Chapter 1

Makhtar has been energised since his meeting and subsequent blessing by the
Divine Smith, Aarn.
He has begun to do what he has promised and has gone to meet the darklings
face to face,
dispatching a number of them. Similarly he has gone amongst the populace and
spread word of Aarns' Teachings.
A friendship of sorts has developed between himself and Naldin, he has come
to trust in some way this manling who claims to be born of dwarves.

Due to certain instances thus far, namely tribunals assissting a scarabite
necromancer against him and another protecting a necromancer, Makhtar has
come to distruct their numbers.

Since developing his kinship with Naldin Makhtar has expressed to the
Fortress an interest in enlisting.

Role

Chapter 2

In truth it had been unwarranted flashes of anger that took Makhtar down the
healing path. He sought to temper the fierceness within, conscious that to
embrace it may consume him rather than make him.
Makhtar was a peaceful cleric, but locked within burned a greater power that
would propel him to greater things. Grief was to prove the key that would
unlock it.

Makhtar was called to Gol'Galath, and travelled there with a company of
dwarves. His superiors had decided to promote him to the guild to join the
new intake. Having some time off before being appointed, he sent for his
family. Alas, during the journey from Akan, Orcs, driven to madness by hunger
and recent slaughter, waylaid them. His entire family, and their entourage,
were slain and eaten. Only twisted fragments of metal remained. When Makhtar
heard of this, he went quite mad, and, in grief, shaved off his beard.

Makhtar spent much time in a tumult of anger and disbelief at the events that
had taken place and again it was the healing arts that allowed him to control
the rage that broiled within his soul until such a time as he could allow it
to take its proper place in his life.

Makhtars hatred for the enemies of the dwarves and his fervent spirit for the
destruction of all the dark forces that attack the good and honest lands
having been stoked by many a fireside tale of the Clan elders did as many
young dwarves do. He sought Aarns smithy.

He would not give in to that which burned within, would not sacrifice his
life for naught, but he would feed its desire.
He shall never rest and never falter while evil walks the land.
