Chapter 9

Upon the Mounts of the Arials, I my fury, simmered. A
moment I feared more then anything. Ellania or Coqui.

Both are Maran's that I long thought my feelings had
strayed from. In reality. I could never harm them. An
angry Dragon; and our tempers. I must move on, for to
be anything beyond whom I am inside would be flawed. I
lost my life before; and I cannot get it back. My rage
now tempered must be transffered to new meaning. What
ever that may be. Life has been unfair to me. Since my
birth I have been met with injustices. But time for
tantrums is over. As a dragon-borne; I suppose my only
path that will define the rest of my life is maturity.

I may have the body and form of a hatchling. But after
this; I am the soul and mind of a matured-Dragon. Alas.

Chapter 8

Where do I go now? What is my purpose? All seem
lost, but the fire and acid in me burns still
somehow and for some reason. I do not know these
things. Roaming through the wilds, skies and at
times feeding on the nothingness of my life. I
left the Fortress because I no longer fit. Being
apart of the Refuge was a possibility, but it
gives me no purpose or meaning. I am angry within
and isolation have turned parts of me cold. a one
true dragon should not succumb to such an life.

Likely the last of my kind, I do not feel myself
my dislike for those imposing against my belief
has hardened me, and more so perhaps the light has
even lost it's spark within me. Darkness exist all
around me and the favor of the sun protects me
no longer from myself, from what is within me, and
what is to come if I continue to endure.

Perhaps the very darkness I spent my life fighting
against, has taken it's toll. Perhaps the lands
must know me again. Perhaps it is the fiery of my
fury, my blood that will see me to the top once
again. Perhaps it takes something bold for me to
bring relevance. I endured pain, I cannot maintain
a life in my normal form without the fragility
attached to me. The more I take the form of the
black dragon hatchling, the further I get away
from the shining purity of my lemur.

What, Indeed shall come for me. The Dragon must &
will find himself again.

Chapter 7

They would want us to be the sword, they wuld use the
power of the Dragons and it's Heir to wage War. We do
not see Life the way they do. We are not Weh, yet we are
shields. Shields for the Marans, for the Light and for
those that seek the Light. Great power has been given
to us and our bloodline requires boundaries, least we
lose our way and that of the Acolyte.

To those that would request aggression beyond the means
to assure the safety of the Orb or of the Light will
find a bold denial and resistance. Even from within the
Fortress.

Confident now, We are ready to ascend to Acolyte. In
our hearts with of course approval from an at times
defiant lemur. We are ready now.

Chapter 6

In my guild, after returning to the mainland,
I find myself embraced by the most wonderous
of insight, the black dragon hatchling. Surely
my dragon blood, has erupted within me. Could
it have been there the whole time? Perhaps I
had to reach a level of maturity before it was
to take hold. Everything is explained. A dragon
will only acknowledge another dragon. The story
and reasoning of the Crimson dragon sparing me
has finally concluded. I am a dragon and my lemur
to compliment it. There is no gift I could ever
receive, better then the knowing.

It is time, to test my limits and soar the skies
as I was born to day. The Dragon-Heir is whom I
am. My birthright, my place and my purpose. Praise
the gods of the heavens, Light and Magic. Praise
the dragon-lord Twist.

Chapter 5

Off in the Thar-Acacia; lemur and I, bonded
through magic; trains vigorously. We know it
is a must we get stronger; mastery of spells
and skills could give us the edge. But, to my
surprise the lemur once again have surprised
me. It's obsession with MAGIC MUSHROOMS has
grown overbearing and a burden to my purse. I
would go as far to say, it does not heed my
call unless I bribe it with one. Perhaps it is
the tinctures and magical vials that gives me
life; perhaps the magic has given the lemur a
edge of control unlike other forms. Wierdly so
we have been through our 'meltdown' phase and
it is perhaps best for me to do as it wishes.

Forged in magic, life through Magic.. we will
return to the mainlands soon, and more powerful
and wise then ever before to care for the Light
and innocent. The Shining Shield.

Chapter 4

=============================================

So I ran into a couple of failures, and still
I ponder, was it meant to be? My Lemur and I
had a troublesome patch and debated strongly on
whether it was worth returning from the Void
after a short tenure away. In this time, it was
internal arguing, conflicting spirits and then
it all stopped. We acknowledged that we needed
each other. The lemur needed me to rise above
his kind and show the lands the power of it's
species; and I as much as I want to deny it,
needed the lemur. For as predicted before, I
am nothing without my magic. Time went on and
in the void we bonded, making a promise never
to give up on one another again. I feel the
strength of my lemur increasing, or perhaps it
is the resolve the Lemur that keeps both of
us beating.

We have returned to the lands fully, and hope
to continue our study as a Scribe and perhaps
soon; an Acolyte.

Surely with Dragon-blood; we would not give up
entirely, so easily.

Chapter 3

I told you I had dragon in my blood. With my
beautiful lemur, I was gifted with the komodo
dragon. Yes, a huge part of my life has been
settled. But now, I ask myself? How much can I
channel the blood of this supportive komodo
dragon? My lemur has grown even closer to my
heart, already dashing into the fray of battle
and even helped the Marans and Squires seal a
kill for the good team. The Emperor at that. On
top of it all, I was able to join by Ellaina
side and repel the orcish horde. I am confident
and able in my abilities and to be Honest, I
could not have done it without my lemur.

With the dragon-blood filtered within my magic
it is no wonder the Crimson dragon let me live.
To tame a dragon is one things, but for it to
recognize you as it's kin, that is another. But
I cannot speak for all dragons, the most foul must
fall and that is a mission of mine. The ancient
mystery of the dragons may be unknown to many. But
with the right channeling of light arcane Magic. I
am a step closer to my ancestors.

Chapter 2

Puzzled if I should take the Lemur, it was the
Captain Coqui that gave me a different perspective.

I am the defender of the unfortunate and well as a
student of arcane magic, I simply won't stand by to
see it bullied. Even the smallest and shunned forms
should be given the chance to shine? The Captain was
right. This lemur and I share something in common,
and thats we are the 'under-dogs' in these lands.

My success and life is tied to Magic, it will be
the lemur that helps me along the way.

Chapter 1

Dagethra, in village better 'known' as the
awakened dragon or the dragon-heir depending
on the village and their translations. I am
a golden product of magic, a dragon explorer
and above all a servant of Twist.

I seek to walk a path of Honesty, using my
magic as a tool to erradicate aggressors of
the arcane. While these elements are apart of
me, I overall tend to love my free-will and
the very nature of all that is life.

I suffer grave ailments, that others may see
as Flaws. These FLAWS also make me different.
I know pain like no other, being crushed
nearly to pieces in a young encounter with a
dragon. A Crimson Dragon while navigating the
lands. I stumbled upon it, and awoken later
in the infirmary.

No one never knew, how I survived or why the
dragon spared me; but when the shamans came
to my rescue the dragon, had freely let them
take my near lifeless corpse. It was then I
earned the name Dagethra as my 'surname'. I
of course, examined and de-briefed on what had
occured; but I can only attribute my life to
the faith of Twist and the power of the dragons
that flow through me in his faith.

To maintain, I am required to take remedies
and magical serums just to function. I am quite
dependant on this Magic and tied to it. Should
the arcane falter, so does my life in essence.

Defensive in nature, I seek to delve into the
advanced forms of the guild and perhaps akin
even the form of the mighty dragons. For now
it is growing, and growing I must.
