Chapter 1

The oath is just not a phrase or pledge, but it is all
I was raised and bred to do. My father was a Blade &
my mother was a Imperial Priest. Since I was a child it
was driven into my mind that the Empire was the only
true means of living and that I would be requird to
take the Oath whether I desired to or not. My schooling
and studies were of the Arcane Sects of past and the
great betrayal of my guild and others. It would be a
price I'd have to pay with my life. Mother agreed with
her fellow priest that a sacrifice was to be made for
the sake of her loyalty that was called into question.
In such, the sacrifice was her only son, me. I would be
not only a servant to the Empire but a slave. In turn
my mother and father would be allowed to ascend, for
for such loyalty to the Empire.

When I became of age, I moved from the Imperials Lands
and took residence in the city of Hamsah Mu'Tazz, a
city of Order and under the protection of the Spire. I
would there train with my guildmaster and seek forth a
place in the Academy. As my life is already written, I
merely must live it now.

Chapter 14

I've returned after years of isolation and on
the run from the Empire, not to include other
enemies I inherently have. All my life it has
been Order, Empire, Spire, Law, Rules.

What do I have to show for it? Nothing. I am a
dark elf, and that means something. How long am
I to roam the lands in seek of acceptance. Such
has been a failure. If the entire lands hunt me
then I have no other choice then to give them a
piece of my own pain.

I will not grovel before the Empire. I will not
take shelter in the Spire. I will not turn to
the Scions or the Tree, neither the Heralds. I
hope good relations can remain in factions in
which I've made allies.

I returned home to visit my mother whom had to
be buried. Her final words to me was:

"Do not live a life of servitude as I have, but
show the lands the superiority of our kind".

The words set well with me, as I looked around
the underdark burial ceremony. A queen, she is
and a King I shall be.

No more running. The King has Returned.

Chapter 13

I've ran from civilization. It has accursed me
these days. I have no refuge within the Spire &
perhaps that is a good thing. I did not wish to
tarnish the name of Order and Law.

Lost in my thoughts I no longer feel the desire
to be enslaved. But, instead to remain a freed
dark-elf.

The new Emperor wants me to suffer outside the
Palace halls. He wants to see him men rip me to
pieces. Even now hidden within a burrowed hole
avoiding the thought of running into Imperials. I
have not fault any as of yet, and I still do not
wish to. But, I may be left no choice if they
catch up to me. Regardless. Order Above All.

Chapter 12

One thing for sure the lands have one thing in
common. "Off with his Head" in reference to me
of course. Refuge because I was an Imperial &
Spire, Fortress because of my Aura, Empire just
because I was stabbed in the back and of course
the Village because they simply hate Magic.

But in the history of time, I've never knew of
one of low stature to unit causes. Empire on a
common understanding with the BattleRages. I
was assaulting by a Villager, Outlander and a
Imperial at the same time at the Spire.

Sebneso is making my life a little challenging
with his oppurtunistic moments of catching me
outside my form. I must learn from this mistake
for I seek to fight him at the both of our best.

Makes me think, all this hatred and I still
serve the Emperor's Empire. I leave my taxes
for the imperials so the Palace would not go
to neglect. I am in this position because I
followed an order. I am beginning to understand
the pain Inaj gave me about pain. The Cornerstone
was right. But so was I.

I'm enduring and pressing. Hoping that at the
end of all this; I may stand proudly at the
Emperor's side; where I belong.

My time with the Tribunal is pleasant enough at
some points. Gnimos and I got into a argument
but we agree to put our bickering aside for an
unspoken agreement, I willl leave the Spire in
the time the Emperor lifts my status again. He
does not know this. But, while I am here. I am
going to serve Order. I am true to all Law and
all Order.

Chapter 11

Walking about the Spire, I still have a spirit
that cannot let go. I feel revengful, but with
my talk with Inaj, the Cornerstone; I realized
that anything worth having is worth fighting
for. I am not a slave anymore. As a slave I was
to take the Oath. I rose to the Citizen, and
with my enemies mounting; the Spire was Order I
needed to find my bearings. I'm loyal to the
Emperor, and as I've always concluded; I will
not strike the Empire. I shall be like a Shield
and protect the Darkness and Order that has
been so quickly betrayed by the few. Glory to
the Empire. Glory to Order, and the Laws that
I enforce.

Such wisdom of pain, and durability was given
to me, and in this I am grateful to the Divine
Lord Inaj.

Chapter 10

So it does not come to surprise to me when I am within
the Spire and most do not agree to my presence. In fact
Gnimos and Vondersita doesn't even speak to me. Shouldn't
they know? I don't care? Do they even know the half of
what I been through to get here. They only see it from a
perspective far stretched from their own understand. I am
a freed being. I was tortured, tormented, and abused with
in the Empire. Their non-friendly behavior is what I have
come to expect from comrades these days. Kira, that one is
different. He met me before I took my oath; he is kinder
then the rest and I reward him for his loyalty with small
gifts or aid if needed. In the Underdark, it is a good &
noble deed when the world hates you. I suppose it is what
makes me who I am. Surely if an elven Provost can find my
worth; I can't be too far off from being worthy to wear a
badge. This is no popularity contest, or way to gain Glory
for myself. This is about Darkness which I am and Order in
which I serve. So please, you ungrateful tattered rats of
the Spire whom dislike me or seek to conspire. My pledge
was to the Laws and Order. Not them.

On another note, the city of Voralian has been refreshing
more so then I thought. I'm usually protecting a city of
no one, but my ocassional roads makes it deserving. Not
to mention due to my badge the Healer grants me services
now; not too bad at all.

Chapter 9

==============================================
Anathema I am and such life must move on. With
no word from the Gods or the Imperial Emeperor
to be; I've been faced with looking out for my
own wellfare. While I will certainly not strike
at the Imperials if they do not become criminals
I will defend myself. I've been an Imperial and
now I've been freed. Freed from a place that in
it's majority did not want me there. I look to
the Spire now and the things that I can make be
as a freed being. I can enforce Order without a
political Council try to backstab me. Darkness
and Order is alive. It is alive in me and in me
I shall serve it. The lands has something more
in store for me. My journey begins anew. Anew in
a world where I choose my own fate.

The Provost seem to take a liking in me. He is
an elf, but he puts his duty first. Walking in
and around the Spire I notice things are very
much different. The Halls are not as goldly, a
Executioner whom fights alone and of the common
people. The Captain looks like he drinks on his
off-duty times, but whom am I to judge. Quiet
are these halls. Quiet enough for me to study &
delve into my guild deeper then I have been able
too in a long time. Reading these books and all
these rules; the Spire is structured more. It
is clear one's place and it's requirement to be
followed to the letter brings a comfort to a dark
heart such as mine.

Chapter 8

All my life since I was a younger magus in training I
had known I would join the Empire. Furthermore, I also
knew based on my relationship with Zralder and Sebenso
that I would be casted out. I'm a slave, I'm always in a
position where I must be prepared for the worst.

The High Priest told me that I would only answer to him
and the Council. Today, I was casted out of the Imperial
ranks for following that same Order. Could it be that the
Empire is playing politics and I am just a casualty of it?

Or is it the War Master and Priest jealously that have drove
them to such a severe extent of a power move? I will not
fight Imperials. I will defend myself enough to get away
but I will not betray my family's oath to the Empire.


Should the Emperor or High Priest leave me out to dry
in the cold; I will have to make a decision then. For now
I maintain patience. Taking the Oath took forever, I guess
I am back to where I started. For now.

Chapter 7

I've had it! The War Master sickens me. If it
shall come down to me vs that swine; I choose
my above the Empire. I will not serve such a
self-centered moron with no true value more
so then I would trust a stray dog to deliver
my taxes. While I may be a Citizen, it will be
no more if he is made Emperor. I require such
immunity from his threats and bullying. Does
he not know that I am superior to him in both
areas of intellect and whit. Besides, what sort
of foul, disgusting uneducated beast would be
allowed to ascend enough to tell me what to do.

I feel the dark days ahead of me. I feel soon I
will lose what I've worked for as a Citizen and
claim my own war against his stupidity. Death to
the War Master and by my hands, one way or mine.

Chapter 6

At last, an Imperial Citizen and by the grace of the
High Priest. My orders come from the High Priest and
the Counsel only. While I am still enslaved, I consider
my slavery more tolerable now. With my dislike for the
War Master still; perhaps he shall fall off and cliff
and die for all of our sakes.

This promotion has enacted a sense of confidence within
me that I had never thought existed. I feel entitled &
above all, I earned every bit of this entitlement. Now
intend to use my promotion to push my more personalized
agenda. That agenda being ascending my magic and arcane
art to higher limits. Focusing on my final forms and
beyond should my studies permit. As the chapter of the
Imperial Citizen quest, concludes. A new chapter of my
life begin. Off with one shackle and on with an expensive
and more valuable set of shackles.

Chapter 5

===============================================
A tortoise is what my guildmaster taught me and
quite an aspiring insight. I've studied the form
as a young drow in Underdark, it was praised as
one of the few forms that was sustainable not
just for the lower standings in my guild, but in
the ranger of the lands Heros it thrives. It is
appropiate for me to think, that the tortoise
will prevail within the Empire. I am able to be
of good use when defending and providing defense
for imperials engaged in war. On the edge of a
form from my minor teachings; I grow despite
the enemies at my neck. The younger Sects members
of the the Empire are starting to come around in
regards to how the treat me, and some with, not
any ill to me at all. In speaking with the High
Priest; I've learned that an Emperor may be born
soon. This gives me hope that I may become a full
citizen and be considered a step above a slave.

I won't lie, I hope the High Priest is made Emperor
becuase at least I know, I will have a future for as
long as I show my worth. The tortoise shall propel
me into the pennacle. Gods of Order bless me.

Chapter 4

These cows of the Empire are menacing, vengeful and in
my observations jealous. They quickly seek a reason or
an excuse to make my life hard and further more label
me a traitor like the arcane students of ancient times.

Why did mother condemn me to a life of such service for
even death is better then this. I uphold my proud and
dark-elven pride. I stealthly walk between the imperials
with enough effort to get by. Without an Emperor to
impressed or to cling to, my life is literally up in the
air.

I do not quit, I will not falter. If anything it is a
challenge for we dark-elves are superior to all of these
lands.

Proving my worth will be through the focus of defense. A
defender and/or a glorified Centuarion hired by Empire to
take tolls and guard roads. I grow each day, slipping
further from useless and closer to usefulness. Question now
is how long I will last until they frame me and banish me.

Chapter 3

The Black Sect, yes; the last of the arcane amongst
the Empire has endorsed me and issued me the Oath
in spite of the other Sects. This Sect will receive
my loyalty above all others. It was an Anti-Paladin
of the Thirty-Seventh title. Upon my Oath it was
the Divine Sect, Priest Zraldar the first to throw
insults to me. Letting me know that I was the low
the lowest. As if I did not know. As if I was not
born, raised and breathing that thought each day of
my existance as a child. I was born into this; and
his lack of knowledge of my conviction will be the
downfall of him. My plans are simple now. Be that
whom is obedient, pay my taxes and serve the Empire.
Perhaps when it is all said and done, I may earn a
place as a true citizen at most.

With the Oath behind me. I move toward my next and
important goal. Grow in my guild, show my worth and
let destiny unfold.

Chapter 2

Entering into the world and through the ranks
of the Academy completing various tasks for
all sorts of merchants. However, priority was
to take the Oath, so I found the Imperial of
the Divine Sect, Zraldar. The Priest denied
me the Oath that I thought all MUST take. In
turn releasing me from my debt. His reasoning
was that he was not putting his reputation on
the line for me. I expressed to him my pledge
and servitude as a lifelong slave of Empire &
offered him coin to express my further attempt
to be given the Oath. I was told that I would
not be allowed.

This has thrown off my entire life's work, all
the studying, all the prepardness and now I am
to start my life a new. Freed from my Mother's
sacrifice I roam the lands for new purpose and
new meaning. Perhaps my destiny is still to be
determined.

I suppose the Arcane is not forgiven, Afterall.
