Chapter 2

Fire begins burning everywhere, the night sky filled with smoke. Screams and
cries are heard around. The smell of blood fills the air fills the air. A scream I recognized
chillingly pierces my ears. I get up and rush too.. umf! My mouth is covered and
I am being restrained, a few foot steps stop before our door, then move along.
The benefit of living in the slums I guess, our home didn't look like much. My father held me
tight, and kept me from making a noise, but all I wanted to do was run to her.

Waking up screaming, I realize it was only a dream.

There's not a day that doesn't go by that I don't think about losing her.
That I don't miss the thought of what life could have been if she was still around, but
we all experience loss, whether we admit it or try to hide and deny it. I have joined
the forces of the Fortress as a squire, and had served for quite some time now. And while
I server, the imperial hordes grow, and the darkness dampens the light. Even now I feel
I cannot trust some of my brethren in arms, as I was abandoned by Devrena in combat
after some foolish dwarf attacked us when we went to slay a wicked drow. That pain
of someone abandoning you, like my father did me, brought something out of me
that made me lash out, and become quite agitated, but because of such, I feel I can no
longer trust her.

That doll has spoken to me again, Lord Rahsael's essence through that broken and battered
doll, though I feel I see so much of myself in it, lost, broken, none wishing
to play or spend time with me. The feeling of lost lingers ever so deeply, but at least
I am starting to understand it more and more.

Role

Chapter 1

Dielicai grew up in AryTrinil parented by only her father, as her mother
was murdered when she was young, to a slaver raid from Udgaard thus her
disdain for evil doers and slavery. Sadly since she grew up in the slums of
AryTrinil, the gaurds didnt get there quick enough to save her mother.
Because of this her father became misguided and would take his anger and
sadness out on Dielicai which eventually broke Dielicais spirit. The loss
of her Mother, and her childhood full of beatings and neglect, she journeyed
left without word when she was 14 years old.

She managed to join a band of merchants and travelers to make her way to
Voralian where she currently resides. While 14 years old, everything she had
was lost to her. Her father meant nothing to her due to all the abuse, her
mother taken from her, and her childhood filled with misery. She decided that
this hopeless feeling was turned into anger, and sought to find some way to
fight back in some fashion, and sought out the warriors guild.

She wasnt taught much about deities when she was young, but one of the
merchants had a symbol of a darkened lantern about his neck. Of course she
was curious so she inquired and was told about Rahsael, the God of loss. This
sparked her desire to learn more about this God. Though she was overwhelmed
with much loss in life, she wanted to move towards preventing such terrible
loss through her efforts and seeks the Fortress.
