#7890, "[OUTLANDER] Aryze Amakiir the Grand Mistress of Changelings, Adherent of the Glade"
|
Aryze Amakiir the Grand Mistress of Changelings, Adherent of the Glade
DescriptionHere stands a tall, slender, well-toned half-elf with a slight, if somewhat forced smile. She has a natural dark tan and has bright, emerald green eyes that seem to penetrate those she looks at. These brilliant eyes seem to show a kinder, softer nature than most of the rest of her appearance would suggest. Her long, flowing auburn red hair with a few silver strands drapes down her back. There is the occasional twig and leaf in her hair, giving you the impression that she spends most of her time in the woods. This athletic-looking, sure-footed half-elf moves in a very quick and deliberate matter, seemingly knowing exactly what her next step is. She gazes off in the distance, seeming very troubled. Despite this, you can sense that she does have time in her life for celebration. She seems very wise and intelligent, despite the fact that she seems to be distracted. Scars run across her body, but from what, you cannot tell. Her skin, although sun-kissed, is muddied and scratched from the apparent travel she does in the woodlands. Despite these faults, she has a very earthy beauty and looks much like a full-blooded elf(and even much like a nymph), even if she is somewhat unrefined and dirty.

RoleChapter 1 Aryze's plan Added Mon Oct 17 13:51:22 2005 at level 51:started talking to Aryze more and more, and she let him. But, this fact tormented her.why let the beast speak when he was stealing souls? She did not know, but still she never stopped him. They talked to each other, about various things, but they usually had to do with very, very dark thingsthings that horrified the once innocent girl.
Harkan, did what he can to torment her, for he knew thatshe cared about him, even if she did not know it herself. He began to work with her, trying to corrupt her very existence. Aryze, became apathetic. She was scared of nothing, Harkan could have killed her, for all she cared, but she listened, and realized thatthe fiend had began to trust the outlander.
The trust, of course, was incomplete, but she learned much about the process of taking souls, the collection, his goals. She, despised everything he spoke of, but yet she could not bring herself to hate him. Aryze, had no wish to harm Harkan, she cared too much, but she knew he had to be stopped, though she continued listening to Harkan's words. Much of what he said, she relayed to the fortress, and began to gather information from others, including his victims. She did soto warn others, and to learn how Harkan can be stopped.
It soon became apparent, that slaying Harkan would notdo the trick. She had a deep suspicion that even if the fortress did slay him, they would not have possession of the flasks. There had to be some way, some way to stop him.
Harkan, was truly a mystery to be solved, but she did not knowwhat her life was worth.
Over time, Aryze realized truly how much Harkan trusted her, and how much information he gives her. She, decided to ignore her despair and her lost faith, for she had to do the unthinkable. It would cost her much, and perhaps even destroy her in the process, but she must regain those 14 souls, somehow, someway.
She, decided that the only hope, was to walk among the shadows, the nightmares. Learn their ways, learn the fiend's grand scheme. She had thought, that perhaps she will find a way to recover the flasks this way, it was the only way. She had to stand by the corruption to save others from corruption. In other words, she had to trick Harkan in speaking too much.
Aryze, knew that, she would be corrupted if she does this.it is almost impossible to live among fiends and not become one yourself, but she was going to fight for her life, for the 14 souls. Nothing will make her give up, until she fell in her last battle. She will save those souls, one way or another, even if she would risk everything, including her entire being.
As Atchertene said, "What better way is there to bring light to the Nightmares, then to walk among them." She will fight from the inside, something almost unheard of, and even allow herself to be destroyed, but she is not about to let those souls be corrupted and destroyed. No one deserved this torture, not even the soul of the imperial. She will trick the fiend, and then find a way to destroy and stop the fiend, even if she cared about him.
He will be stopped

RoleChapter 2 The realization Added Mon Oct 17 13:39:25 2005 at level 51:Aryze, spoke to Harkan this time, and demanded answers. He was, not giving about them, as she had suspected he would be. She asked that Harkan, rethink his cruel ways, expecting to be scoffed at. She was, as she thought he wouldbut she was completely disappointed. Deep down, even after all that Harkan had done to hershe cared about him, but she would not admit this, even to herself.
She argued with Harkan, for quite some time, trying to show him that his ways will only end in a very bad way. He was not convinced.and eventually she came desperate and angry, especially after she had found out that he had stolen her soul. She cursed at him and threatened to kill him, if he did not give her essence back, but Harkan refused.
As she continued to threaten Harkan, and insulting him, Harkan became even crueler than he was, and threatened to give the life force to his Lord, the Leviathan. This was to be one of the worse fates, one can imagine. This beast, could control you completely if he had your life force. Harkan, finally tried to summon this beast, but something was interfering, time was given to her, but Harkan was convinced that Aryze would be dead by the end of the week.
But even, when he considered something so cruel, he begged an elf, Feichin, to aid Aryze, to protect her in this time of need. It is hard to tell what his true intentions wereby asking him to do such a thing, but perhaps deep down, he did have some flicker of humanity, or perhaps he had just wanted people to think that he did.
Time continued, and Harkan still had the flask containing Aryze's essence, he had seemed to forget to give the essence the flaskbut even then Aryze began to be tormented. Hate for herselffor not hating the fiend began to consume her. Slowly, shefelt the undying guilt grow within her, eating her away. She could not escape it, everywhere she went, this feeling would be there, destroying her slowly.
She began to despair as hope began to fade, but she still clinged on to hope, for perhaps her dear Atchertene would be able to help her.But he, instead, was angry that Aryze did such a thing, and even shut himself to her. This had devastated the already broken girl. She cried, again, but not for essencebut for the lost of her best friend. How can she feel so alone? So horrible? It was unthinkable.and yet she still did not hate the beast. This fact alone made her conflicted. How can she care about a thingso foul? She could not tell, but all she knew, is that she would never, ever aid the beast in his plans, whatever they were.

RoleChapter 3 The drowning Added Mon Oct 17 13:27:47 2005 at level 51:The huntress called out for help. The spirelings, four of them, have came to destroy the Refuge. Aryze, the young warden, heed the call for aid, and rushed to the rescue of the refuge. A battle raged between her and the fourshe slowly weakening them with her lemur and orangutan forms. She fell the necromancer, rather quicklybut the other three, she had a hard time battling, but still, she was slowly winning.
During this battle, the Spirelings called for aid, for they began to need another to fight the warden. A large eagle came from the sky, a shapeshifter, aiding the spire. She fought the eagle, just as she fought the Spirelings, but they ended up much too much for her. She felljust as the necromancer did, and the fetish was lost.
Aryze, wandered around a bit, contemplating on her lost, when the shapeshifter, in the form of the Eagle, began to speak to her. She demanded him to tell him why, he had harm the Huntress, but he was adamant about not telling her. This shapeshifter, Harkan, offered his aid, but naturally aid from such a treacherous being was unwanted, or was it?
Harkan, prodded Aryze for her weakness, for he wanted something of hers: her essence, life force, if you will. He asked her to drown for him willingly. Aryze, at first was horrified at the thought. Why would anyone willing want to commit suicide in such a way? But, Harkan, using her weakness, her want to protect others slowly destroyed her will.
He promised to protect the refuge, and to never fight against it ever again, that he would fight the Spirelings, just as Aryze did. He promised that Aryze, would have an ally, someone to come to if she wanted help with somethinganything. Aryze, was quite interested in the offer to protect the younger, less able ones of the refuge. That moment, she fell, and agreed to do the unthinkable.
She sat, underwater with the dark being, waiting for the moment to comethe moment to breathe out as she drowned. As she gasped for air, Harkan, urged her to relax, to not worry, it will all be over soon, and he will be her ally. Darkness overtook herand she breathed out as she drowned. Of course, as usual, her body was reformedbut she felt different. How? She did not know, other than something truly was wrong. She had not realized thatthat fiend had taken her life force. She had to do something about it.

RoleChapter 4 Aryze Amakiir Added Wed Sep 7 13:38:10 2005 at level 2:Perhaps I should introduce myself. I am Aryze Amakiir, daughter of Aust and Vera Amakiir. I have one twin brother, Aerandir. I was born in the wilderness, for both of my parents thought that was the safest place after the ran away from the clutches of the empire, who kept them as slaves and workers. My parents met each other as slaves, and had to work hard, but when the slave drivers were not looking, they devised a plan to escape. They took the first available moment to run off and live out in the wilds, for it was much more difficult to track those who live in the wilds than in the city. Besides, neither of my parents much liked civilization after what the empire did to their homes.
My parents, being the first runaway slaves, known(I am sure there have been others, but I am also sure that the empire likes to keep those things quiet), instigated a rebellion. They started off slowly, and only freed one or two slaves at a time, even while they took care of my brother and I. When we both grew old enough, we aided our parents and the other slaves, for both of us were disgusted at the empire for taking control of the people. People should be free, and not restricted to following the rules of the Empire, or the Spire.
In any case, the rebellion was doing decently. Our family and the other escapees were happy just to hear one slave freed in a week, but we were doing better than that. We knew to free all the slaves, it would take a large amount of work, but we all wanted to help others in their plight, for slavery is a very cruel practice. In any case, my family's last break away failed.
Seeing that we had freed many hundreds of slaves this time, my family decided that we were strong enough to storm the small arm of the Empire, where they kept only a few dozen slavers, and maybe twice the slaves. Our goal was to free the slaves, and, if given the chance, slay the slavers. It was suffice to say that the Empire knew our plans(we had a traitor in our midst!) and sent back up to this arm, and when we came, they killed the slaves, and the ones that they could, like myself and my brother, they knocked out and captured.
I am not sure what happened to most of the runaways, but my guess is that most of them were either killed, or were forced to become slaves again. All I know is that I woke up in a very dark dungeon, behind bars, with about dozen or so others, including my brother. None of us had any idea what was in store for us, but we found out very quickly.
The Empire sent people to come down and torture us, one by one for information. Most, finally fell to the torture and spoke about the plans. They were taken away. Killed, I presumed, for the Empire had no use for them. My brother and I, stayed silent, and after a year or so of daily torture, they stopped coming. Gave up, I expect, and decided that we would just die from hunger. What they did not know, was that my brother was a healer, and was able to create food and water, with nothing. But even still, it was dark, long days afterwards. Everyday, I thought I would want to die, but my brother and my intuition reassured me that things will change. I would not have to live behind bars for the rest of my life. So, I lived, until we were able to break the locks one day, and leave

RoleChapter 5 The dungeon Added Wed Sep 7 13:33:30 2005 at level 2:"Drip, drip, drip..." you hear a monotonous and repetitive noise coming from a leak in the ceiling of this dark, dank dungeon. The dungeon smells musty and old and there are the remainders of spiders in the form of cobwebs scattered across the dungeon. The cells are filled with torture devices and the remains of their last victims. You know that this place has been deserted for quite some time, and doubt you will find any survivors, from the cruel slavers down this deep in their stronghold. But wait, you hear talking in the distance, in the back corner of the place. How can this be? No one could survive down here for any length of time. Can they?
"Aerandir, do you know how long we have been down here?" A soft, female voice was heard.
"It's quite hard to tell you, Aryze, when we have not seen the light of day for 15 years." A male voice answered.
When you hear this, you come closer to get a better glimpse of the two survivors. One, is of a relatively short male half-elf, and another of a tall, slender female half-elf. The male has dark brown hair with blue eyes. The female, has auburn red hair, and bright emerald green eyes. Both are wearing tattered rags that barely cover their unmentionables. Both show obvious signs of torture, but the scars and evidence had faded away over the apparent years. The two show signs of malnutrition but seem to have survived quite well, considering. By the male, there is a spring of water and some magically created water. This half-elf is definitely a healer, judging by this scene. The female, you cannot tell. You judge that both seem to be about the same age, both of which are still quite young, for half-elves.
"Do you think we will ever get out of this place alive, brother?" The female asked.
"We will, when the locks rust over. Then we can break the locks, and leave when we can. Our captures quite forgot that we were down here," the other answered.
"I think they thought we would die, imprisoned."
"Perhaps. I would not be surprised. Not many free creatures can survive a dark place like this with no sight of the sun, especially with no food or water."The male waved his hands and a piece of bread appeared in his hands. they underestimated us, no?"
The female just nodded slowly for a moment or two, and both fell silent. The female sit down, staring off into the distance, apparently very troubled. sighs, not exactly knowing what to do or say.
"Oh, brother?" She finally says. "Can we just try to break the locks now? It has been quite some time since we last saw the cruel man. Perhaps the locks are weak enough, especially between the two of us."
"I suppose it cannot hurt. Let us try."
You see the two half-elves struggle to force the lock. After a few moments, they let go of the lock and pant, exhausted.
"I do not think this will do, unfortunately. We must wait," the male said.
"How long, brother?"
"I say a good ten years, or so."
"I can't live like this for ten more years! No! I won't live like a caged, scared animal! It has been too long!" The female runs into the walls and cage bars for a moment or two, and then stops suddenly. "I'm getting out of here, now!"
"Now, Aryze, don't get yourself, too hurt.
"I don't care. I am getting out of here!" You see the femal
