Chapter 2

After several years of travelling, Glaubarsto had learned something of the
rest of the world. His temper, coupled with his mouth, would
often get him into trouble, but his skill with weapons, coupled with
his minor priestly abilities, would often serve to get him out. The
most profound observation the young dwarf made in his travels from
village to village, was that while not every place was plagued by
orcs and goblins, they nearly without exception had a different evil
to trouble them. He soon began wandering aimlessly about Thera,
stopping at villages and offering his services as a warrior in
exchange for a stable to sleep in and some breakfast, and maybe a
flagon of ale or two. He eventually made his way to the city of
Galadon, the heart of mainland Thera, and enrolled himself in the
but of the many Theran Gods that ruled in the pantheon, and in
guild, Glaubarsto set out in search of the shrine of the Phoenix.

Role

Chapter 3

Born in a small dwarven village high in the mountains, Glaubarsto was
taught to wield a weapon from a young age. Dwarven families hold to
a strong sense of tradition, and will often pass down their trade
from generation to generation. Where some may be expert blacksmiths,
or miners, or wood workers, Glaubarsto's family has always been
paladins. The mountains their village lies in are often plagued by
the likes of orcs, goblins, and other such beasts that the dwarves
are constantly warring with.

Like all young dwarves from his village, Glaubarsto spent many of his
young days at the Temple, where the priests taught him and his kin
basic skills such as reading and writing, and schooled them in
history and religion. Glaubarsto became known among his tutors as a
trouble child, even among the usually brash and rowdy dwarven
children. While he learned quicker than any of his classmates, and
excelled in all of his lessons, his explosive temper was always quick
to get him into trouble, and his teachers all agreed that he had what
was likely the foulest mouth they'd ever heard in their long careers
spent surrounded by other dwarven children. As he matured,
Glaubarsto's interest in his religious studies led him to spend much of
his time learning the ways of the paladins, much to his families' pleasure.
On reaching his 40th year, he decided to follow in the footsteps of his
grandfater, and venture away from his home and out into Thera.
