room. There I notice it!

It was not the metals of the hammer or the
forging sword, but the Gauntlets about
the blacksmith hands. With each swing they
seem to glow; with a surge of power being
added for every strike. The gauntlets are
made of mithril with stones in place of
where the knuckles are. Each gem is of a
different color; un-natural in all aspects.

Paying closer attention, before waking up
abrutly by the sound of a Squire asking me
to help him in Mortan, I see the flaring
of words; GoldFistz.

Surely, I must go to Morton to assess this
dream, nothing is by coincidence for all
things are Fate.

Role

Chapter 3

It has been months since I had soaked my
hands in the holy water. Vanquishing the
darkness of places such as the Azreth Forest
and the vile of the Past's life.

It was on this one particular seasonal eve
I alas laid eyes on the Spear-Maiden. Proud
to stand before her; she set a few things
straight, and as my teacher; provided much
needed guidance in areas of my cabal of
note.

While I considered a life in the Spire, it
was fate that I did not join before knowing
the evil I would be exposing myself to,
even if it was with good intentions.

Leaving her Ruins as the flakes continue
to start and stop; I contemplate her words.
How can I apply it to my life, and more so
how can I truly achieve a strong, reputable
status within the light. With her blessing
and empowerment came wisdom; I'd like to
think course was corrected.

Looking to how I can further dig myself
into the trenches of the Light, I turn to
the Fortress and as a Scribe to truly help
the rising and protection of the Light.

This begins my journey and one I am truly
honored to walk.

Chapter 2

The ceremony of dedication; a paladin's most cultural
ceremony. Most are taken in the pool of the blessed
or before the guildmaster whom bestow specialized
teachings.

Mines was before the Ruins of the Jaguar; dipping
my hands into the waters of the pure, I could feel
a sense of knowledge overwhelm me. I had left the
my dedication to the divine to bestow; and in their
wisdom; a monk arose.

Removing my hand from the pool of 'holy' water it
for a moment flickered in the strangest of ways. I
had never seen such before. The heritage of my people
were known to possess 'divine' powers through their
hands, but it required holy gloves, or gauntlets of
fine mithril.

But this seemed different, as flakes dropped from
the skies onto my bare hands; in this season of
Yuletide. Something about this season is full of
surprises.

Role

Chapter 1

I like to fight, brawl more specifically. Nothing
beats a bar, with liquid-courage. The power of the
ale or beer; whatever your preference. My mind go
numb and I brawl with natural predatory instincts;
less thinking and more acting. My fists are my tools
that other refine through metals, woods; nothing is
better than the good old fist. I live a life of the
Code and my dedication to the light is un-yielding.

I have an affinity for law and a respect for what
Order represents; even if it is manipulated most of
the time. What gets my fire burning the most is the
Imperials; likely my number one enemy. The Empire
is why I am in the mainland and not back home in
Morton.

Taken many moons ago to serve as a slave to them, it
was either that or death. This is how I learned to
cope with life in it's depression, but also is where
I built faith and hope. You see without faith, I am
nothing more than a dwarf; but I am alive because of
it and I wish to show others the glory it can bring.

Rescuing me grips of darkness; a followers of the
jaguar came in form of a mysterious assassin. Ever
since then, I do not fear easily. In time my personal
goal is to become a brawling champion and earn my
name in the stories of combatants and legends whom
gave their blood and sweat to the Arena; for the
glory of battle.

Hardened yet pure heart; I take my retribution against
the Empire and those of the darkness everywhere.
