Chapter 3

He sought to prove he had the courage to reach the pinnacle, all of the hardships, friends, enemies and setbacks a long the way. He knew it would take 13 years of training his weapons, and
13 years dedicated to defenses for every tier he gained in the guild.. He dedicated himself to spending 13 days, 13 months, 13 years for much of what he did. On the 13th day of the month, he was made a Squire.
He found himself able to survive some encounters with 13 steps to safety. He focused on his self-control and retraint with much of what happens in the world. He feels self-control and restraint is
a key to victory in anything you undertake, right after Courage and the number 13. He uses his self-control and restraint to keep his allies and innocents alive, while keeping evil ever guessing.
His lack of healing he felt was a blessing and lesser taught prayers, it helped show he truly had great Courage and the self-control and restraint needed. He has waited until his pinnacle to go to his lords shrine.
He wanted his lord to be proud of him. The lucky lord, praise the lucky lord.
His goals are to become the Marshal of the Fortress, to help the light and innocents, to use self-control and restraint when dealing with problems, enemies and daily life.. To help Thera as a whole.
He will go out of his way to avoid being a criminal, but will attack if no tribunal are around.
He has worked on self-control and restraint, he does not fear death, but he knows it doesn't accomplish goals at most times. If needed he will die, he will not cower to evil.
He eats only bread and water he asks his lord for through prayer.
He collects weapons, because he knows each opponent and situation requires a different approach.
He has had dreams of meeting his lord, but he does not know if they are real or his mind created them.

Chapter 2

As a boy, he was always wanting to prove he had courage, more than any other adult even. When he was 7, he would catch bees and release them near flowers, barehanded.
At 10, he would run thru the forest in the dark to look for "monsters" and scare them away from his village. At age 13 is when it all changed....
He began to see patterns with 13. 13 snakes slithering towards his village, 13 ravens circling, 13..13..13.. He propelled himself to join the paladins guild, what other would be more courageous?
After joining the guild, he was given 13 tests he had to pass, before moving onward, he saw this as another sign of good fortune. His patience and temperance was already forming.
As time went by, he learned more, saw more and experienced more than he had imagined possible, a long the way meeting friends and evil. He pledged himself to the Fortress of light as the ultimate
way in his eyes for courage.
On that day, he counted 13 shooting stars and made 13 wishes, now all is infront of him and he walks the path of courage.
