Chapter 5

Believes there are many opponents where only one should do battle against them to show honor.
Raiding, defending, groups of opponents, danger, or the deeds they have been or implied to do are how Grumba treats Honor in combat.
Controls his dwarven temper most all of the times, but some he responds to with a potty mouth.
Eats only his lords bread for food.
Believes leading by example.
Knows that some battles cannot be won by blood.
Gives respect to all but the most vile of evil, especially those whose deeds are the lowest.
Grumba believes some should be extinguished from Thera, especially those who destroy all of a persons belongings for "the fun of it".
Dislikes lies and tearing down an opponent verbally.
Likes helping adventurers newer to the upper world of Thera and helping them find a path.
Grumbles, grunts, mumbles, cracks his knuckles and cracks his head to show being ready to fight, responding to an opponent, showing not to fear what's about to happen.
Believes there is good in every soul, different amounts of light and dark. Two wolves in a constant battle. He believes the one who you feed wins.
Wants more than anything to be his lords known priest.
Is sometimes distant with allies and friends. He feels that the war takes a great toll on a person and fears they won't be here tomorrow.
Grumba tries to look at every failure as a stepping stone towards victory.

Chapter 4

The war was in progress, Grumba had begun to take part in many of the stories he had read about as a homeless child in Galadon. Battles against the undead became the norm, wights, mummies, orcs, imperials, outlanders.
Grumba had witnessed many die around him, each time he blamed himself and felt that he needed to prepare better and teach what he knew. It drove him harder, the more blood he saw, the harder he was driven to fight.
Grumba began to see that evil and the misguided were well prepared to do evil deeds and the light must be just as well prepared, in all aspects. Each time one of the darkness escaped, he blamed himself for not being able to finish them.

As time went on, Grumba was able to lead many victories of legendary beasts and evil, Tiamat all that remained for his fourth task.
The Empress and the ancient of Yzekon all that remained for the king quest. He wanted others of the land to learn more of Honor, courage and strength and tried to do what he could through actions to teach it.

Grumba woke up during the night and he sensed a dark and powerful force within a giant, the dreadlord. His dream was of the giant sitting on a throne, with one hundred souls within his axe.
He told others of this giant and what he sensed in him, the most dangerous enemy of evil Thera had seen in many years was the potential this giant had.

Chapter 3

After waking up and getting his eyes adjusting to the darkness, Grumba found he was in the shadow grove. He saw a path that many may have missed so he followed it.
Following the trail, Grumba came upon what looked like a cliff, but saw the faint outline of a paint, he followed it north. The winds began to blow and he felt he may be thrown off, but he continued on the path.
He came upon an altar and a tome, sitting and reading he felt a strange connection, a feeling he felt when he prayed for the man to be healed earlier.

The Shrine of Lord Korsgaard he had discovered, grumba wanted to thank the lord for helping him save the life of the winged being who gave him the key of light.
Getting on his knees, grumba prayed and gave thanks, not long after the Lord Korsgaard revealed himself. The lord gave off a profound aura of Honor, Courage and Strength.
Grumba thanked lord Korsgaard and told him what had happened, of his past as a child and sought to become his priest. Grumba was directed to the tome, which he managed to complete all rather quickly, except the fourth.
Grumba did knew that there was only so much time he had in his life to do what he could, that's why he wasted little. He accomplished these tasks to Honor lord Korsgaard and spread his teachings.
Grumba saw the Fortress and the light needed more soldiers, so he did not hesitate to advance in the guild as fast as possible, at times taking a beating in the process.
Each time Grumba got up and continued forward, He would not give up for his lord, the people of thera or himself. During a time advancing alone, the warmaster Glaunm came to him.
While fighting nightwalkers, Glaunm nearly ended Grumba, but with the Courage and Strength within, he defeated Glaunm. The lord revealed himself, and that day Grumba became a Squire.

Chapter 2

The
man Grumba was speaking to began to glow a bright light, wings appeared of
fiery red-gold, tendrils and motes of light surrounding this man. The man
changed into a warrior angel and bowed to Grumba. We have faith in you and
your Courage and Strength.
The next thing Grumba knew he was in a place
unfamiliar and very dark... A voice whispers from all around... Even in the
darkest of places the smallest light shines bright.

Chapter 1

From the youngest age Grumba was taught to hold honor closest to his heart,
courage and strength close as well. He was a homeless boy who always wanted
to be a knight. In all of his actions he gave honor and showed courage and
strength. Protecting the other homeless children from buillies, feeding the
children and stray animals, reading bed-time stories to the other children.
Grumba read stories of the Fortress of light, those within who fought the
taint of evil while spreading hope to the land. He would one day become a
knight and join this fortress, he saw it in person after a long journey to it
and dreamed of it ever since. Grumba felt every day was a learning
experience and a way to become a better person, stronger, braver, and spread
more honor to those he met. In a very large part the knights he read about
were his parents and helped guide him. Once Grumba came across a pile of
gold concealed behind some bushes, he could be "rich" and have anything he
could have ever wanted, but it was not the honorable way. He left the gold
for the true owner. Grumba felt those who carried the "red taint" of evil,
did not know honor or courage, only selfish motivations, lies and deceit.
Those who spent time around these "evil" folks he worried about much, he felt
that if they held honor, courage and strength that it may very well be lost
for good. A land with great Honor, strength and courage is what Grumba felt
was needed much and he would help by being the mirror and sword that
reflected it. What finalized Grumba's path was when he was awoken from his
slumber near the sewer of Galadon. Help me! Please don't let them take this!
Grumba opened his eyes and quickly sprung to his feet...Well for a dwarf it
was quickly. The man was covered in blood, full of sores and unable to
see.. Who are you, the man whispered in pain... Ah ahm Grumba, wha appened
ter yer mah friend? Grumba placed his hands over the man and prayed asking
for help to ease the mans wounds. The man's sores began to scab over and his
cloudy looking eyes became clear.. Thank you Grumba.. My...You speak and act
as a knight of old.. But you are a homeless child? The man reaches into his
pocket and pulls out a key of white light. You have been found worthy...
Grumba wasn't sure what was going on, but he took the key and held it in his
hands. The man whispered more about the key. This key is said to be able to
seal the shadow plane for all time, but you must grow much stronger in all
ways. This must be protected from the "evil ones" who have already sent
powerful evil demons and spirits to find it. Once the time is right you must
find the portal and close it for all time, to save Thera from what crosses
over...The man whispered that only one with great Courage, Honor and
strength could endure such a trial... Grumba nodded his head, placing the key
around his neck on a mithril chain and tucking it into his dirty shirt.The
