Chapter 13

Waking from her sleep, she knew. It is something that no parent ever wishes
to see nor feel but here she was. At first perhaps she thought it was a
nightmare, yet in her heart she knew the truth. Knew that she would never see
her golden finch every fly again, he poor Lonfedric. How had this happened,
and what is this vile eye which marked him for such?

A mother who has always aided any and all within the lands, and this is how
she is rewarded by Thar-Eris? Tissie knew her son had chosen a dangerous path
in life, yet this was beyond his own actions and set in motion by another.
One who worships loss and suffering, to the point they have forgotten all
that is good and happy within the world, the Sunwarden. By her own words, she
claimed to have set the ritual into motion, the very ritual which now has
taken her son from her. How can Tissie in good consciousness stay within the
Refuge lead by one who has done such?

Yet, Tissie will not succumb to despair and loss and give the Sunwarden what
she would want. Tissie shall instead open her empty heart to all of the land
and aid wherever she can. She shall remember her dear son Lonfedric by
honoring him in all her actions and not let the Sunwardens actions taint his
memory. Tissie shall walk forth from the Refuge and continue her good deeds
and love for all. She shall be a protector to any who she can be, but no
longer tied to Outlanders.

Chapter 12

Tissie has been bombarded recently by many coming to her with strange tales
and rumors. First and foremost was when Tristhana spoke with her about
working with necromancers to help solve her infertility problem. A morbid and
abomination to that of life itself. Tristhana sought to have Tissie provide
some of her own flesh and parts to help achieve such an unholy thing. More
so, it was confirmed to Tissie when Dollerveim came to her speaking of
Tristhana as well. Dollerveim spoke of how Tristhana was even trying to get
his aid with dealing with the vile necromancers and that it had thrown him
into inner turmoil with his soul.

And ever since then, Tissie has been pestered by necromancers from across the
lands. First Haelior wishing to speak with her and then Ehrlon. More
confusing however was Ehrlon was sent to her by another of the refuge and
spoke of seeking the same goal. How could one, even a reaver, work with such
a foul aversion to life?? Yet Ehrlon attempted to taunt her with words,
claiming that he knew who the father of Lonfedric was. Clearly she had to
know who he was..right? Though as she tried to focus upon his face, only that
of golden hair could ever come to mind. Though he had to be of elven heritage
as well, that much must be true! But Tissie would not succumb to the trap of
lies and words of Ehrlon. For he even seem to suggest that the Sunwarden was
behind much of this. That the Sunwarden was taking much enjoyment in the path
she was walking and reveled in how she believed Tissie to be lost.

Twice now the Sunwarden has been brought to the mind of Tissie. As first it
was claimed she was responsible for the fire, and now that she knew more of
Tissie and was taking joy in such. This shall have to be addressed.

Chapter 11

This poor soul, so defensive when only trying to ask him questions about the
incident at the Manor. As Tissie attempted to ask Umbrand about the children
and who lead them away, he would respond with vague answers as if he was a
child in trouble. When trying to get to the truth, it was then that he would
respond in rage. Tissie could clearly see it was a feeling of guilt upon his
soul as he was looking for insults in any question given.

However what Tissie learned troubled her. There had been a dark ritual and a
fire had broken out at the manor. It was during this time that Umbrand had
become injured and incapacitated , and was unable to prevent the children
from being lead away from the manor. He did not know who those people were,
nor did he know where they were being taken. Tissie vagly did remember a
memory of a pale little girl with dark hair being lead away by a faceless
person, yet this was well after the fire had been extinguished. To such, she
pressed Umbrand on if he knew who that little girl was. Tissie had thought
perhaps it was Tristhana who had been lead away yet she was told her hair had
been blond and not dark. Umbrand could not remember any child with dark hair
and pale skin.

Umbrand however told Tissie a fact that he was sure upon which chilled her.
Umbrand proclaimed that Maeneekoni, the Sunwarden was the one responsible for
the fire. Why would such dedicated to life and nature be so willing to wontly
risk the lives of poor children? If such was true, perhaps Maeneekoni was in
fact not a soul fit to be the Sunwarden.

Chapter 10

"You are nothing like Tristhana" is all that she has heard from a few within
this world. Why would they even say such things to Tissie as she has only
ever met Tristhana once and it was only briefly. Yet soon even Tristhana was
wanting to speak to Tissie, as she would claim that she had heard both their
names in a memory long gone.
Intrigued, and feeling the pain in Tristhana's voice, Tissie could not but
help speak with the poor girl. Memories of both Tissie and Tristhana's name
being called out haunted her or so she claimed. She even mentioned a vision
of a tree and fireflies, much as Tissie had remembered at one point. Yet
Tristhana seemed to remember having two dolls which she was fond of. Tissie
never remembered anything of such from her past, though she felt pulled
towards Tristhana and her story.

Though as Tristhana would go on, the confusion and questions soon turned to
anger and jealousy. Claiming Tissie had everything, the perfect life while
Tristhana had nothing and was left in a cruel dark world. Tissie had no
answers for her and took the brunt of her anger and frustration, for this
poor woman was in pain. Yet this would only spur more anger and rage into
Tristhana, as soon she was screaming at Tissie. It was then that she that
Tristhana was baren and'never have the joys of children. The sadness and
pain in Tristhana's voice all made sense now, yet there was nothing Tissie
could do to ease her pain. More so, the very existence of Tissie seems to
fuel on Tristhana as she embraced the dark pain of the world.

Yet before Tristhana was finished with Tissie, she seem to place the blame at
the feet of Umbrand. Again and again that name keeps coming to her ears, and
always seeking him out he seems to never have time. How can one man be
responsible for such pain and anger in the world?

Chapter 9

A strange memory enters your mind. It seems at once foreign and alien.
You recall retreating to a tall oak tree, where no one would disturb you, and seeing fireflies
And then... as it grew dark... you had to go home.
Home
Impossibly, a large manor along a cobblestone street in a city enters your mind's eye and vanishes just as quickly.
"Trissie!" a voice calls from the manor.
Home...

Roaming the streets of Seantryn, Tissie could not but help feel nostalgic as
she wandered aimlessly. It was as if she was viewing this city through
another's eyes. Why would such a behemoth of a city feel soso familiar?
And yet faint memories of a voice calling from a manor. Calling for one to
return home. Lost in through she swore she possibly heard her name. Heard one
yelling for her to return home. Yet as she stood there the young Dollerveim
came upon her wanting to know what she was doing. Absently she rummaged
through her sack and handed him a piece of candy and just sort of wandered
off. Dollerveim seemed not to noticed as his eyes had lit up at the sight of
candy.

As Tissie walked further and further, the voice of a long ago memory echoed
through the streets. She swore she could hear a voice calling out again
"TRIS-THAN-A! NOW, this INSTANT!"
Stopping in her tracks, that name had never graced any of her memories
before. Perhaps she was just tired as she had seen the Tribunal Tristhana
within the city. Clearly that had to be the case because she never remembers
any other encounter with this woman. Leaning against the cold stone walls of
this horrid city, Tissie was started when she heard a voice she did not
recognise. Before her stood a woman with patchy hair glaring at her, "What
are you doing in this city, savage?" Snapped back to the present, Tissie
could only stare at this woman, asking "Who ARE you" for she had heard her
name in the memory. Glaring at Tissie Tristhana would only respond that she
was a magistrate of this city and pressed the issue of why was Tissie there.
Not really sure herself, Tissie could only whisper in a soft voice that she
believed that she had lived her.

Laughing at her, Tristhana told her then that she felt sorry for her as only
sadness and misery filled those from Seantryn and only that of the foolish
Umbrand believed otherwise.

Umbrand. Another name that tugged at her. Asking Tristhana who that was,
she would only tell her that he had been a foolish soul who had ran an
orphanage in the City. Overwhelmed with all the emotions, Tissie retreated
back to the wilds.

Perhaps she could find this Umbrand. More so, she longed to find the tree and
watch the fireflys once more.

Chapter 8

Dollerveim was a shaman like most within the Spire to Tissie, another
mindless soul following orders which truly did not help the people. Faced
against Dollerveim as his superiors took the fetish and forced him to guard
such, Tissie did such though did not relish it. She would not back down to
any who thought they could bully their way through the world, and it was her
duty to teach and enlighten ALL within Thera and not just those who believed
as her.

So it came as a surprise to her when Dollerveim reached out to her after such
an encounter. Evidently he was concerned as Lonfedric had spoken to him out
of concern for Tissie's safety. You know how children can be, seeking to save
the world in their actions. It was in this moment that Tissie saw that
perhaps some of those of the spire may see the light and true salvation of
Thera. Tissie spoke to him of how the Spire only cares about enforcing their
will and laws upon the people, and not the people itself. That there are so
many villages and such which were not govern by the Spire which thrived in
unity with Thera, without the rigid views that others would seek.

Dollerveim attempted to counter such an argument, and this is when he spoke
of how he had grown up in Seantryn on the streets. How he has survived on the
goodness of others giving him food, and a bit of luck was able to survive. It
was this that Tissie latched onto, pointing out to Dollerveim how it was not
the laws which forced people to help him but the kindness in their hearts.
That while he was an orphan upon the streets, it was not the Spire nor order
which cared but the very souls he would later come to place rules upon.

Chapter 7

So far Tissie's encounters with those of the Tribunal have been limited. She
has never really saw a reason to wantonly break the law, but she has never
been limited by it either. She does not act just for the sake of acting out
like a spoiled child. So when she found that the fetish had be absconded from
the refuge by the Tribunals, an encounter was forced. She would do as she
must, for the ancient souls of nature must be allowed to flourish, and with
them enforcing their will that just would not do. As Tissie assaulted the
Spire, soon she found a young conjurer by the name of Oit respond. Clearly a
mage graced by the sun for an archon followed and praised her actions. Yet
without even a word or second thought, Oit lashed out at Tissie. Tissie stood
her ground and focused upon the Captain as she would not strike out at this
young lady. Though as she tried to speak with Oit, only that of silence was
met and she was ignored by Oit. Such a sad soul, driven either by misplaced
dedication to a system which does not care about the poor and helpless. Or
one who allows themselves to be the puppet of darker intent.

Guiburuey however is another story all together. A churlish child who is
filled with anger and rage for some unknown reason. Purly without manners,
Guiburuey is nothing more then one throwing a temper tantrum and lashing out
with homicidal rage. As Tissie attempted to speak with him, all he would tell
her is "magic is bad". Refusing to speak more upon it, Guiburuey clearly is
in pain and seeks to fill the void with some misguided thoughts of death.
Tissie felt a little annoyed at such a person however, as he dared say he was
the same as her, if not her better. While he only seeks to take life from the
world, Tissie has given life and nurtured so much more. However Tissie does
feel sympathy for him, and has told him such and that she will never see him
as an enemy. Merely a lost soul.

Chapter 6

Ah, what a marvelous adventure it has been thus far. As Tissie began her
travels across Thera, she would often get strange stares. For she was a bit
older for one new to the guild. Yet a smile upon her lips and a kind word and
they would melt and welcome her as if they had always known her. Tissie soon
found herself traveling within this Forest deep in the middle of nowhere when
she heard the ground rumble and trees being to shake. Being so close to the
Earth she found it strange that an Earthquake would catch her unware within
the forest!

Though to her amazement, out of the forest a cloud giant priest emerged. A
smile upon his lips though a sort of lonely look in his eyes greeted her as
he looked upon her. As Tissie introduced herself, she soon came to know this
giant as Goom, who had traveled for so long by himself. Goom professed to be
quite lonely and was willing to walk a bit with Tissie and help her, even
though she was much more inexperienced them him.

As they traveled and she grew, Goom would go on to tell her how he did not
remember much of his past and how he just had this urge to help people. Goom
seemed to grow attached to Tissie very fast, perhaps because Goom had no
memory of his own mother and saw something of such in her. And Tissie was
quick to take in poor Goom, for he was such a kind soul.

With the aid of Goom, Tissie soon found herself well experienced within the
guild and found her way to the Refuge. It was an easy choice to make, as
nature had always guided her path and it was to them she now followed. It was
not long till the Sunwarden called to her and spoke with Tissie. At first he
too was surprised about her age and that she had a child, yet with a twinkle
in his eye and a giggle he accepted her with open arms. Perhaps it was the
little treat she had given him, or perhaps just her motherly way that made
him accept her. Since then, Tissie has walked the forest and plains walking
where her path may go. Listening to the wind in her ears, and the light
leading the way.

So it was upon the day she saw her little golden Finch, Lonfedric! My how he
had grown! And oh my, he has joined that of the assassins guild? Lonfedric
was joyed to see his mother as he apparently had been so worried for her. She
comforted him, and was shocked he was so worried. He had told her that he had
joined the assassins guild because he wanted to become a protector to hunt
out evil in the world. To keep the those such as her and his loved ones safe.
Such a good boy.

Chapter 5

Having traveled Thera, Tissie has seen wonderful and loving people throughout
the lands. Yet where there is sunshine and light, there shall always be
shadows. And deep within those shadows she has seen vile hatred and greed.
These poor souls who clearly have grown up without the proper teaching or
love of a mother. Without the care which would have shown them that they are
loved and have a place in life beyond wanton murder or lust.

Having traveled mostly in villages, Tissie saw a lot less of this as families
there were always close and tight knit. They helped one and another to raise
children together and always keep an eye upon them. It was only when she
dared to venture into the larger cities from time to time did she see the
overwhelming display of inhumanity. Large cities where society had lost its
humanity and everyone was a stranger to each other. Faceless souls who could
treat each other no different then beast, having little to no compassion for
their deeds. Tissie could not but help that such cities were a breeding
ground for such anguish and pain within the world. No mother could or should
ever send their child into such a cesspool of villainy.

More so, it seemed as if these "children" were lost in their ways. They had
turned their backs upon the world around them and nature itself. Yet Tissie
could not very well turn her back upon any in need and believes that any who
are lost can find their way back with the right guidance. To these lost
children, Tassie shall always strive to show compassion and love, to show
them not to strike out in fear but to embrace those of the world and nature.

Chapter 4

As the tears run down her face, Tissie knows they are both out of love and
heart ache. For as the sun faded, she is brought back to a memory of a time
she feared. A time all mother's fear as she had to let go of Lonfedric and
allow him to fly free within the world. Now a young man, she had done
everything she could to protect him and make sure would be prepared for the
world. However she was the one who was unprepared for such a day.

Helping him gather supplies, Tissie packed his knapsack with a few extra
things as only a mother would do. A few of his favorite treats and a clean
pair of clothing which he insisted he did not need. Yet mother knows best.
Kissing him on the cheek, he gave her a hug and turned and walked out from
the forest towards one of the villages they had passed a while back. He had
been her whole life up till now, and now there was an emptiness within her
soul. Quietly she sat there and watched until she could no longer see
Lonfedric, crying the whole time.

As the sun set however, Tissie would not give into despair as she was a
strong woman. For what else could she be as she raised her son by herself all
across Thera? There was much to be done and so many more things to see and do
in life. Nature was all around her and as it had given and blessed her in
raising Lonfedric, she would give back and dedicate herself to it. She always
had been gifted with the elements and many often said she had a green thumb.
Then again, that is to be expected from any mother, always wanting to nurture
and love those around you. With just a bit of love and care, anything can
thrive and live a wonderful life. Guidance and protection is all that this
world needs, and too much has been lost already. Too many are set lose into
the world without a mother, or love. Those poor souls always attempting to
fill it with greed or power, yet they shall never be whole.

Chapter 3

Slowly walking down the hill as the rain shower moves in, Tissie walks with
her head up towards the sky allowing the rain to caress her face. She does
not have to watch where she is walking for she knows the way and can feel her
path before her through the flow of nature and life. Yet through her closed
eyes she can feel the sun's rays upon her skin and she slowly opens her eyes
to look. Peaking out from behind the dark thunderheads, the sun continues to
shine its golden light. Tissie can not but help feel warm and comforted as
she is filled with thoughts of her boy Lonfedric as the golden light reminds
her of his hair.

Ah, little Lonfedric my little golden finch. So small back then and always
full of life. Always having to keep an eye on him as any mother would with a
young little boy. Take an eye off of him and he would run wild through the
forest laughing and carefree. Yet always there for him when he did return
with scrapes and scratches. A mothers touch and a small treat would set his
world right again, and cure any sadness in his little heart.

Tissie however never had wanted to stay in one place for too long and had
thought to show Lonfedric the world. Blessed with a magical affinity to the
elements of the world, Tissie could do odd jobs here and there for all the
villages along the way to keep Lonfedric fed and taken care of. A simple life
it had become, yet it was one filled with joy and love as they crossed Thera.
Always sticking to the smaller villages in the rual areas, because the larger
cities had always made Tissie feel uncomfortable. They were no place to raise
a child, and Tissie shuddered to think of what could happen to Lonfedric if
he would get away from her sight there.

Upon arriving at a new village, Tissie would always get stares and people
asking if they were alright or if they were running from something. For it
was a strange sight to see a mother and child walking the trails alone.
Smiling, Tissie would always reassure them that they were quite alright and
that they were traveling the lands of their own will. Yet the question that
would always haunt and follow her was when they would ask about Lonfedric's
father. Looking at Lonfedric she felt like she could see him in his face, the
golden hair and the smile. Yet the rest is like trying to grasp sands through
your fingers. He was tall and graceful, and had a smile which could fill any
heart with warmth and joy. Though was he human? Was he an elf? As she would
try to remember the vision of him would always be just hazy enough not to
see. Yet she had Lonfedric and that was enough for her. Why dwell on someone
who is not here with her.

As the sun once again dips below the black thunder clouds, the light fades
from Tissie's face. Her dress now soaked, she continues to make her way
towards the forest standing before her with a smile and tears upon her face.

Chapter 2

As Tissie sits upon the grassy hill watching the sun set, she smiles as she
watches the world around her. As the wind blows through her hair, a few loose
stands of it are caught and blow in front of her face. Looking up, she see's
clouds coming in and she knows there will be rain. The smell of the Earth has
changed to a rich wholesome smell and the setting light is giving off a
slight green hue.

Evenings like these stir a long gone memory of her childhood where she could
swear she had sat like this and watched out over her farm village. Idly
Tissie touches a small scar on her forehead, her fingers tracing the almost
faded mark. But that was so long ago it is nothing more then a hazy dream and
so much more has happened since then. Odd however since she had not given her
childhood much thought in all the years since, but the past is the past. So
many memories have since filled her life and she has been blessed with a
beautiful son who has given her such a greater purpose and joy.

As she stares out, her thoughts drift and wander as she continues to trace
the scar. Smoke upon the wind from some camp fire seems to stir a few more
emotions deep within her, yet she can not say why. A memory of standing
before a burnt-out building in Seantryn Modan drifts through her thoughts.
She can still smell the smoke and burnt wood of the building, the soot
covering everything around them. What troubles her however is she remembers
holding her son Lonfedric close to her as a little girl with pale skin and
dark hair is being lead away. She can not quite remember much more about this
little girl or who had taken her but the memory makes her stomach churn.

A cold raindrop splashes upon Tissie's cheek causing her to come back to the
present. Sliding down her cheek she reaches up and wipes it away, clearly it
was a raindrop and not a tear right? Slowly more and more rain drops fall
from the sky and once again a smile graces Tissie's face. With one last good
stretch, Tissie runs her fingers through the grass and wiggles her bare toes
into the dirt before she brushes off her dress and stands.

Chapter 1

Tissie is a mother at heart, a nurturer and a lover of life. She has a way
with all living things, as she feels connected to the world through the flows
of magic.

Tissie has lived her life to this point for her child Lonfedric and shall
always place him before anyone else including herself. She does not seek out
confrontation or violence, yet she will be the mother wolf and kill any who
seek's to harm Lonfedric or her family.

However Tissie as the kind soul mother that she is, is quick to befriend
people and treat them like family. And as such, she becomes dedicated to them
like family and will defend them as such.

Tissie will always fuss over loved one's and strangers alike. Always wanting
what is best for everyone, she will always have a kind word and a smile for
even a random stranger. As with most mothers, she is quick to scold bad
behavior yet will always have a treat with her for those she loves. When she
fails to be able to provide for others, she becomes frazzled and frustrated
for she feels like she has failed as a mother.

Tissie has an affinity for Earth most of all due to her connection nature and
life, followed by Fire, Water and Air. The primal essence of nature is where
she has the most feel and affinity for, while that of the lesser elements of
Lighting, Ice and Ooze is a little lacking.

Tissie tries to have a soothing effect on all of those around her. She has
chosen to join Outlander out of a need to defend and nurture others. She is
not about the destruction of society, but to guide it to a better place and
embrace the world and nature.

While she is good in nature, Tissie is not above helping those who are evil
at times. It is never so that they may harm another, but it is always in an
attempt to show them love and compassion. To get them to feel the mothers
touch and perhaps fill the void which has lead them down a dark path.
