Demoted per Khaso's and mine conversations about the direction of Empire. He chose to remain in, so I titled him as a retired Emperor, so as to not loose too much face or ruin the guy's character.

Chapter 1

Three cyprian harlots shivered as they reached the top of
the stairs leading into the Palace Throne Room. They were
told it was a special assignment for Emperor Yagharek, and
could only imagine what he had in mind. They entered, and
seated alone within his Throne Room was the Emperor. He sat
wearing nothing but a small cloth about his loins. As he
looked up at the whores, one began to reach for the buttons
on her blouse, only to be haulted my a massive fire giant
hand.

"That was not what I had in mind. For long I have remained
selfless and humble. Solely devoted to the Empire. For too
long I have carried this filth. Two of you will remove
the filth, hair, and stench from me. The last of you will
go to the finest merchants you know of, and find me clothes
fit for an Emperor."

As the Emperor finished he motioned towards the corner of
his Throne Room. A tub filled with hot soapy water was drawn.
Scissors, razors, and sponges of different ilks filled a
table. And next to it all was a massive bag of gold coins.
The harlots needs no instructions. As the Emperor slid slowly
into the hot bath, two of the women picked up grooming
instruments and the third scurried off to find clothes.

Chapter 2

The first contact I had with them Empire was when I was quite
young. I was playing on the Outskirts of Hamsah one day when
a few knights rode by on their mighty horses. I diverted my eyes,
trying my hardest to not draw attention. All I heard was the word
'ugly' before a boot struck me square in the back, sending me
sprawling. I looked up and the holy men were laughing and making
jokes at my disfigurement. One of them pulled his blade. Before
I knew what happened, several Blades and a Divine seemed to appear
out of thin air, striking the knights dead within moments.
The Divine pulled me to my feet, brushed me off, and before I
could muster up a thanks, they were gone. From that day on I stared
up at the Palace from Hamsah, prideful that they were the only
ones ever to stand up for such a wretched giant as myself. In
time I grew to see that the Empire were the only ones who not only
protected civilization, but the civilized as well. The Tribunals
confine themselves to such a small part of the lands, while the
mighty Empire strives to keep a watchful eye on all the lands. It
was not long at all before I realized that I must take the Oath,
and strive to see what embraced me forged forward and embraced
others.
