Chapter 4

Blarn has traveled far and wide. Learned much from the lands
and his brethren of The Tree. His search for the deity of Chaos has been
No scent of Aylosi has come to his nose and the places rumors to host
her presence are silent.
Blarn thought long and hard, those his wild spirit was strong, there
remained a void within, unfilled. So it was he strode into the heart
of a mighty storm. Its winds raged around him, pulling this way
threatening to wrench any into their death, but Blarn felt only peace,
one with the raging winds, he flowed and ebbed with their fury.
With a gladness he raised his voice, and let it be carried to the
heavens on the rising winds. Calling out for the blessings of the
Ancient Spirits, to guide his spirit, to nurture the breath of life,
to rage and tear down the shackles of the enslavers, to fill his
lungs with their will.
It was but a whisper, but the voice which answered his call was clear.
It bade him to fulfill the will and spirit of the Wind, and to preach
the truth of Its words. With that Blarn felt the surge of power, of
peace, and he strode from the raging winds invigorated.

Addendum:
Blarn had no lastname, being wild and free there had never been a need
amongst his people, but now, touched by the Ancient of the Winds, he has
chosen one fitting of its blessings.

Chapter 3

Blarn will seek to add his strength to the Outlander pack.
His nature is affable and prone to whimsy of desire.
He has a penchant for the halfling weed amongst other things.
His affable nature though should not be mistaken for weakness
or soft-hearted, he knows only death to those who would pervert
nature's balance, chaos is a natural state, and the cycle demands it.
He will seek out Aylosi and live her ways.

Chapter 2

The journey started out sedate, the rolling river gently moving north.
The moist air thick with insects and the calls of the wilds, but
unperceived at first, the water picked up pace and soon Blarn was
holding on for his life as the waters roiled and bucked him like a wild
stallion, eventually throwing him as his log jammed against a rock.
The rushing water grabbed at him, twisted him this way and that, threatening
to fill his lungs as he gasped. How long he lay on the shoal he did
not know, but slowly he became conscious of a rhythmic sound of metal
on wood. As he stirred his mind he found himself in a forest, with
trees he did not know, large and vibrant. As he wandered towards the
sounds, he began to smell smoke, acrid and vile, and at the edge
of a copse what he saw ripped the breath from his lungs. A barren
waste of felled trees, taken from their prime, stump after stump, some
smoldering from being burned. His eyes began to water, from the smoke
from the pain in his heart, from the anger in his soul as he saw
the culprits, filthy beasts, the nature of which he did not know, but
knew must be stopped.

Chapter 1

Born in the southern reaches, far beyond the jade mountains and
and forests, is a dense jungle, hot, exotic and untouched. Here
The dusky-skinned people are one with nature, living free and wild
a symbiosis: a cycle of life and death as the Ancients intended.
Blarn was the youngest of his family, the most adventurous, the most
curious. A wild spirit, prone to 'goin wid da flow mon' when his
chaotic nature dictated, letting his impulses and desires lead his
steps. It was one such impulse which lead him far from home and into
lands not one with nature, but instead cruel and dominating of it.
The mighty river runs, like all, never ending towards the sea,
at least this was the tale. A body of water so vast that it
caught the very tears of the Ancients, making it salty to the
taste. But Blarn, still young, wondered if these tales were true
or were the just that. So one day when a large dead log floated
past, broad and flat, with a branch raised in the air like
