Chapter 1

Fifteen years ago, i left Ayr'Trinil. Left to pursue dreams and teachings
that were considered forbidden in my old home town.

I come from a tradicional family of Zrynk'Alyl guards, so keeping the laws
and the order at town and home, was always teached and enforced with iron
fist by my family. We come from a long lineage of dark guards, that know
that order will only be kept with exemplar and proper punishment. We always
took care of each other, and know that doing our job, we were taking care
of the community we protected.

But, i was obsessed with the tought that death, was not enough punishment
for criminals, because their actions many times, remained causing pain and
mourning to the families of the victims. And, there were tales, of a rare
and secret teaching, called unholy blessing, that could trap the very soul
of the fallen into an eternal prison. That, in my mind, was a proper and
exemplar punishment to a criminal.

But as i said, this kind of teaching was forbidden in Ayr'Trinil, so my
only option was to leave my family and our traditional ways behind. With
a heavy heart, i moved to Galadon, to join the guild of anti paladins and
start my training. To learn magic, i had to remain studying for hours at
days to understand its principles, and that caused me to loose something
that was always a reason of much pride in my family, the speed to avoid
blows. But it was the cost to pursue the hability to create the prison.

The Tribunals, are a very orderly organization, with the function to keep
order and peace in towns, punishing and pursuing criminals wherever they
choose to hide. For me, was a natural choice to get a job with them, and
in some sense, keep the job that my family always did. I still have dreams
to become a Provincial Magistrate and perhaps some day, a Vindicator.
