When we first met, I was fortunate to be with another like minded soul who had a taste for bread
and I commented how I prefer my bread dipped in honey. Well in honor of our long lost friend,
my sweet tooth, and your hospitality, I offer this humble gift.

Clarskanian could easily kill the king and take the pen, but that would go against his nature
so he sent this note to King Galeth after trying the kinship route which failed. I do not assume
or expect anything. Merely putting this out there as an avenue for interaction.

Greetings your Majesty!

My name is Clarskanian Maravillana. I am an adventurer of the Fortress, an Acolyte
of the Golden Sun and an exotic pen collector. It has come to my attention that the
craftsmen of your great city are capable of producing beautiful gold pens upon your
request for special occasions. While I do not consider myself to be particularly
special, I do think that my collection is. Therefor I humbly offer my services to
you and your great city with the hope that upon completion of these services I would
be rewarded not with fame nor coin, but with a beautiful gold pen of my own. All I
ask is that such services do not go against my elven nature. Thank you for your time.

Chapter 3

Experimental format #1, lets just talk - continued

Asking for help has opened up a stunning amount of opportunities! There is
one pen that Kreste located that has my total attention, it is a wooden pen,
carved in the shape of a flower that is found in a hollowed tree. I dont know
why but this pen has me totally transfixed! But it has also got me talking
to people more! Another adventure in and of itself! Ive had woodland warriors
talk to me about the Druid Grove in both the today and the yesterday. While
there I stumbled upon this cave with a fascinating painting of a beautiful
woman! She is beautiful yes, but something about her smile gives me the willies.
If I had to guess Id say that she was trouble in her time! I spoke with a
Herald too! That was fun! He said that there was a stage and an area for
performances south of the Inn by the Lyceum. I had no idea! When I went
checking that out I found 2 paint brushes!

Chapter 2

Experimental format #1, lets just talk
.
Wow! Where to begin? I think Ill start where it began, in Galadon!.
Well as you know Im the organized type, always interested in a system
or a method. So I was looking for inspiration for how to organize my
travels. See if I didnt do that Id end up missing places. Well anyway
I wandered into a shop in Galadon and was asked by the proprietor to
find a pen for him and it hit me! A pen collection! I decided I would
scour the lands looking for unusual pens or pens found in unusual places!
It was brilliant! I mean how many people have pen collections?

So I began by wandering, going to different places that I have not yet been.
This went on for a while and I found some interesting things. Im putting
together quite the list! But the real excitement happened when I asked
Kreste if he knows of any unusual pens or pens in unusual places and wow!
He fired off a list of pens I had to try to find! My first exciting surprise
was far to the north. Did you know that the cloud giants have a village all
their own! I know it makes sense if you think about it, but still! I had
no idea! Well in that village I found a feather ink quill. Ooo, it was so
well balanced and writes so well! Kreste also said that there was a pen
carried by a hermit in the Pine Forest, so off I went! I found the hermit.
A kind old man, but he wouldnt exchange his pen with me. I probably could
have forced him to, but that is so not me. Im not going to murder some
innocent person just to get another pen for my collection! But the best
part of this trip was the huntsman! While traveling through the forest a
huntsman asked me for help! Apparently the wolves there have VERY sharp
teeth and this fellow asked me to bring him a very light staff and a very
heavy staff to fight them off with. Of course I did. Merchants had just
decided to trust me enough to examine some of their merchandise before
buying it and that trust was very helpful as I looked for items just the
right weight. So while I did not find a pen for my collection I got to
see a whole new place and help someone! A wonderful adventure!

But it gets even better! Apparently my enthusiasm and search is contagious!
Kreste, my friend who located a bunch of pens for me to search began seeking
them out himself and sending them to me! He got me a delicate quill from a
silver feather from a place called Ktengs Lab. I cant wait to venture there
and see where it came from! He also brought me a pen made from polished bone
from this place called DraMelkhur! A place full of dark and strange things
that I can not wait to explore! I examined this pen carefully. It seems to
be made from someones finger! I told Kreste that I hope it was not from
someone we knew!

Chapter 1

Mom always used to say that I was a walking contradiction, so calm and predictable one moment and then so random the next.
It got me into no small amount of trouble. You see mom and dad were diplomats from Darsylon stationed in Voralian City.
I guess you could say that I complicated things for them there. I would excel in one class at the boarding school and then
cause no small amount of mayhem in another. The guards in the city knew me well too. While not a bad kid, they would say,
almost everyone of them knew my name and my reputation for causing mischief while stopping from going too far. I would
tiptoe right up to that line, but never cross it. But that didnt matter. Since my parents were important I had to toe the
line to not make them look bad. Thats probably what got me sent to Galadon. I was just causing too many headaches for them.
But Galadon, wow the city! Thats where things really got interesting. There I discovered my talent for and love of magic,
but also saw more of the darker sides of life. I had always focused my pranks and the mean people around me, but now I began
to see a greater purpose. Maybe with this newfound magical talent and my impulsive nature, I could actually help people. I
have heard of this collection of people who also want to help people and Ive gone off in search of them. I hear that they call
home not far from the streets of Voralian City that I used to haunt. I have also heard of another group. A group that sounds
a lot like me, whimsical and eccentric, but also nice. I will seek them out as well. Rumos tell of a place where they go,
to live, laugh and love deep underground and this odd fascination they have with the number 13.
