Role

Chapter 5

- In Cheyerre's talks with her Lord, she was given tasks to complete.
The first she completed and learned a great deal about the magical
arts, and tactics involving holding onto one's weapon. Secrets not
freely given, but worked out through words from unsuspecting enemies.
She has yet to complete her second task, but feels optimistic even
though it is no easy task. She feels Lord Panmorne has her on the
right path. That she can trust his guidance. She feels that with
him guiding the way, she will surely see her goal realizaed.

- Cheyerre befriended an elf by the name of Posatalis who was
banished from the halls of the Fortress of Light. Banished for not
following the rules of conduct. Seeing this unfold before her has
had a profound impact on Cheyerre. She is still a good Squire, but
with victory on her mind, she is unsure how far she would go to
see it through.

- Cheyerre has lived long enough to see some of the gray areas
between light and dark. She looks back on her earlier self with
no small amount of pity. She will always walk in the light, of
course, but she no longer thinks quite so ill of her father.
Perhaps, in time, there may even come forgiveness.

- Cheyerre dreams of Victory! To somehow draw in all wickedness
and taint in this world, and possibly beyond, and trap it within
her own soul. There it will stay. A prison of sheer will and
righteous fury. This is her dream. This is her victory.
She does not care what it costs. She is only driven to see it done.

*** deep inside, even she knows it. But so full of pride and ***
*** blind righteousness she will run head-first to her own doom. ***

Chapter 4

- Cheyerre has been inducted into the Fortress of the Light, and
has earned the rank: Squire. This has been highly motivational
for Cheyerre. She knows how closely her motives align with that of
the Maran. She is eager to prove herself, and constantly launches
herself into battle against the shadow with little regard for her
own safety. Yet she sometimes finds herself at odds with Maran
doctrine.

- She has spoken with her chosen Lord, Panmorne, twice and to
great length. She found herself in awe of such a divine presence.
She was beyond impressed, and if there were any waver before to
her devotion, there certainly is none now.

- She was killed by a drow Anti-Paladin named Vendel. Up until
that point, she had been flying through her guild circles, hardly
ever challenged. The death taught her many things. Humility chief
among them. Perhaps darklings weren't the weak push-overs she
thought them to be. Her resolve was not broken, however. She
continues on.

- Much of her time has been, and will be spent training. Honing
her skills has become something of an obsession. Days, weeks, even
a month have been spent under the waves fighting Sahuagin. She
seeks to be the finest swordsman or swordswoman ever to live.

- She has traveled and explored much of this world. She has slain
Dragons the size of houses, and stared into the eyes of Lich
Demi-Gods. These experiences have shown her her place in all of this.
She is small. The world is big. Darkness and evil span farther
than she can imagine. Still... Cheyerre is not deterred from her
path. In fact, she's more determined than ever... Slowly, her
eyes have become more grim.

- Cheyerre has become a hero in the lands of Thera. Advancing to
the final circle of her guild and even learning from the monks of
the macalla. Though, she does not feel a hero. Her resolve is not
broken, but she feels smaller than ever.

Chapter 3

- Many years have passed since Cheyerre read that book, and yet it is still
fresh on her mind.

- She has fought darklings on each continent, and has even laid low one of
the darknling adventurers. An orc of considerable size.

- She feels pulled by duty to the light. To try and end evil and wickedness in
man. She feels it is not enough to simply fight an endless war, but to finish
it. She seeks victory for the light!

- She plans to finish what that young man tried centuries ago. To win where
he failed. Her resolve is strong, and if she could, she would try to pull in
all the tainted and wickedness right now. But she cannot. The book was clear.
The path to victory requires divine guidance.

- She has finally chosen a patron God. The name has been on her mind for some
time. Panmorne, of war. She will seek him out in hopes of a clearer path.

- She also seeks to strengthen her soul against the wicked by laying low as
many of the tainted as she can. Not only so they can harm no more goodly
creatures, but to prepare her for what is to come.

- She seeks the Maran, for they share similar goals. She knows they are only
a shadow of the former Knights, but with her aid, they may recapture some of
what was lost.

Chapter 2

- For months, Cheyerre lived on the streets eating thrown out left-overs and
half-rotten animal corpses. She even stole for her meals a few times. She is
quite ashamed of this.

- She was eventually allowed to join a guild. She chose the path of a warrior.

- She advanced through the circles quickly until her 9th circle, when she went
out to explore the world.

- While exploring, she came across a book in the Tower of Sorcery. It was
very old, and stuffed behind one of the bookshelves in the great library. The
book told the story of a young man who rose to great esteem as a Knight of
Thera. This man struck blow after blow at the shadow, but was getting nowhere.
He then chose another path. To try to contain the shadow within himself. To
create a prison of his own will and determination. To trap all evil within
himself. The book was not clear on how. It only told that with divine
guidance did the man discover the secrets. Sadly, he was slain before he could
complete his task. Cheyerre comitted the book to memory, and placed it back
where she had found it.

*** Unknown to Cheyerre, when she placed the book back, it vanished. As if, ***
*** placed there for only one person to see. By whom, is unknown. ***

Role

Chapter 1

- Cheyerre Page was born under the name Cheyenne Al'Handoin in Voralian City.

- She was a high born. Her formative years were spent training as a lady. To
be formal, quiet, and obedient. She always hated this, and often rebelled.

- At age 12, one of the guardsmen for her parent's estate began training her.
Simple forms with the sword, and other weapons, but more importantly he
trained her in tactics. War and combat strategy.

- This training went on for around 3 years. Her father eventually found out
about it and had the guardsman beheaded. She knew her father to be a good and
honorable man, but this act showed her something else within him. This is the
moment she learned of great evil within all people. That it wasn't simply a
creature in the dark, but an enemy within.

- Cheyenne decided to escape this life, and forge her own path.

- Cheyenne Al'Handoin ran away at age 16 and began going by the name
Cheyerre Page.
